We really enjoy our experience at Faded Rose. The food was wonderful and there was a cool little patio area in the font. We had a couple of appetizers and a grilled chicken salad. The salad was huge and the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy...best of all they have a few AHHH-mazing house made dressings to choose from. My only complaint is the lack of cocktails to choose from. This is definitely the type of place that should carry atleast a few signature cocktails. Overall, great food, great service, great time.

Faded Rose is a Little Rock tradition. Hadn't been there in almost a decade and we are so glad we went back! It was just as good, if not better, than we remembered

Casual place, open on Mondays which helped. Service was very good and very accommodating cuz we had some kiddos with us.
The bread was... not very upscale. It was like two thick breadsticks from a cafeteria. The kids liked it lol
We got the Cajun popcorn which is like popcorn chicken only crawfish and it was very good and addictive. Very enjoyable. Then each meal came with soup or salad and I got rice and beans and it was better than I expected it to be. It was a pleasant surprise. Others in the party mentioned how much vinegar was on the salad. Then I got shrimp kbob with a baked potato. The baked potato wasn't great, no salt, some of the inside was a little black and everything was bland. The shrimp and peppers were good quality but definitely overseasoned. They were out of the marinara sauce for the kids menu.
Overall it was fine but I would maybe have ordered something else if I were returning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 10, 2024
This is your New Orleans restaurant for Little Rock. It was a relief to see a place that isn't afraid of spice. Every dish we had packed some heat. The gumbo was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were okay. The crab cakes were good, but I prefer a more crab forward crab cake. I would eat there again, especially the gumbo.

Quick stop for lunch, had the red fish lunch special with crawfish rice and grilled vegetables. So filling and very delicious!

The Faded Rose is incredible! The fried green tomatoes are fantastic, the blackened red fish is insane, the gumbo is perfect, and the bread pudding is....NUTS!
Our server was even sweet enough to make some sweet tea for my buddy & I. If you are passing through, or you live in, Little Rock, don't miss the Faded Rose!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 22, 2023
4.5, rounded up.
We came on a Saturday evening and waited about 40 minutes to be sat. Our server was quick after being sat! She brought us some fresh bread and thanked us for our patience :) she did a phenomenal job! We waited quite some time for our food, but honestly we didn't mind. Especially
Fried green tomatoes -- cooked to absolute perfection. I wish they would have been more generous with the tomato slices as there were only 4 small slices, but it is what it is. It comes served with four shrimp and the most decadent remoulade on top. I wanted so much more of that sauce!
Fried Oyster PoBoy -- oh, was this delicious! The bread was PERFECTION. The oysters were slightly over cooked, but still proper delicious. The fries are soft and for me, cooked just right. The others in my party didn't appreciate them as much, wishing they were crispier. They were completely unsalted though, which was not my favorite.
Soft Shell Crab PoBoy -- holy cow was this good! I took a bite and instantly wanted more of it.
Rage-in Cajun Burger -- while I didn't take a bite, the three that did could NOT stop raving about it.
Famous Fries -- unsalted and seasonless, honestly super underwhelming but the actual potato was cooked perfectly and was light and fluffy. It honestly was like a baked potato.
The others in our party got gumbo (lacked salt) and red beans and rice (lacked salt) but otherwise were pretty good.
Ultimately, worth the visit!Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 22, 2023
I've been to N'rleans, had po boys in plenty of whole in the walls, and this fried oyster po boy meets the criterion for creole goodness. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fried oysters were perfectly seasoned. The pickles were delicious, but the star of the show was the remolaude - I ordered a side and it was awesome to add more to the sandwich and the fries. My son had the ragin Cajun burger, I had a bite, and wanted more! We also had the red beans and rice, and while I felt it lacked salt, the rest of table enjoyed it. Service was solid, waitress was kind and efficient. As a visitor to Little Rock, I didn't expect to have creole this delicious!

We had dinner here last Saturday night and had a great time! Wait time for a table of 4 was only 25 minutes. The service was wonderful and we really enjoyed our food. I had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing! My husband had the 9th Ward hamburger steak and love it. We love everything NOLA, so we loved the decor and the atmosphere was lively and fun! Will definitely be back.

OMG! Sorry for being so dramatic, but the food is really good. The sauce is very flavorful and each dish has its own unique taste. We ordered the shrimp tchoupitoulas, tilapia meunière, and grilled redfish pontchartrain. I am glad we overate! Every piece of shrimp, fish and seafood is so worth it!

Best fried shrimp in the state. Get the tchoupitoulas appetizer (pronounced chop-a-toola) it's shrimp in garlic butter mushroom sauce over French bread pieces and it's delish. Always busy but worth the wait when there is one. Casual and comfortable, it's a very poplular established restaurant that's been there for 40 years.
