I'm not athletic. And whenever I take lessons for sports of any kind, I always dread going to lessons. I hate having to face my coach and shamefully admit I didn't get out and practice at all, week after week... I know, I know. I'm THAT student.
But this time...it was different.
I checked out the Golf Stop and opted for the youth package: 4 lessons for $100, scheduled at your convenience. The resident golf instructor is Ken Leland, one of my favorite people I've met this entire summer. He's very clear and easy to understand and a fantastic coach, no matter what level of experience you have. I had fun at lessons and even looked forward to them! I even looked forward to getting out to the driving range to practice! Seriously, that's a BIG deal. As a complete beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The Golf Stop itself is full of experts who are always ready to answer questions, give a tip, or help you find the perfect club. It also plays popular country music....an odd quirk, but just another one of the many reasons why I love the place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
