I went here once for an airbrush tan and though it was a tad embarrassing (you're in a tiny thong in a small room with a stranger who sprays you in EVERY nook and cranny), it wasn't an unpleasant experience by any means. It's a clean and very appealing environment. I consulted with the doctor about laser hair removal and didn't feel rushed. Granted, the prices are a bit steep, but are competitive with other med spas in the area. Still, though you consult with the doctor, he doesn't perform everything, including laser hair removal, so I'm not sure what the point is in that other than face time.

Got chemical peel, including dermal planing on this first & only visit.
It was wonderful, howerver, I used a groupon, and don't know if I could really afford to do this particular service on a regular basis. The consultation before my appt was very informative. I have had my fair share of med-spa services, but this was a new facial I hadn't done before, and the employee helped me pin-point which facial would be most suitable for me, the benefits, etc. Very helpful.
Valerie was the aenestitician that provided the peel/facial. She has years of experience and alot of knowledge......she has a great personality; warm, charming, & funny.
I would definitely recommend this facility & request Valerie specifically.
Prices are steep.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Karmon H.Kansas City, MO1413224Sep 13, 2013
I totally agree with Kate M. The center is a rip off. I had the same experience. I paid for more treatments than they said I would need to be sure the hair was gone and I still have hair everywhere that was treated.
And towards the end, since it wasn't working they must have really turned up the machine because I got a lot of burns afterwards which I normally didn't get.
Don't go here!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sid D.St Louis, MO02Aug 9, 2011
Outstanding results! Having been female and overweight most my life (40-50lbs), I waited 'til I was 41 to do something about it.
But BEFORE that, I also learned proper long-term nutrition, and I also learned how to work out and build muscle. Not just cardio, or working out occasionally. I joined Weight Watchers, which taught me how to eat, and I tallied up 20 years of working out and building muscl\e (worked with trainer off and on --- no, I'm not wealthy-- just wanted to first lose weight the right way and keep it off. No more yo yo dieting).
Finally decided to treat myself for upcoming 42nd Bday and get Vaser Lipo on my abs from Lifestyle Center i n St. Louis, MO.
My body was already lean for my age. 24% body fat (BF). And because of that, I got the lower advertised rate. Above 25% BF, the rate is higher understandibly -- more fat, and more work to remove fat.
My down time afterwards was nothing. Some pain but not much at all. The procedure which I was fully awake for, virtually painless (and I was scared!). Turned out to be a very cool experience and watched my fat being sucked out! They can also provide you with laughing gas if need be.
A couple days of bleeding from 5 holes in my abs. One reason I wasn't so sore and healed quicker than average --- I work out 5 days per week. My abs were decently strong (not perfect though). In essence, I was in good shape, ate healthy 95% of time and had realistic expectations.
Dr Moore and his staff were awesome, kind, and very professional. They weren't just into selling me something. In fact, Merrill, their consultant, talked me out of one procedure because she thought I wouldn't see as much results based on my BF. I love her!
I am more self confidant than I ever was....BECAUSE they sucked that belly fat out of me once and for all.....and BECAUSE I know how to keep it off!
I strongly encourage any candidates who do Vaser Lipo, Vaser Shape or Zerona to first ask themselves, "do you know proper nutrition? Do you practice proper nutrition 90+% of the time?
Do you know how to work out (not just cardio)? If not please consider hiring a nutritionist or join weight watchers AND hire a trainer for a few months. If you cant keep the fat off, you will lose your investment.
I still have to eat right. Still have to exercise and make sacrifices for my health to keep the belly fat off.
Not meant for couch potatoes. Unless you want to spend 2K every year, syphoning out the same fat you got rid of earlier. Even if you lost 10-20 pounds beforehand, you'd be better off, rather than going in there, a true full-fleged fattie, asking for a miracle. True, you'll lose inches as a fattie, but for how long? You MUST know how to maintain.
Hey---just trying to help, people ;)
I am going back for Vaser shape this second time around for another part of my body because I was so pleased with my initial results with vaser lipo! I cant wait! I also get 5 FREE zerona treatments along with it from this month's special. Holla! I just had the lipo done 7/22/11.
They also have 12, 18 and 24 mo financing with no interest! I signed up for 12 months no financing! Take advantage of that. Plus they have great monthly specials and always add free sessions of something to your package.
Call for a FREE no pressure consultation. I never felt pressured at all. It was a very informative consultation(s), tx to Merrill!
Good Luck!

Amy is the best. Very gentle & educated on the latest procedures. I've done chemical peels, Botox, & other secrets. Great place in people. Got to maintain your house, fresh coat of paint. :)

I went to The Lifestyle Center to get the TickleLipo and I was very impressed with the procedure. When I saw the videos that I would laugh though the procedure I was not sure about it. But I have to admit that when I went though it I as laughing so hard that you would have thought someone told me a very funny joke. The experience was very comfortable and the doctor and staff made me feel very relaxed and my experience with it was wonderful. My results are very pleasing to me I have a long way to go but I have come from a long way at the same time. The recovering time is little to none. I was only down for one day the next day was up and doing my regular schedule. I was out doing my daily exercise of walking and even back at work the day after that. If you are thinking about Lipo I would recommend TickleLipo with out a doubt.

I met with the consultant and Dr Moore. Staff was nice. The only thing people have good experiences with, must only be the injectables and derma fillers. That's all people do reviews on, that should have been My first clue!!!! My results from tickle-lipo and fat transfer are NON-EXSISTENT, except for the damage and dent in the side of my leg I NEVER had before in my life. I was super excited to have this done and all it was is and was a waste of time, money and gas. The Doc and staff seen I had no results, and seen how disappointed I was, they did nothing or could careless. I got some ridiculous excuse. So if you are thinking about tickle lipo I would look elsewhere. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and damaged

Received a "package" from a friend. Had a hard tome getting hard facts what it would cover. Got a soft answer at last treatment that since results weren't so good, had another treatment. Booked it, went and was charged for it as no documentation . Now find out "several " sessions means "6-15". That's a lot of wiggle room. Time to change spas....

If I could give this Zero stars I would. I went to 8 places in/around St. Louis for consultations about getting Laser Hair removal for my lower legs. I ended up choosing the Lifestyle Center because it was close to home, less expensive than some other places, and the woman I had my consultation with was an actual nurse, not just a saleswoman. I was told that most people just need around 6 treatments to get it all, but I purchased a package of 11 treatments because I wanted to get it done all the way and MAKE SURE it was all gone. $1,100 and 2 years later I still have ALL MY HAIR with just 2 or 3 very small patches that don't grow.
I have very fair skin and dark hair that isn't course or super thick, and I never tanned during the entire 2 year process. I was called the "perfect candidate."
When I asked after 8 treatments about not seeing any results I was told to hang in there and that my last few should do the trick. By my last treatment, when I still had hair I reminded them that they told me "6 treatments" was all I would need. My technician's response was,"We'll I don't know who told you that but I never would have said that because there's no way you can know that." Keep in mind, I bought ELEVEN, not SIX.
There was no apology, no attempt to fix the problem, offer more treatments, or give me any money back.
Also, one day I had a different girl take care of me while my usual girl was on pregnancy leave. The new girl switched out the head on the laser to better grab the area on my shins. I said "Could you please tell my usual girl to do that?" And it got very uncomfortable. Turns out, MY technician is the one who hired and trained the her. Read the reviews here and on google, they all say the same thing and then hopefully you won't get screwed out of $1,100.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Meredith P.Saint Louis, MO03May 12, 2012
I went to the Lifestyle Center today for a consultation, dermal planing and a chemical peel. During the consultation, I went over the medications I am taking and the products I use on my face. We also discussed what peel would work best for my skin type. After I waited an hour, I met with the aesthetician and was informed that she would be unable to complete the peel because of the current facial products that I use. I completely understand her concern and wanting to be safe. My issue is that the staff completely wasted my time. Why did I bother even having a consultation? I have received other services at the Lifestyle Center and have been very happy. Today, I was very disappointed.
