      Do not shop at the Maple Street Home Depot. They are very disorganized and you won't get a straight answer. Even dealing the the GM Will Davis was truly a disappointment. We were interested in buying a John Deere riding mower that they had 1 in stock. No one was able to locate the key so we left our name and said once they could start it for us we would return within 1 hour to purchase the mower. My husband and I talked with an Assistant Manager and then called Mr Davis later that day to let him know of the situation and our intentions. The following day they called in the afternoon to tell us "whoops we sold the mower". Mr Davis told us he would look into what happened and get back to us. We've not heard from him 2 weeks later.
      Lowe's was willing to order the same mower for us and made a $4000+ sale by just giving us good costumer service!

      So beware of shady promises and follow through if you deal with Home Depot on Maple.

      I want to recognize Stephanie, Dan and Gary at the 712 North Washington St. , Papillion, Ne., Home Depot for their excellent customer service. When I enter the store, they are the associates I look for when I have questions. Stepf, Dan and Gary are friendly and knowledgeable. Although there are many hardware stores in my vicinity, I choose to shop at this location because of these 3 superb customer service employees!

      My husband and I stopped by this location to check the snow blowers out. We stood in the area up front for close to 5 minutes as employees walked by. No one asked if they could assist us, or if we needed anything. One employee finally stopped by and looked up items for us. She was very nice and helpful. Hopefully our next visit will be better.

      I placed an order for a product my doctor recommended for my home. The product has not been delivered to the store. I receieve TWO messge indication it was going to be delivered four days and two days ago. A trip to Customer Service both times revealed it had not arrived. Today (the last supposed delivery date) indication it was on the way to the store. HOWEVER, when I attemped multiple times to use the tracker, the service was not available. It was not available yesterday either. Customer Service could give no reason. So I wait. Home Depot best find a more reliable delivery service. If not there will be others such as I who has ordered their last on-line purchased.

      Going to the Papillion Home Depot to remodel my kitchen was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. Their "professional" measured my cabinets wrong, had the window the wrong size and the wrong location...and it went downhill from there. Communication was awful and sometimes non-existent. When there was communication about delivery dates and project info it wasn't always true. The had to ORDER THE CABINETS MULTIPLE times because they kept reordering the wrong ones.

      Other Home Depots might be better, but I would never send a friend to this one.

      Case Description: We purchased a stove on October 13-
      Sales person over charged us
      Delivery people didn't install twice, still not usable
      On October 13, after 6 months of product and price comparisons, my husband and I purchased a whirlpool gas range/ double oven from Home Depot, papillion.
      The morning of my purchase, I compared both Home Depot and Lowe's websites again- Lowe's listed the item for 1299, Home Depot for 1279- so we went with Home Depot, because they both offer a military discount of 10%. Upon arriving to Home Depot, the salesperson told me the military discount only went up to 50$, however he could give me a 10% off coupon- I agreed. This should have made the price of the stove 1151. Adding parts kit (33.99), install (19.99) and taxes 90.83- the total should have been 1301.92. That was not the price I was charged- and when I asked the salesperson for an itemized receipt- he did not provide one. The total I paid was 1345.
      I was willing to let that go- however upon delivery of the item, oct 17, the delivery people did not install the stove- stating that it was the wrong gas connector. We had to have our contractor come out again at their direction to change the fitting for the gas ball valve. He came out that same day- the installers did not come out again until oct 25- and again they did not install the stove- stating that it had the wrong connector and indicating that the connector had been right in the first place. So they left, with our existing electric stove and left the unusable gas stove behind- and basically told me that I could hook it up myself after it had the right connector. I then went and purchased the original ball valve, and when I went to install it, discovered that there was simply an adapter on the existing ball valve- which if the delivery people had bothered to look, would have seen. I followed their instructions at hooking up the gas hose, used gas leak detector, no signs of a leak, however when I attempted to turn on the stove, I smelled gas. My husband and friends verified as well. I called whirlpool and they refused to come out to assess the stove until we had a professional assess. Saturday oct 26, a licensed plumber came and tested both with a gas detector and bubbles and verified that there is no leak in any of our lines- he however also smelled the gas and said he believes the unit itself is defective. Frustrated with this whole ordeal, I also called Home Depot about the pride discrepancy, and despite telling me on the phone that they would refund me the difference, upon me coming to the store and expecting the refund, Rene the sales associate told me that she had no way to verify the price and would not grant me the refund- so she wasted an hour of my time and created more frustration.
      At this point, we still don't have a working stove and we over paid for the stove that doesn't work! And we have paid hundreds of dollars in contractors and plumbers and being forced to eat out due to Home Depot and whirlpool.

      Bought a brand new item and put a 2 year warranty on it. Just to get home and find out it has been decently used. Go back to return it and the line was ridiculous so I left. This is not a good Home Depot.

      What a difference time makes with a personal change.

      This is a reason why consumers should shop at brick and mortar stores.

      In this case, that compliment belongs to Sam. Here is a individual who goes beyond the basic employee requirements . He is a very conscientious representative of Home Depot and their image that they, Home Depot, should be proud of and lucky to have him on staff.

      At the end of the day, when your looking at making a purchase from a big box stores for home improvement needs or products, think of Home Depot first, you will be glad you did...and I say write this to say Thank You to one of their outstanding employees.....Sam.

      I came to the store to purchase a blade for a paint taping machine. They sold the entire kit but not replacement blades. The staff at the front desk were helpful in giving me a phone number where I could call to order the replacement blades.

      It's ridiculous how good these employees are. Today I went to the plumbing aisle & a guy asked what I needed & we had a nice conversation about my toilet. We found what I needed & I was outta there. Nice greeter, very nice cashier. I used to live a mile from there, & I'd go in several times a day when doing a project. What's so awesome is that I could always find someone knowledgeable about electric stuff in the electric dept. Same with plumbing, paint, lumber, hardware. This is definitely not the case at their competitors. I've actually had Home Depot employees draw me diagrams.

      It's Home Depot.
