One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Central Jersey/East Brunswick/Spotswood area. For some amazing pure ethnic goodness.
Consistently exceptional product time & time again and I've dined here dozens of times. The spring rolls are perfect and always made to order. Their Tom Yum soup is a sinus clearing experience so If you dig heat then bring your sun glasses. Small portioned lunch menu $8 with dinner prices are all in the $10 plus range. Wonderful variety of seafood with a squid emphasis along w/ tasty duck dishes. I've tried too many plates to name but can honestly say I've always gladly licked my lips after every meal. Tea bags.
Good service, English speaking and clean. Comforting Thai decor with plenty of seats. BYOB bonus! And right next to Pink nails for that quick manny & petty lol. This has and will continue to be my Thai spy, so please try.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 7, 2012
Change in status - there is a Sheriff's sign on the door and they are closed. VERY sad as the food was good and were local.
Seems that they were not able to have additional help, could not take credit cards and were never able to advertise.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 2014
Great for vegetarians. There is a great selection, the food is delicious and the service is pleasant. They have a lot of vegetarian options and even substituted vegetarian duck for regular duck in a dish because my daughter wanted that sauce. Very accommodating. Even my super picky son likes it.
The pad Thai is different from others I've had but it is delicious!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lorraine P.East Brunswick, NJ1411517Sep 7, 2014
WATCH OUT, I THINK THEY'VE CLOSED, CALL FIRST.
I liked this restaurant, but I bet they closed due to weird hours and having their credit card machine broken half the time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Abraham T.Collingswood, NJ029Jun 29, 2013
BOTTOM LINE: Thai chili is a New Jersey gem! If you like authentic Thai food or ethnic cuisine, and you aren't afraid to let the kitchen work its magic in all its spicy glory, then you will not find a better Thai restaurant in New Jersey.
I am fortunate to have discovered this amazing and authentic Thai restaurant, because I live around the corner. Otherwise, I would not have looked twice at this small, hidden establishment. I'm glad I did, because I have enjoyed every dish I've had there. Moreover, the service is pleasant, the décor is quaint and quiet, and it is a BYOB.
MUST TRY DISHES: My gf and I have tried a number of dishes, and we liked them all. The must try dishes are the Tom Yum Kung as a hot pot (please get it spicy), the honey fish, the beef red curry, and the chicken jungle curry. I also think the Chicken Pad Thai is a great pad thai, but be sure to get it spicy and squeeze on the lime.
Will definitely come again... and again.. and again...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel S.Long Branch, NJ1714Nov 17, 2013

Try and order before 3pm if you can. Their lunch menu is $8 for dinner-size portions. Can't be beat!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melissa K.Phoenix, AZ185291Jan 13, 2013
I have been going to this restaurant since 2005 and it is still great! I have tried some other Thai restaurants in area and nothing else comes close! I love the Pad Thai & Spicy Chicken Fried Rice. I love their exotic drinks also I always order one like the Thai Iced Tea, Mango Juice or Coconut Juice! The staff is very friendly & the place is beautiful decorated! I fee like I am dining in a different country - love it! Don't be surprised if you go here that you are the only one is the restaurant - it usually is not very busy - I think they have a big take-out business but there is usually not a lot of people dinning in the restaurant - they always serve the food hot & fast! Great place!

Well, what used to be a place to go is now a place to avoid. Since their re-opening, their food is terrible! Siam Duck, could not have been more overcooked and greasy, they were out of most of their appetizers, their dumplings were not crisp, and fishy tasting. The Pad Thai was soupy and greasy, what a real disappointment, and now they no longer take credit cards. I would avoid this place at all cost.

I would probably give this place 4 stars for Takeout if their food didn't give me a huge MSG headache. And I asked the owner before ordering last night if they used MSG and he emphatically said No. If you're not sensitive to MSG, the food tastes very good, but Peter C's and Josh A.'s descriptions were accurate. The place was empty two times I ate there and also when I got take out from them last night. The owner was up front about not taking credit cards, with a sign on the front door saying that, but that's still an inconvenience. It's the only Thai place convenient to several upscale neighborhoods and the owner could do really well if he only knew how to market the place, got a waiter or two and analyzed which of his ingredients are loaded with MSG. Appears to be a sincere cook who sadly doesn't know how to run a business.

Just called and received automated message informing me the number was disconnected. Too bad, this sounded like a good Thai Resturant.
