This has been my favorite spot so far on our trip to Baton Rouge. Coleman took GREAT care of us during our visit to the The Bulldog! He made me one of the best margs I've ever had! They also have a huge beer selection. The food is pretty standard bar food which was exactly what we were looking for. The Amber Fries were our favorite. Highly recommend!

Drink here, but don't eat here. The drink service was good. We opened a tab and were able to order from a good selection of beer. However, don't expect much from the food. You have to order your food from a hole in the wall where they take your order. We went during happy hour and they were under staffed. We ordered wings and they were comically small; like they were quail size wings. Not a good experience. Thankfully we were able to drink enough to overcome how bad the food was.

The '4 cheese' grilled cheese is just cheddar(menu says Fontina, goat, cheddar and Parmesan) on white bread NOT sour dough. Highly disappointed. The works burger was a frozen patty with microwave bacon. Do not recommend. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is the very large tap list.

An after work go to place for me! Great beer selection and on Wednesdays you can take your pint glass home with you. I also love that this bar allows you to bring in your dogs!
Almost every time I come here I end up sitting outside. The patio is great and has lots of space, so you aren't on top of the table next to you. It's a very 'chill' vibe here with space heaters and a fireplace set up too.
I got the chips and queso this time, and it was ok. I wish the queso was filled to the top of the bowl, and the chips were stale, but it was still somehow good! I like how they have a kitchen window, and a full menu of so many options!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Michael M.Central Business District, New Orleans, LA106798Mar 10, 2024
The place looks really nice but I was very unhappy with what we got. We ordered the wing combo package which comes with "any fries you want" according to the menu so I asked for cheese fries and was charged an additional order of loaded cheese fries in addition to the combo. The wings were the smallest skimpy wings I've ever seen. My thumb was bigger than the drumsticks and I have small hands! The bartender was nice but didn't behave as such while doing his job. He poured the bare minimum. He measured every pour and gave less than the minimum. The loaded fries and Spinach Artichoke dip were decent although the chips to dip ratio was way off. We found this place passing thru Batom rouge and were debating between here and Phil's seafood, we should have chosen Phil's.

What a fantastic place to grab a beer. Excellent selection, knowledgeable bar staff. Meh food but it's really an afterthought. Comfortable seating inside and out. You can also bring your dog

One of the best places to drink and watch the games in all of Baton Rouge!! Great happy hour and quality food selection. Lots of beer on tap and bar tenders are friendly and attentive!! Cool place you can even bring your dog to hang out.

Mid... overpriced, lack of customer service, reeks of smoke, food portion is small. If you're just looking for drinks I'm sure it's fine, an actual meal... nah
