Excellent food, everything was very fresh and so tasty!
Cute little shop near the arts district. Good music as well. Go here!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 4, 2024
Pretty grubbin' good! Kind of a an odd location with not much else around it but only a short walk from Fremont Street so if you're staying downtown, a great lunch spot.
Cool sandwich names and a comic book/ toy themed atmosphere with lots of seating.
I had the Reuben-ish which surprised me a little cuz I thought it'd have both corned beef and pastrami, but nevertheless it was super delicious. I later realized a classic Reuben only has the corned beef. I had it with sliced sour dough instead of the rye and it was dee-lish-ous.
My buddy had the GW Patty Melt which was surprised us cuz it was made with ground beef instead of a patty but we wouldn't have been surprised if we read the menu description!
If I'm in the area I'd definitely eat their food again. Super comfort food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 1136061159Mar 2, 20241 check-in
Great local sandwich place that has really unique vibes. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Right when we got there they were so welcoming and friendly. We got the turkey thyme with a side of harissa tots. The turkey thyme comes with stuffing, turkey, cranberry jam and mayo.
The sandwich is hearty and tasty. I was worried the jam might be too sweet but it was actually nice and tart. They stuffed the turkey in too. The bread was yummy and soft. I probably could have used a little more texture in the sandwich overall but very enjoyable. The tots were probably not harissa flavored but more one note paprika-y. Not bad! Just a little different than expected.
While we were eating, they came out and brought us mini york patties as a small dessert. So nice!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 26, 20241 check-in
It's a nice quaint spot. Order at the counter, then have a seat. I enjoyed looking at the decor, and my BF read the comics.
Food:
#1 G W Patty Melt
Cuban Esque
We opted for chips and side order of sweet and spicy pickles.
The patty melt was a hit, but I should've stuck to my favorite sandwich, Pastrami. Next time, I will definitely get that or the grilled cheese.
Overall, the service was great and the restaurant was clean.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dec 18, 2023Updated review
The Goodwich is a darn good casual sandwich shop located in downtown Las Vegas. They offer a sandwiches, seasonal offerings, a kid's menu, and sides. Some of the sandwich have global touches and it is hard to decide on what to order because they offer so many interesting sandwiches. Inside is rock and roll with lots of superhero comic characters to check out. Outside is a patio.
Last time the fish-o and RU chicken sandwiches were amazing! We also enjoyed the macaroni and cheese....
This time we did take out and sat on the patio. The Turkey Thyme hoagie was generous in size but was very soggy. The stuffing was very wet and almost like a spread. The bottom bun was wet too. 'm guessing that this one is much better to dine in with.
My husband tried the Cuban Esque. Someone accidentally smeared some mayonnaise on it and that ingredient doesn't go on this sandwich. That ingredient also sickens my husband and it is his least favorite ingredient in the world. I told him to go in and show them the sandwich but he didn't want to. He blotted off what he could. He said that the bread was grilled nicely and the meats were very tasty. He thought his sandwich could use a little more meat for his liking.
I recommend dining in here.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0Dec 4, 2023Previous reviewThe Goodwich is a darn great casual sandwich restaurant located in downtown Las Vegas. They offer a sandwich menu, seasonal offerings, a kid's menu, and sides. The menu is American with some global touches. It can be hard to decide on what sandwich to try because they offer so many interesting sounding sandwiches. They also offer an interesting atmosphere filled with comic superheroes, comics, and more with rock and roll tunes playing.
My first sandwich I tried here was the seasonal fish-o sandwich. I got a generously sized sandwich with crispy, mild, meaty, fish enhanced with kimchee tarter, remoulade slaw, and American cheese. It was a very good but messy sandwich......
We also shared the Granny's macaroni and cheese that also was very good and stayed hot the whole time for us.
My husband enjoyed the R-U Chicken sandwich.
It's nice that they also have an outside patio for when the weather is nice. Plenty of parking is nearby too.
They also were very friendly and efficient taking our order.

This place is a true Vegas gem !! It is absolutely so fun in here, a cool place to bring kids with all the comics in here. The environment is very fun and upbeat.
Upon entering the building I was greeted by the sweetest woman who kindly took my order. I was torn between the chille Philly and the Tyme turkey- asked for a recommendation and was advised that the chille Philly was spicy so I decided on the turkey tyme with a side of Mac and cheese.
The food here is truly amazing and one of a kind. The bread is so soft and they are very generous with the sandwiches. The Mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious.
I look forward to returning to this restaurant !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 3, 2023
I had an enjoyable lunch here today. Was looking for a place to eat a fast lunch and been wanting to try this place out. Parking is free if you can get a parking in front of the business. Customer service was friendy and the decorations were super cool. After looking at the menu, I decided on the number three the turkey.BLTA and it was delicious the the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the bacon was cooked just right, the sandwich was stacked just right. I will be back for sure, to try more stuff on their menu.

I love The Goodwich! They have delicious sandwiches that are not your typical sandwich shop offerings.
The shop is really cute with a vintage feel and the staff is really friendly.
My favorite sandwich is the egg salad - but wait - it's not just an egg salad sandwich - it's a "curried egg salad with bacon and potato chips bits egg salad topped with pickled onions" sandwich! It's so good and I crave it quite often. I just can't get there before they close on most days.
My second favorite is their patty melt. It's ground beef with smoked cream cheese, pepper jack, and onions all griddled up together on marble rye. It is perfect for when I am hungrier because it definitely is a hearty one.
I definitely recommend giving them a try even if you are more into "classic" sandwiches. I'm sure you'll find something and may even surprise yourself.
They have sweets and beer too - in case you were wondering.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Erinn C.Centennial, Las Vegas, NV01723Jan 3, 2024
I came here the first time I visited Vegas back in April and had to come back when I officially moved in. Their sandwiches are hearty, cheesy, and perfectly toasted. The cheese pull, I mean, just look at it! Service is quick and the store is honestly one of the most decorated ones I've seen--filled with comics and figures. Pretty cool place to sit in while you're waiting for your food.
I would definitely come here if you're looking for something heavier that caters to your tastebuds.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
