I've got to say, this is the best place to go out to and eat in Rockland County! its a MUST if your in the area and craving some top quality grilled food. You can sit here and argue with me all day that 5guys is better... when in fact many of us who have tried TFS and know top quality food, we know it's quite the opposite, because TFS is all about top quality.

I always said "Quality over Quantity." And this place definitely has Quality! The burger patties are ALWAYS fresh and on point. They are way better than the ones we make at home. The meat is always fresh!!!
And Their chicken sandwiches are simply the best!!! The freshest chicken you'll always have! The cooking is always to Perfection!

The service is always fantastic. The Staff is the best!!! Always super friendly, cool and down to earth, They always ask questions And make sure you get exactly what you're looking for.
Over all the environment is super friendly and super chill. There are plenty of tables to sit at and in the summer all doors are open which makes you feel like you really are at home just chillin out in your own backyard Or garage. Bring a couple of friends and the backyard grill party is all set!!! You guys will all have a great time!!!

Did I mention how great The food was?? First time I took a bite into their grilled chicken sandwich I literally almost cried make sure you try out their awesome sauce/s! They got a few to choose from.
There is also plenty to choose from their awesome menu.

Over all, a must visit!!! Forget about McD's Wendy's and all these other fast food chain restaurants.. I wouldn't even call this place fast food, because they take their time with it to make sure its always Always ALWAYS consistently great! these guys got the REAL Q for Quality!

Really was looking forward to a juicy nice burger but was let down today. Burger was way over done and dry out no taste. Bun over toasted and hard. Fries were over salted and soggy. Cook seemed didn't want to be there . This place can be a gold mine if owners stayed on top of it.

Mixed about this place. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes I get a very well seasoned burger and sometimes it tastes like it's without salt. It's always a very sizable patty and filling. Usual toppings are free but $1.50 for grilled onions?! Anything from the normal lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and raw onions is $1.50 each. It's just really expensive and you'll pay half price at Five Guys plus get any free toppings.

Fries are thin but good so long as they're hot. It's like an extremely skinny and short cut version of Five Guys fries. You only get a free dipping sauce with a large fry. Otherwise, you must buy sauces. The bathroom needs attention. Table and chairs need regular cleaning after guests leave, especially the outdoor seating. The fan, ceiling and other decor are loaded with dust and grease.

Just kind of yelped best burgers in the area on a long drive and stopped into this place. Was not disappointed, reminded me of the sort of amazing road side burgers you get out west. Super juicy and more fires than you could eat.

Such a cool spot, and cool idea. Sort of an old motor shop turned burger joint, definitely worth checking out.

This is no fast food hamburger place. The burgers are amazing high quality at a reasonable price. It's like a time machine back to the 1960s.

The absolute best burger place in Rockland county. Awesome selection of burgers and sandwiches. The french fries and fried pickles are awesome. Great beers and the service is top-notch. I love this place.

I can't believe I have never been here before. I guess cause it looks like an old gas station, I must have driven right passed it. Today I stopped for lunch because it was the first thing that came up on my GPS (that's how I roll sometimes). I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life ... and I'm 58 years old and I've eaten MANY burgers in MANY places. It was soooo good. My pic does not do it justice. I should have taken another angle! It had cheese, mushrooms, onions and bacon. It was perfect. The fries were delicious too. (I had them put cheese on my fries). Service was very friendly too and the interior is cool and inviting. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

I've eaten a lot of burgers (beef, bison, turkey, and veggie), and many of them have been tasty. But we are HUGE fans of TFS, and when we move, it's going to be one of the few things we miss around here. We love the people who work here. They're kind, funny, and somehow both laid-back and attentive. They use Beyond burgers for veg, and they can dress them the same as any of the signature sandwiches. They have a smaller size burger (the Grease Monkey) that works for my MIL, because she eats like a bird, but also have delicious hotdogs--some of the best I've ever tasted--that you can have homemade sauerkraut on, and wow, is it good. Fries are also amazing--peels on, well cooked--with an assortment of sauces available (we like spicy ketchup). For onion rings, like every other place I've been, the servings are not as generous as the fries, but the rings are so delicious, I don't care. The only things we've not tried here are the various chicken things and the ice cream. I couldn't care less about the chicken, although I'm sure it's good, but I do seriously regret not having the ice cream (Jane's Ice Cream in Kingston, NY). Problem is, by the time we get through the sandwiches and fries, we're just too full. The actual filling stations in which the two restaurants are located are fun and seem perfectly adapted to serving fab burgers. Man, am I going to miss them. If I could pack them in a box and take them with us, I'd be getting the tape now.

Love it!! The firebird and a side of sweet potato fries are always a win for me .... Well cooked and very flavorful. The staff is on point nice people. You can sit outside or indoors. Having TFS is great in Rockland!

I'm driving along minding my own business after going to the Tractor Supply Store (see Yelp review) and I see this sign (see pic) that says "voted best burger in the Hudson Valley 2017, 2018 and 2019"

Hey, I say to myself - "they can't make that claim,

I didn't get to vote. "

So I pull into this old fashion garage with real garage doors, funky metal cabinets and a chalk board and I order a cheeseburger medium with pepper jack ($6.95) + small fries ($3.50) and then I see they have draft beer in 16 oz mason jars and I best get one of those for $7 - a Fat Tire Ale.

Everything is cooked to order (this ain't Mickey Ds) and 10 minutes later a counter guy brings me out an old, but clean stainless steel tray with my meal.

So how was it?

Burger: the 6 oz burger was made with fresh chop meat and cooked perfectly to medium on an Untoasted sesamE bun. A little salty - they use kosher rock salt but overall an excellent burger.

Fries- for $3.50 they gave me a crap load of fresh hand cut shoestring fries that were fabulous except for too much rock salt. Probably one of the best fries I've ever had.

The beer was a full 16 oz pour not one of 13 oz faux pint glasses you get at a bar. Ice cold.

So why no 5th star? I wish they would offer a burger and fries special with fewer fries for $10 flat. Also, next time I'll ask them to hold the kosher salt on the burger and the fries

Lastly, there is a picture of the beer taps on this site that says $3-$5 for beer. Inflation- but I did think the current price of $7 was a dollar to high.

Best burger in the Hudson Valley - perhaps yes, but let them take on Westchester.
