If I could rate this place zero stars I would. It's amazing this DUMP is still running. The owners that run this place are the most unprofessional I have ever encountered!!! Your bar is failing for a reason! Sales are crappy because this place is ran like crap!!! LKeeping bartenders that drink on the job and on drugs is only a part of the problem here! They couldn't hire a great bartender and keep them if one slapped them in the face. The bartenders they have there now just look mean and don't even know how to make some simple drinks. They are just pouring liquor away. Maybe if the owners actually "managed" the place instead of just watching on cameras this place wouldn't suck so much! Be warned this place is sketchy! The police are quite familiar with this place because they get called there multiple times a week! How could you ever welcome new guests outside of your regulars to build business when this is the kind of place that's being run? This place is a joke and I would take your money and spend it elsewhere! They dont deserve the support. Maybe if they took the time to read these terrible reviews they could turn this place around.

Ahh the green bar . . . I spent several Sundays this year at the green bar watching football and keeping track of my fantasy teams. Although they have the NFL ticket and many tvs, they were usually limited to 5 games. It was never an issue for me in terms of getting the game I wanted to watch as long as I was able to get there about 10 minutes before kickoff. The staff was always friendly, remembered our drinks, and more often than not had a pitcher waiting at our usual table. There were never more than 10-15 people in the bar which made it more enjoyable to watch the games instead of listening to trash talking and yelling throughout the afternoon. The only downside is this place is stained with smoke. . . what I mean by that is do not wear anything nice there as it will forever smell like smoke, regardless is the place is packed full or has 2 people inside.
Outside of Sunday football, I have been to the bar a couple of times on the weekends. Fridays they usually have a live band and it gets crowded with a diverse mix of people. Generally I would come up here to play darts, at $0.50 they are the cheapest around and most of the time no one is throwing. Again, the smoke kills it for me, because you just cannot get it out of your clothes after leaving so I find myself frequenting other places more often than not. The drinks are well poured, but at time the beer tastes as if it has been sitting in the keg for too long. I would recommend this bar for a laid back and quieter place to watch all the Sunday NFL games, but make sure you are prepared to shower as soon as you get home.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steven D.Fern Park, FL04Mar 15, 2019
I've been to the Green Bar many times (well over 15). The prices are reasonable and for the most part the servers are nice. I've had a couple bad experiences and tonight makes me write this review. The first bad experience was racially involved. A rather friendly "darker skinned" couple was shooting pool... and being on my own I offered to buy them a couple games to be friendly. As the night closed... we at the pool table were told we had to go and the balls on the table were pushed into the pockets (only lighter skinned people were at the bar). When I asked why the customers at the bar were allowed to stay I was told they paid for their drinks. As if we didn't pay for the table... not to mention our drinks? I lingered to find the manager... he approached me and I was told... "Maybe you don't want to come here again?" Not being a bad customer I decided to try again having enjoyed my time there in the past. But... tonight sealed the deal! Having paid after every drink as it was presented at the end of the night I was shown a bill for 3 drinks. I was told I had been drinking and she wasn't like she knew better? Not to cause a scene I quietly threw every dime I had on the table and said I believe I paid for those drinks. Luckily a friendly customer threw 20 bucks on the bar... (leaving an additional 17.50 dollar tip on the 22.50 tab because I put at least 19 bucks out there... that was one heck of a haul for one customer!). The money was scooped up quickly and she shuffled off without another word. After leaving a buck and a quarter tip for every drink that was already paid for was a travesty!.... as I was told as before... maybe you don't want to come here again! You betcha!! This being the second time... you have made this a really easy decision now! My suggestion... run... don't walk from this place!! Read through the rest of Yelps reviews and see what I wish I had seen earlier? One star because you can't post without a star.

I suggest you never come here. If the bartender Brenda doesn't like you she will not serve you. She is the worst bartender in central FL

I met up with some friends for an hour or two Friday night between 10 pm and midnight. They had a dj playing, not too loud, popular pop/hip-hop mix. The crowd got a little sketchy after about 10:30. Some nerdy college kids were there playing pool which was cool, but then some, um, pants on the ground/clothes too tight wearing groups were there "dancing" and were basically having dry humping clothed sex with each other in public. I thought this was a neighborhood bar, not a grimey bump and grind club.
Anywho....
the servers were really friendly. We put money in one of their 6 pool tables only to find there was no que ball. We asked the guy in charge, don't know his name or position but he was the man to see. He looked around frantically for about 5 minutes and then went and sat down to watch football. Thanks, that was helpful.
We finally found a que ball and played one round until we had had enough.
I definitely give this place a star up from the Dirty Bird down the street (Green Parrot) but probably won't be back for a while.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - John A.Casselberry, FL020Apr 23, 2016
Bartenders are great... especially Jerry. Drinks are reasonably priced with a good local crowd. I kinda wish the owner would fix the place up but it's still a great local watering hole. I also like that you can smoke in the bar! Good local business with a friendly staff.

This is by far the dirtiest bar I have ever been too! The bartender who served me was Angela, first of all she didn't ID me when I ordered my first drink (which was weird to me, I'm a bartender myself and ALWAYS ID, especially anyone who looks under 30 and I'm 24) She was very unprofessional and by no means was she friendly/personable! My drinks were $6.50- for my first drink I gave her 10$ and left her the change, for my second drink it was also $6.50, I gave her a $20, she took my money and then proceeded to take and make 3 other orders and drinks before she gave me my change back! While drinking our drinks a bar patron offered to buy me and a coworker a shot, when ordering our shots through Angela he also offered to buy her and the other lady behind the bar a shot, she explained that she couldn't take the shot behind the bar but that she appreciated it and would still take the shot when she was able too and charged him for those 2 extra shots! After about 30 minutes a friend from another restaurant showed up. He ordered my drink for me and she charged me $8.75 for it, and the total check was $23 for both of our drinks- she explained that since my friend had ordered the drink it wasn't under the "ladies night" discount, I told her to simply split the drinks on 2 separate checks and I'll pay for my own drink AGAIN like I had done for my two previous drinks. Angela agreed to split the check then came back with the wrong change for the coworker that ordered my drink and she refused to give him his change back- as she was yelling/cussing about the situation by the service bar where she was making other drinks I respectfully told her that she still owed us money from our tabs she just continued to yell obnoxiously and still refused to give us our change back! She had one guest approach me to "explain" the ladies night policy... another man approached my coworker and explained to him that Angela was his sister (in a threatening manner) she started yelling that I was drunk and needed to leave... my coworker then asked to speak to a manager and Angela told him that "she was the manager" at this point I had 2 drinks... and my 3rd drink that was ordered was still completely full sitting on the bar- We decided to walk out and call the police to explain the situation! (mind you, the same man who approached us to explain him and Angela were brother and sister followed us outside and continued to threaten my coworker) When the police officers arrived they explained that since the "evidence shows" the drinks were rung in on 1 tab when the bartender rung them in that they couldn't do anything.... they also explained to us that "there is a reason why that bar is never busy"... the entire situation was crazy and unnecessary! I never met a bar manager that doesn't ID or that OPENLY tells guest she has to "sneak away from the bar to take a shot" I was just TRYING to enjoy ladies night after a long shift and had to deal with an incompetent, unprofessional and crazy bartender! I will never recommend this place to any of my bar guests or family/friends again, we will stick with the Green Parrot and Spatz for great service and friendly people, and I suggest everyone else do the same! If I had to choose one word to describe this bar and my experience at it I would say SKETCHY... save your money and energy!

I went to the green bar last weekend. i hated it. There were like 6 people inside the bar DURING MNF.
Whats' worse is that the staff is ugly, few, and are not educated in making drinks.
I had asked for a Manhattan. Neither of the two women working knew HOW to make it.
I totally disagree with the above mentioned person, because when this bar was built and shifted owners..it had some good things going for it. From free pool on wednesdays and thursdays to LIVE ROCK on Friday nights. Unfortuneately the closest Rand B clubs closest to this suburb of Orlando have all been shut down...and with this staff as of late, they seem to welcome the laid back and lazy and play lots of slow jams on the jukebox.
WHICH I MUST ADMIT, to have Crazytown available on the BOX is rad!
so thats' why I go. I don't have the heart to tell Connie or his wife or daughter and son that the current staff is why it sucks. Maybe you will.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
