Holly and Leanna were absolutely amazing!! The food was amazing! If you haven't had the deep fried apple pie, you should try it!

Bar service is super slow, should hire more people. This is the second time we tried it and it was just as bad as the first time. As far as food, the potato skins were disgusting and the skillet dinner with steak had a lot of grizzled. Do not recommend

We're traveling North on I-95. Texas Steakhouse, & Saloon, Lumberton, NC location. OMG..... THIS PLACE SHOULD JUST CLOSE DOWN. Seriously !! They should get -0- stars.
We stopped in for an afternoon lunch. Special was 16oz Steaks with 2 sides. Soooo looking forward to it.
First.... Hostess met us with a welcome smile, that was good !! So, we told her we will sit at the Bar ~ which is normal for us.
Then.... NO ONE came in to greet us or take our order.
Second- There were two seatings, apart from each other that still hadn't been cleaned yet. (Dirty dishes, half fill glasses & dirty counter).
After 15 mins ...NO ONE showed up. So, WE LEFT. WITHOUT LUNCH. Looking around... we were 1 of 3 cars parked in parking lot. They certainly weren't busy.

It's such a shame that the District Manager wouldn't inspect & change Management. Obviously, we will not be back and hopefully you will not stop.

So right up front they tell you that they're very short staffed so please be patient. Ok I get it.

Here's the problem. I understand the short staff and the wait time, but the food was below par.

I ordered the Brisket dinner plate.BBQ brisket, with seasoned fries and corn on the cob. For my drink, unsweetened iced tea.

First, no corn on the cob. Instead I have rice pilaf.

The meal come out. Rice is clumpy and hard. Fries are soggy, and Brisket appeared to be old, but not very good.

Upside, Yelp check in scores me their version of fried onion thingys. The kind you get at Out Back. These were pretty good.

Waitress asks if I'd like another iced tea, but brings sweet tea.

For sure they have some things to work on.

Sorry but a big disappointment for me

Tyee was a great server and the food was delicious. I love that they recognized the military as well.

Geremy was a phenomenal server! He was prompt and attentive. Above all very kind and thoughtful enough to ask if we were military affiliated and extend a discount. If you visit this restaurant look forward to good food and great service, especially if you sit in Geremy's section.

I was very disappointed with my last visit to this establigament. We normally sit in the bar area and get great service however that was not the case with our last visit. We were told rolls were in the oven but never received them however the table behind us did. I ordered an appetizer but never received it again the table behind us received theirs. i never received a refill on my water yet again the table behind us did. Maybe the server in the bar area should also write orders down if they have issues remembering what was ordered. We rarely go out to eat so this was a late valentines day date for myself and my husband. I should have just used the money to purchase steaks from the grocery store and stayed home. Texas was our go to on the rare occasions that we would go out to eat but I think we'll take our hard earned money to another establishment next time.

ate at the bar food was fantastic!!!! Kaitlyn was absolutely outstanding! Saw her handle some difficult customers with a smile on her face. You don't see that very often.! Kaitlyn great job!!!! keep it up!

Lumberton is having staffing issues everywhere, and this restaurant is no different. When we were seated, the hostess informed us that they only had one server working for the entire place.

Our server, Christopher was running! Yes, the service was slow. But not because he wasn't trying. He had 11 tables at once, and I don't think he even stopped for air!. So, Ryan was helping, as much as possible. Both of them were friendly and were maintaining a good attitude in this situation.

. The drinks came. Then, the salads. The main course came out at the same time as we were eating the salad, and the appetizer came a bit later. The onion petals were perfect. Hot, crisp, and almost no grease whatsoever! My son's ribs were fabulous, tender and falling off the bone. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. The asparagus was done right. But I had the sirloin tips, and they were so overcooked I couldn't eat them.

The staff sprang into action when I mentioned it. I had a fresh plate of perfectly cooked sirloin tips in minutes.

So, yes, they're having problems. But the staff they have is working hard. I live in the area, and have been coming here for years. I know what things are like around here, and I commend them for their hard work.

Took 25 minutes to get a refill and our waiter left during our service. The 6 oz sirloin is burnt and tastes like wet dog hair with hair spray many tables around us left because of how long their service took and the waiter going around telling them that their food was forgotten about. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
