In town overnight for work last summer, searched for best restaurants in the area, found this spot.
Has a French food vibe, staff are lovely and food was divine.
We were doing a bit of a drinking crawl so I can't quite remember what we had exactly lol, I think we ordered most of the appetizers. Sat at the bar so we could people watch while we dined. Bartender was excellent. When I am back in town will definitely be back. I just know that we were happy, (3 of us), content and full. Good people, great food and wine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 2, 2024
This place has quickly become one of my favorites to grab a drink and a quick bite during a day/night out! While there's not an extensive food menu, they do have a ton of drink options, the food is always consistent & everything is very well priced. Also, love that there's always good music playing, sports on the TV's, and that everyone is just so nice & accepting of others! The service has also been great each time and I've had some of the best service I've ever had there on a Saturday afternoon, even when they were super busy. Highly underrated spot to start or end your night downtown!

The food is not very good like at all tasted very bland but I get it it's a sports bar night life karaoke place , my bad for having higher exceptions
The only thing really saving it , is Calvert affordable drinks like $4 can't beat that probably best deal in town !!!
We got a good buzz on for under $20 and we had a lot of drinks!!!
Ce for the drinks avoid the food if possibleHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 20, 2023
This is the best trivia night I've been to (in terms of the questions and level of participation). I only wish the questions were displayed as well as spoken, because it was often difficult to hear from the back. Also, a bit hectic because of the bonus music rounds in between the classic questions. It's nice to just have a breather to talk to your team between rounds :) We ultimately gave up on the bonus questions because it was more fun to relax and talk over prior questions. Yes, we are total trivia nerds. You need reservations on trivia Thursdays because they fill up quickly.
I loved that they had a full vegetarian/vegan section of the menu.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Sep 24, 2023
Title: A Hidden Gem in Town!
Rating: (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of partying at The Green Pig Pub, and I must say, it's an absolute hidden gem in our town. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
First and foremost, the ambiance is fantastic. It strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it a great spot for both intimate dinners and fun gatherings with friends. The rustic decor and dim lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Now, onto the food - wow! The menu is diverse and filled with flavorful options. I tried their signature dish, the Green Pig Burger, and it was a revelation. Juicy and perfectly seasoned, it's a burger lover's dream come true. Their vegetarian options are equally impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes.
The service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ready to offer recommendations. They truly made us feel like valued guests.
Let's not forget about the drinks. The Green Pig Pub has an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails. I sampled a few of their cocktails, and each one was expertly crafted and delicious.
The Green Pig Pub also hosts live music events, which added to the overall charm of the place during my visit. It's a testament to their commitment to providing a great experience for their customers.
In conclusion, The Green Pig Pub is a must-visit. Whether you're a foodie, a beer enthusiast, or simply looking for a welcoming place to relax and unwind, this pub has it all. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 19, 2023
I always enjoy the Green Pig. It is my go to location before a concert, U game, or any other event down town. I haven't found a dish I don't enjoy. The service is always fast and friendly. It's a little loud on weekends. But hey it's a bar and people are there to have a good time. If you can get a seat on the patio deck upstairs I recommend it. It's a great view and a little quieter. Take my word for it you won't be disappointed at the Green Pig.

We came in for dinner and got a wide variety of menu items - burgers, sandwiches, salads, pretzels... All were totally fine bar food. There are loads of options so if you have a wide range of preferences, it would be good for groups.
There was nothing special about the service, although everything came out timely and our drinks were maintained.
We happened to be there for trivia which was a fun way to pass some time, even just at our table for a laugh.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard N.Bountiful, UT026Apr 20, 2024
Terrible food but the worst thing is that the owner is a cheapskate. If you advertise a price, it should be what was advertised. Charging me more made me so I will never go to that dump again. There are a lot of better bars and restaurants than The Green Pig dump.

Came here from out of state on a Saturday night for a beer and some food and it was PACKED. We decided to risk it and were so glad we did - we were checked on within one minute of sitting in a booth and taken care of consistently throughout the night. On top the amazing service the food was fantastic - can't wait to order the avocado rolls and Buffalo wings again. Thank you again ChiChi for a wonderful night!!!

We were looking for a good spot on a Sunday night and The Green Pig seemed like a great option. Once inside we were very impressed with the rooftop bar but ended up sitting inside the spacious downstairs instead.
The highlight by far was the "Adult Trivia" night that started once we all sat down. We had no idea that SLC would have a trivia game quite like this one. It makes sense they could have a game like this here especially since they scan IDs and no one under 21 is allowed in the establishment. If this is a weekly Sunday night thing, I would highly recommend going! It was a blast and it really brought our group together in a way we never imagined even though it was a work group.
The food was also very good. I loved my angus burger as it was a large patty on a soft ciabatta roll. The sauce that came on the side was also very reminiscent of "Big Mac" sauce and I enjoyed it a lot. The fries also complemented everything well.
This bar also had quite a few drink options that were brought quickly to the table whenever ordered. I went with a locally brewed Alaskan White which I enjoyed a lot. Then I got a few ShockTops just because I wanted a draft instead of all canned beer.
I would definitely come back to the green pig if I was in SLC again. The food was great. The atmosphere was fantastic, and I didn't even get to enjoy the rooftop bar so that will for sure be a next time event!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 2
