Texas Roadhouse

This was our first visit to this fine chain institution. First time visitors get a sampler plate of the different sides -- which is useful, as green beans are very different here.

Steaks were okay, maybe a bit below average, but decent value for the price.

Waitstaff were friendly but the kitchen was incredibly slow on a Sunday evening.

My kids got a kick out of the Texas decor.

Had lunch at the Texas Roadhouse in Horseheads , NY; the service was excellent; the food was outstanding. Our server B. Roy did a great job, my prime rib was an end cut so B. Roy took it back and got me a beautiful medium rare cut from the center. The manager brought it out personally. That's Service. Ambiance is always good.

Just go somewhere else.

There's a better choice. It's not here.

Rude (and seemingly racist) hostess, steaks cooked incorrectly and a constant churning just to flip tables make for an absolute zero star kind of experience.

Spoke to the manager, and while she was kind, wasn't very helpful. It'll be on my "never shall I ever" list.

As a worker here it's exactly what I want i have a learning disability n they definitely know how to treat people with disabilities such as mine they are so sweet to me n so friendly and that's something you don't see in most places now and days so I would really suggest this place to anyone it's an amazing fantastic place to work n the mangers don't play about bullying at work they will shut it down real quick my favorite manager's are Ken,Bill,Taylor,Jackie,mayden (i might have misspelled sorry) and Emily and Zach was ok but he could be a little bit of a prick but I understand and I also love all of my coworkers equally my best friends are Brittney,coby,schot,Ray,Rueben,Jhon,Next,coretez,Grace and many more and my best friend's are ryen,Gerald, n my best friend there is Dan but I don't pick favorites I love everyone there equally not to mention the food is fonamly delicious and I can't resist it it doesn't even matter if i have a little kids meal for dinner it's so delicious I am full when I get home I would definitely suggest this place if you're looking for nice people are staff is always nice n polite as heck even if there haveing a bad day there always saying pls n thank u and you just don't see that now n days in most places and I'm so happy here and I'm staying here till i open my own business cause they have made me feel more then welcome wanted n appreciated not to mation in my opinion we have the boomest food in horse heads so if u want amazing food I highly suggest visiting us u will not be disappointed!!! Plus when I ordere treats n food I offer to share with my friends cause I just want to be everyone's friend with all that being said if you looking for a good place to work and eat I very very very very highly recommend visiting us!!!!!!!!

I got the bone in Rib-eye. It was fantastic. Great service. Good drinks. I got the pumpkin ale. Our waitress explained everything and came back more then once to check on us.

We waited for an hour and a half.. then they lost my reservation.. luckily I had the text message on my phone.. we got seated quickly after that.. we ordered rib eye steak.. it comes with 2 sides.. the server offers mushrooms and onions on the steaks so we asked for them on the side with 2 sides of mushrooms and onions .. no sides were served and we were charged extra for the mushrooms and onions .. we got a small dish of mushrooms and a small dish of onions.. the steak was so salty.. too much salt for me.. and I love steak so I'm not exaggerating.. the server was great

Signed up for wait list is said 45-50 minutes which was accurate, sat down ordered, we got our drinks pretty quick but waited well over an hour for our food, I ordered country friend chicken and got country fried steak, I'm not a big steak eater but I was nice and let them know and they had gotten me a new one literally in 4 minutes. Yet it took over an hour for our 2 dinners??? While we waited over an hour for our food the waitress only stopped by maybe once to check in only because my Kenny's cooler was empty and she got me a new one. No updates were given about our meals at all we weren't even told how long it would be. Then while we were still waiting another family of 4 came in and ordered and got their food before we got ours.. ridiculous. I love Texas Roadhouse but it'll probably be a while before I go again.

I ordered a takeout salad entree and an appetizer. The salad was fine; the potato skins came without the sour cream, which was disappointing. The rolls were very hard and inedible. It was on the late side of the restaurant's hours, and the rolls must have been around a long time. I have been happier with previous orders.
