Made in Muncie Pottery is a great activity when weather isn't great. It could be for kids, dates, small or large groups.
We rented a room upstairs for $50 and had about 10 "moms and daughters". This required a reservation. Other tables downstairs could seat couples up to 8 people.
We had fortunately done this before and knew what to expect. Others who hadn't could have used more direction from the employee.
You pick your naked pieces ranging from $5-$100 depending on size and what you get. The cup pictured was $25, the star was $15 and each ordament was $6. This includes your paint and firing the pieces.
You pick out 9-12 colors and paint each piece with 3 coats and they take care of the rest. Our pieces were ready for pick up 5 days later.
With the room reservation we were allowed to bring in whatever we wanted for food /drink and people could pick out whatever pieces they wanted.
When looking at reserving space in Muncie to host an indoor event this is a good space considering you can bring in your own food/drinks.
There are birthday party packages to keep budget friendly pieces for each child.
All in all, it was a great experience. My daughter is 5 years old and it took about 2 hours before she lost interest.

Greetings---I am a six year native to Muncie. There have been times when I've ventured out & walked into this one of a kind unique shoppe. This is a definite "creative outlet for anyone's soul." An experience, if you will that will nest in your memory for years to come. Plus, you'll take your individual piece of art with you. Perhaps to give as a gift or keep as a personal memento. With that, I recommend & challenge anyone who is a novice or an expert to bring their imagination and stir up your creative juices to an overflowing of fun, relaxation & friendship. I can't wait until I am ready to meet my own challenge in the new year 2021. Peace, Love & Painting!

My mom and I spent a rainy afternoon in this adorable shop and cannot wait to go back. We had such a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in. Both people working promptly greeted us and asked if it was our first time visiting. We told her it was and she was extremely helpful explaining the process. We both chose matching pieces from the Made in Muncie collection. They were well made and intricate. We aren't from Muncie and asked about a good place for coffee. The woman who helped us recommended the Coffee shop down the street and it was some of the best we've had. It's so refreshing to be "treated like family" and not just a number. You can tell the artists really care and the trendy vibe is on point. I also love the way the pricing is structured. Everything was up front with no hidden costs or fees. We will definitely recommend Made in Muncie to our friends and family and most likely spend our next girls day out here, too!!!

My 16 year old son and I were looking for something to do while here visiting family. This place was so awesome! We didn't get finished with our crafts before closing, so they sent us home with paints and brushes to finish and then allowed us to bring them back for firing. AWESOME PEOPLE AND AN AWESOME SHOP!!!

      Awesome place!

You have a choice of ceramics to paint. They fire them in the kiln and you pick it up a week later.

They have a variety of items to choose from. From plates to mugs, piggy banks to magnets, and a bunch of colors to choose from. Their paint is all food safe, so if you do paint a plate or cup, you can use it!

Things are price from $5 to about $20 and up. They have a small art gallery and you can buy art pieces from local artists.

They also have a room for parties! The staff is helpful and it's a relaxed and fun atmosphere. My children had a lot of fun.
