This is the perfect place to go to come closer to Jesus Christ. The congregation members are friendly and warm. There are multiple meeting times. This church is inclusive and kind to everyone.

We absolutely love going to church here. Wonderful people, supportive community, good spirit and a helpful environment to teach our children and help us grow closer to God.

My family and I just moved to the area last year and we have truly found a home in this church. As soon as we moved in with our baby, people invited us over to their houses for dinner and started inviting us to activities. My husband even started going to play basketball on Saturday mornings in the gym at the church building. Since then, we have met so many kind friends from attending church here.
We love how this church teaches us not only about "churchy" stuff, but also how to be a better person every day of the week, not just on Sundays. One nice thing about this church is that it's two hours long--the first hour is for everyone to be all together in the main chapel. There are sermons from teenagers and women and men who are all regular members of the congregation, which are usually pretty authentic and interesting. Then, during the second hour, they split the kids up by age group and have songs and activities just for them while the parents and teens have Bible study classes. Each week is something completely new, and we love how happy and peaceful we feel going to this church.
We are so happy to have found this congregation and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a church in this area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachel M.Vienna, VA014Mar 5, 2017
This congregation of people is simply the best I've been able to be a part of. I moved in two years ago a week before having a baby. I had meals at my door and offers to help us settle in and now I have friends for a lifetime. They have people of all ages, mostly families with a lot of kids from infant to preschool, school age, and teen. They have also been running a co-op preschool (where you take turns teaching in your home) for many years. We have enjoyed it for two years- in the 4-5 year old class, and now in the 3-4 year old class.
You will learn the same teachings at every Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Most all of them in this area have a lot of members and a warm, heartfelt atmosphere. They have a service for families, then split into adults and children, then the last hour is divided into women, men, and children so the messages are tailored closely to the needs of the individual.
And really, the individual relationship is all that really matters right? The Individual strengthening their relationship with God. This atmosphere and teachings have been so helpful in doing that for me.
We are military so we move around a lot and see a lot in the world. This summer we will move again, but the happy experiences I've had with this congregation will stick with me forever.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - C W.Upper Marlboro, MD20312715May 24, 2014First to Review
We just moved from Boston and started attending this congregation. WOW! What a great church. We went to the Vienna "Ward" (ward is what they call congregations) and found that there were a million kids of all ages. Seriously, if the kids were smart and organized they could easily overthrow the adults running the show. There was a musical number by some young woman (14 and older) and it was like 25 girls.
There is some sort of magic to this place that we can already tell after two visits. We have 3 kids and they found great friends and fit in on our first visit. I have been really impressed by this church, the people in this congregation are amazingly kind and friendly.
As far as the sermons go, each week different members of the church volunteer to provide the sermon. They can be surprisingly authentic as being a minister is not anyone's full time job in the congregation. Church is a place for sinners--not saints. While our family fit in well, I'm quite sure that most anyone would be welcomed into this church.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
