The Old Bag of Nails Pub

This is the best TOBONP location I have ever been to. Great staff, food was tasty, and the weekly lunch specials are a real value. Although they have the same menu, I thought the food was much better here than other times I had eaten at TOBON pubs in other parts of Columbus.

They are getting in the holiday spirit with a special winter cocktail list. Will have to go back for Happy Hour.

To say we were disappointed is an understatement! It was at best poor and was so totally disappointing. We will hope the other Bags haven't adopted the new ultra thin poorly prepared

The food they have the best fish and chips in Central Ohio. The ambiance perfect. The service is also great. It's a win-win. Fish and chips and fried mushrooms can't go wrong

Nice ambiance, definite "pub" feel with interesting memorabilia on the walls. Very nice staff who gives you the perfect amount of attention. I ordered the fish and chips and they were quite good but just didn't get to the wow factor. We all had a great time and will be back and I am looking forward to trying the bread pudding next time!

Relocated from Tremont Center, this tried and true format is now at Kingsdale Center in the new cluster of buildings that include luxury senior living, the new UA rec center, and apartments.

Like the other locations, there is the basic, hearty menu of fish & chips (outstanding), burgers, etc. Unlike the others, this new one is far from cozy and pub-like. It lacks wood, warmth and has a sterile feel.

The biggest complaint is the lighting. It's like an operating room! The halogen or LED can lights are nuclear. The dining side is especially bright and annoying. This is odd, as the owners of this chain should know that warm, incandescent lighting sets a mood and makes food (and people) look better.

Hopefully they will figure this out and install proper dimmers or lower wattage bulbs and make this a more enjoyable place to frequent. For now, bring sunglasses, or avoid, like I will.

I am a huge fan of the Tremont Center. It's a strip shopping center from the olden days of suburbia. It's got it all - diner, grocery store, barber shop, bakery, shoe repair, tailor, auto repair, bank, pharmacy, high end restaurant (Moretti's), and this fine place.

Old Bag has friendly staff, great comfort food, a superior selection of beers and cocktails...and they started offering pizzas certain nights from the westernmost room in the place - maybe it will become its own thing? Hearty pub fare and pizza? Hell, yes.

A great place for a family dinner at a booth or table - or hit the bar for a tall beer with your fish & chips. This place isn't going to get an Michelin stars, but then, most people I go to pubs with wouldn't want that. This is just a down to earth, solid choice for a filling meal with a couple of drinks to put a fine point on the experience.

They have one of those menus where so many alternatives look like winners, when you've gone once, you know you'll have to return to check out the other selections you passed on the first time.

Twenty minute wait to be served. Only 2 waitresses, and both are rookies. Terrible service. Don't waste your time coming here. No one wants to help you.

Great food and service. The servers were great and very friendly their were 5people in our group and everyone food was good

Well this sucks. I placed an Uber eats order at 8:07. They close at 9. The order appeared to be progressing smoothly--driver assigned, driver approaching the restaurant. I checked the tracker and noticed the driver seemed to have left but not exactly in the direction towards my house. At 8:43, the status changed to canceled. No explanation, no sorry email. WTF !
Now,it's too late to order elsewhere. Not happy with this experience.
