First time trying the Thai in here and I may say its good, the soup that we had is also yummy, we ask for mushroom, veggies and tofu only since we don't really like meat and not craving for seafood as well.
It tasted really good and fresh, we finish the entire soup
We also ordered:
- Thai Fried Rice with Tofu for my husband and it tasted good, it has broccoli too and other veggies. The amount is too big for us so we had it to go as well.
- Egg Fried Rice for me, and it's also tasty. I like the veggies they had for the fried rice.
I really want to try their wonton and also the spring roll, but I'm just too full for it.
The service is good, their really friendly and they serves really fast.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Helen O.Tracy, CA2100294Oct 7, 2018
First time to try this place. I went there around 2:45 pm and it was empty. The prices are higher than other places for lunch special.
I ordered chicken pad Thai (regular order) not lunch special. I believe it was $10.95 while lunch special is 9.95 and you get salad and spring roll.
When I got my order, the container was a 3 partition container. So it made it look like they gave you a lot but not really. The noodles has the pad Thai flavor but the chicken is so bland and hard and dry. Didn't have that much veggies and they forgot the ground peanuts and lime that most restaurants put on top of it. I don't think I'll ever go there again. For that price, they should have some tender flavorful pieces of chicken and had more green onions or scallions.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ravi C.Peachtree City, GA105321Sep 28, 2018
My mom and I visited this place after moving from California 11 years ago. She used to come here in the 90's when it was called "Thairama" and she returned particularly for the tom yom goong soup. She said it's just as excellent as it was back then.
We shared some rice noodle spring rolls and I had red curry with tofu. It was a bit sweet, and I asked for extra spicy, but it was still great. I don't have a picture of the soup, but everything looked great.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Joshua R.Anaheim, CA17336Apr 28, 2018
I came in not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The Pad Thai had a big portion size and was very flavorful, the waitresses were attentive, and the wait time was not long at all.
I definitely plan on coming back to explore the rest of their menu.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kim H.Corona, CA2111Apr 24, 2018
I just picked my to go order from thailandia and I'm so so disappointed.
Yelp says they open at 11 so I called in at about 11:05 am and had to call 3 times before they answered, not a huge deal because I know sometimes things happen during the opening process.
I ordered 2 pad see eews w / chicken Lunch combos and Tom sum yu soup. It took 5 minutes for them to process the order because the first woman who answered couldn't understand me and then kept stopping to speak to another employee and then back to me.
They tell me 15 min so i send my sister and she returns 40 min later with 1 pad see ew and one tomm yum soup.
I called to let then know they charged me for 2 pad see ewss and they said ok and apologized and I could pick it up in 15. Five min later I have two missed calls because they called me to confirm I wanted another pad see ewww -_____-
Now besides all this if the food was good I would be available to forgive all it but it's not good at all
Tom yum soup has flavor but it is not Tom yum soup. No lemon grass at all. It has regular mushrooms, not heirloom, no basil or onion or anything you would find in a traditional Tom yum BUT I would order it again because it was flavorful and 6.50 for a LARGE tub full.
Pad see ew was awful. Made with frozen regular broccoli and not brocollini. Had CUCUMBER and an overeasy/burnt egg on top.
Thai iced tea is sweet like simple syrup.
Avoid and try Thai corner in la habra! Or heck even the pad see ew from capital noodle bar in brea!
This is the furthest thing from good Thai food that I have had in the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Toni R.Placentia, CA81199235Feb 7, 2018
If you want the best THAI food in OC this is the place to be. It's one of those hidden gems hidden in the corner of a plaza.
The food here is very flavorful, inexpensive and they give a good amount/portion. The staff are very attentive nice and always checking on customers. Definitely try out their lunch specials 11a-3p!
I love their pad thai. Comes with egg roll, cream cheese wonton & salad with an amazing dressing! Also their chicken is very tender and with just the right flavor.
This place is worth the $ and the food portion is good!
It's often overlooked because the location is hidden.
It's right next to 99 cent store.
But give this place a try it's amazing here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 291264680Aug 13, 2017
I really wanted to like this place but the food was just straight cold. I got cashew chicken with alittle spice and the flavor was good but sad it was cold. Also I've never been to a restaurant where they don't serve you but they want a tip.the upside the restaurant was clean and a good price for the amount of food you get .

Nope. No thanks. Wont be returning here... Not worth my $50.
I think I saw some reviews say that the service was great??? was i at the same place? Because these were probably the two single rudest people I have run accross in a restaraunt... ever. I wont get into too much detail, but when you ask the server for the plate of spices and her reply is "yeh i guess so" you know she is not so happy you are there... spending money in her establishment, when there are thousands of other places who will be. not okay!
my daughter and her boyfriend thought it was hilarious how rhe older asian kept yelling and arguing at the younger one with out regards to us being there and not acknowledging our level of discomfort. i just founf it rude and annoying.
the group at the table near us (and the only other people in the restaurant) walked out of the place... (maybe they knew something i didnt - and i probably should have followed suit)
finally the food... oh yeah almost forgot about the food. first... what thai restauant doesnt have chicken skewers with peanut sauce? is that even possible? but getting past that, the flavor itself was decent... if you can get past the chewy rubber-like texture of the noodles.... this will go down in history as the first time ever i didnt finish... or bring home a take home box. i actually left the take out box in a cart of a homeless man so he can have something to eat... although now im feeling bvad i did so.... hope he was okay after eating from here....Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2017
Decided to come here and order some food for take-out. I called an order over the phone and it was ready in less than 10 minutes! The lady in front was so sweet and kind.
The pad see ew, fried rice, and the crispy basil chicken were all amazing. The standout was definitely the crispy basil chicken. It was loaded with tons of flavor and so so delicious!
This restaurant is located in the back corner of a huge plaza with a Big Lots. I will be back to try more!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jonathan K.Los Angeles, CA359258Jul 8, 2018
I used to enjoy going to this place but I have two give this place two stars for two reasons:
1. The AC was not on on a day that was over 100 degrees outside. I wasn't the only one complaining. Other customers were complaining and commenting too. It definitely was a Thailand experience.
2. The green curry was terrible. It tasted like lime curry.
If these two things are fixed then I'd definitely come back. Until then, banana bay it is.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0
