By far my favorite restaurant ever. & my family's favorite too!
Always a great experience from start to finish.
Everyone there is extremely nice and polite.
They start you off with their amazing garlic cheese bread. Seriously people it is the best.
I've been here a million times and I've always ordered the Derby Delight. Absolutely delicious.
Our favorite server there is Will. Very attentive and has a great personality!

Garlic bread, garlic bread, garlic bread.

I can't stress it enough. It's my favorite there, and almost forget about this incredible garlicky perk because I always dream about the prime rib here. Huge cuts and never disappoints. I had the asparagus side and they were ginormous, I was SO pleased. It has an old time-y feel with fireplaces sprinkled throughout the restaurant, which always makes me smile bc it's so unnecessary but so great for the ambiance of coziness. Service has always been top notch here, no complaints!

I heard they were moving and had to visit before they did. There's just so much nostalgia here. I love the ambiance.

I haven't been in over 20 years and the food did not disappoint! From the garlic cheese toast, the drinks to our main course ... everything was fantastic.

I ordered the bacon wrapped filet and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Not sure when they are moving as I forgot to ask, but I'm glad we got to stop in just to check out the memorabilia. I hope they don't change too much in their new location!!

The decor was antique, and in excellent condition considering how long it's been established, great Easter menu.
Our Waiter was nice and attentive
Unfortunately the server assistant did not know who ordered what my plate was given to my daughter, and at the end We found out the pain pancakes given to my daughter instead of my fiancé other than that it was great food was delicious and plenty.
Overall it was a great Easter Brunch.

It's been too long since my last visit to the Derby, which is an iconic restaurant in Arcadia. It was established in 1922, and has been at its current location since 1931.

The ambiance of this classic steakhouse was evident from the moment we stepped inside. The waiting area has several pictures and memorabilia lining the walls. Several newspapers articles were framed, which told the story and history through the decades.

The service was superb from the hostess, Stephanie, to our server (Jeffrey, I referred to him as Jeremy by mistake in the video).

We were served complimentary garlic cheese bread, which was addicting!! Our group ordered the Seabass, Rosemary Chicken and mouthwatering Prime Rib. Side dish options include baked potato, fries, rice, vegetables, or my favorite cheesy potato Ramonoff.

The dessert, was amazing!! We had the fabulous Baked Alaska, which was lit and served tableside. It was a spectacular show! It won't be long before I return again. It was definitely a night to remember.

They are closed on Monday, open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and lunch on Thursday and Friday only. Book your reservations in advance on the Open Table app, or by calling the restaurant directly.

Great service, ambiance, clean and best of all, it's a landmark. But the restaurant is soon going away to another location. We've visited many times in the past and had a Step Brother theme birthday there for our dear friend. We will miss coming back.

We chose to celebrate my daughter's birthday here and they sure made it special! They had a birthday sign for her on the table. Then there was a treat (chocolate chip cookies) box given at the end of the meal. Then, our server surprised us with a complimentary flaming ice cream dessert topped with melted marshmallows. We were blown away by their excellent service and attention to details. They went out of their way to make us feel special.

For those of you who are not familiar with The Derby, it's an iconic and local Arcadia steakhouse that has been around for 102 years! Yes. The restaurant is more than a century old. The decor is dark wood, maroon colored leather booths and horse-racing theme to honor the Santa Anita Race tracks. The founder was a jokey and hence the race horse pictures throughout the restaurant.

We ordered the following and they were all delicious:

1. Jumbo lump crab cakes
2. Iceberg wedge salad
3. Cesar salad
4. Bacon wrapped filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes (so delicious)
5. The Mike Smith - 20oz Prime Bone-in Ribeye (excellent !)
6. Chilean sea bass
7. Black truffle Mac-n-cheese
8. Grilled cheese sandwich with fries

All the food was well-prepared. The seasoning was a bit on the salty side for me but not for my party. There was also complimentary cheese bread for the table. If you are a local resident or someone who likes to experience fine dining in a traditional restaurant rich in race-horsing history, look no further than The Derby! It's always a treat to dine at The Derby. It's loved by the local residents and many others. I am glad they had maintained their quality over the years. A 5 start restaurant in every way!
