Great food. Slow service. Come in and expect great food, but bring a book or a good friend to fill the time.

Does anyone know the lady who started the good lunch? Id like to talk with her, if possible.

Can a name get any better? Truly, The Good Lunch is a must-stop-sando-shop each time I make the drive from Portland to Seattle, and it's just that... a really really good lunch!

Tucked away behind a gas station off 1-5's exit 82, you'll be in for a treat of a daily soup selection, delicious sandwiches, salads, and to-die-for desserts like pies, cookies, cakes and sweet breads. Sit up at the bar and chat with the sweet ladies who make all of it fresh daily. In a sea of fast food options, The Good Lunch saves the day. Yesssssss!

This is a nice quiet place to have a tasty lunch. I went there yesterday with my grandmother and we each got a sandwich. They feature a great soup of the day; yesterday's soup was chicken gumbo. My grandma said it was delicious. I had the veggie sandwich- a combination of unlikely ingredients including cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, cranberries, and pickles! I was unsure at first whether or not I'd like it but I did. The only thing that could have been better was the bread. I think they use store-bought. I enjoy the bakery fresh bread more but beggars can't be choosers, especially in Centralia... I really liked the quiet atmosphere and good food.

When you finish eating you can cross over into the other half of the store and do some shopping as it shares a building with an antique/country themed gift store. It was a pleasant place to enjoy an afternoon.

Oh yeah, and it is sort of hidden behind the am/pm on Harrison so you'll find the parking behind the building.

Neat little place with a simple menu that satifies a hungry traveler. The oatmeal pie was to die for. Awesome and hand made by the owner - something you rarely see.

Should be called the great lunch. Love the hawaiian chicken salad. I always get it, i want to try something else, but it's so good, i can't make myself order something else. The homemade desserts are wonderful. Great place to meet a friend for lunch.
