This is my new favorite local neighborhood restaurant in the Coon Rapids area.
I was a bit ambitious as I walked in and knew instantly that I loved the place without even taking a bite of their food. Their warm ambiance with wood floors, a fireplace, and a family friendly space without the craziness captured my interest instantly.
After absorbing the ambiance, I swiftly ordered a drink and whipped open the menu. Great/friendly servers! Food came out quick too. For some reason I was craving a stake and ordered their flat iron steak. Although flat iron is on the lower end of steaks, they cooked it as if it were a delicacy.
Bravo to my new favorite neighborhood restaurant! I will be revisiting soon with friends and family in toe.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Theresa C.Coon Rapids, MN1050Jul 9, 2012First to Review
I have lived in Coon Rapids for about 3 years now, less than a mile from this restaurant, and I had no idea it existed! It's in the Bunker Hill golf course clubhouse. The food is really tasty - basic bar/grill items, but it's so nice to have an option in this area that's not a chain! They make everything from scratch and use a lot of local ingredients, so that is a big plus! It's not "foodie" local food, but it's definitely well-made and well-priced too. The patio is just lovely as well, looking out into the trees and part of the golf course. We've succesfully brought our baby with us both times we've visited and there are usually other babies and kids, but it's not loud or obnoxious. They have some large tables for groups too.
I almost didn't want to write this review because I don't want to give away my new secret up here! There's a nice bar with TVs and drink specials too. We will definitely be here a lot more now!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony M.Andover, MN650Aug 9, 2012
Bunker Hills Golf Course ripped down their old clubhouse and restaurant and built this brand new beautiful clubhouse and restaurant aka The Harvest Grill. I have been there 6 times now and all 6 times I have had the Club sandwich with fries....its just that good! Best Clubhouse sandwich in the metro area in my opinion :)
Awesome in the winter for playing rounds of golf with your buds on their new golf simulators in which you have full bar and food service from the Harvest Grill!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M K.Minneapolis, MN1152Jul 20, 2014
Had a craving for some goods ribs and the Harvest Grill seemed like the best, closest place to get them.
Ordered the St Louis style full rack and the pan fried walleye.
The walleye did not disappoint us. The ribs however did. Half of the full rack was tough and had barely any meat. The other half had a decent amount of meat but you had to work to get if off the bone.
Told the waitress that we would only pay for half a rack and agreed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica L.Champlin, MN010Jan 4, 2014
My husband and I just had a fabulous dinner there tonight, on the recommendation of one of his colleagues and prepared by one of his former high school students. The steaks were excellent, and the mashed potatoes for divine (I adore mashed potatoes!). The squash was so good even my husband ate his (normally, I get his portion of those!) We could have lived without the bread, although there was nothing wrong with it, and the red velvet trifle was only so-so, but on the whole it was a great dinner!

First time there with a voucher from restaurant.com--I have to say I love the atmosphere! It was very settle and a calm environment to be in. I would say semi-classy...my husband and children were the only minorities there but that's okay we enjoyed ourselves! Food was great, server was great...would definitely come back.

The rotisserie chicken is fantastic as a entree, on a sandwich or salad. Truly delicious.

The atmosphere is fantastic - beautiful views all year round and a nice open dining area. The bar staff is great - go watch football on a Sunday and Shawn will likely be your bartender. We go almost every week for the beer and chicken wing specials during the games. Wine selection is so-so, but they have a full bar so you can always find something. The "poinsetta" is my current favorite - champagne and cranberry juice!
We have eaten lunch, dinner, and appetizers there. Many items have needed a little more seasoning, which is easily solved at the table. I branched out once and had the squash ravioli and it was delightful. Surprisingly good. If you live in CR, you know how limited we are for good dining and Harvest Grill definitely has all of the right components to meet this need. - Tammie E.Minneapolis, MN021Jan 11, 2014
This use to be our first choice for Sunday brunch last year. We were saddened when they discontinued it but ELATED when we heard it was back. Not any more! I had been bragging to my daughter's about how wonderful if was so they surprised me by making reservations for my birthday. What a disappointment and embarrassment. It is certainly not the same brunch we had enjoyed in the past. Highly over priced for the selection and quality. Go up OCB. You'll be much happier.
