The Clark Store

We love the Clark Store! Great place to eat breakfast or lunch, grab a few groceries, buy some liquor/bait, use the post office or get ice cream in the summer. They have it all and the best views!

We stopped here based on the Yelp reviews. How this place gets great reviews is a mystery to me. I ordered a prime rib sandwich which was filled with more fat than meat. It came with a side. I selected the potato salad as my side. It was tasteless. I mean literally completely tasteless. Probably the worst potato salad I have ever had. Not a place I would recommend. However, if you insist on stopping in for a meal do NOT order what I ordered.

I rented a cabin a few miles from the store and decided to stop in for breakfast. I had the steak breakfast plate which was ok. Otherwise than that the only thing that i have to say about this business is that it is a good place in the middle of nowhere if you are looking for some supplies or and warm meal. They have a few tables inside to eat at as well.

super sweet little store with an amazing ice cream shop out front and a fire oven pizza area too! the view of the mountains in the outdoor seating area is awesome! the kids that run the ice cream shop sweet too i've never been called ma'am by a preteen till now LOL it's a very wholesome spot that's a gem and will forever be a sweet place in my memory when i go back home to chicago

We never come to steamboat without stopping by the Clark store for a sandwich and a bottle of hot bbq sauce to take back to Denver. The Buffalo wrap is amazing. The French dip is great. Can't go wrong with a burger. Wish they had more indoor seating but overall this is a hidden gem

A have to see one of kind store. They have everything you need to enjoy North Routt.

It doesn't have a lot of selection, but the prices are good considering that it's pretty out there. Normally, the prices will be very high, but they have it under control. The staff was helpful and moved the line right along. The store parking lot is quite large, so there isn't a parking problem and the bathrooms are kept clean. If you are ever by this way then stop on by for a cold drink and some snacks.

Delicious, fast and fresh meals from their deli. I highly recommend! Husband had a blackened prime rib sandwich and I had a giant salad. We would order both again!

Good place to get a few items without heading back to Steamboat Springs. Stephan was extremely helpful... thank you. The liquor selection is vast, they have a bit of everything of necessity.

I'd pass it by. There are other options up by the lake with much friendlier service.

Rude staff and long lines. I waited in line for 20 min to get a fishing license. Got to the front, the guy there then had me wait so he could go get change to restock the drawers. No problem at all. When I asked for the fishing license I was told that I would have to wait until he helped everyone else.

When I said that I had already waited in line for the right to purchase my fishing license, he said to go up to the visitor center. because they don't make money off of fishing licenses.

Dude, not the point. I get 3 days off the entire freaking summer, and you can't take 5 minutes to sell me a fishing license? I have to drive all the way back up to the lake to get it, which doesn't seem like much, 10 min up, 10 min back. But add the 20 min in line, 5 min requesting the license and getting told to wait another amount of time. Then the fact that I drove 10 min to get there. I know it's not your vacation man, but it was mine. I won't be a patron at the good ol clark store ever again.
