No wait for a table. Filet was cooked perfect at medium, loaded baked potato was excellent. Chicken critters and fries were great! The best rolls ever! Anthony was friendly and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere (we were there about 5). Great experience!

I took my son in law to dinner for his Birthday and he chose The Texas Roadhouse in Columbia which was above average. As soon as we checked in we were escorted to a table and we were immediately waited on. We ordered the fried pickles. They were ok, just a bit salty, but then I am not a lover of fried pickles. My son in law ordered the steak and ribs. The steak was cooked perfect at medium; the loaded baked potato was excellent. My daughter ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, Mac & cheese and potatoes and I ordered the salmon, corn and loaded sweet potato with a peach tea. All of our meals were de-lish! The rolls of course are the best rolls ever! Our server Mykaela was friendly and very attentive. Relaxed atmosphere (we were there at 6 pm). The only downfall to our visit...we were seated in the back with a lot of small kids, who were loud and rowdy. The kids seating directly behind me kept jumping around in their seats and bumping into my seat. But other than that, our visit was great!

In the middle of February, they had the air conditioning on!
We had to change or leave. It was that cold.
We changed tables, and it was tolerable. I still didn't feel warm enough to remove my coat until I was done eating.
It is a loud restaurant. It is difficult to have a conversation with those you are dining with. A lot of yelling.
The dining room was dirty.
Service was good. The kitchen was fast. The food was okay, just okay. One of the things Texas Roadhouse boasts about is their fresh, hand cut steak. Based upon taste and texture, I would disagree. My steak had previously been frozen, not fresh. It's no better than a cheap steak at Applebee's.
This is several times and multiple locations where I have low quality meals from Texas Roadhouse.
Dining room cleanliness was an issue too.
I am done with this chain.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 7, 2024
This location is always slam packed. The staff is normally friendly and helpful. The steak here I have never had a problem with when asking for how you want it cooked.
I do suggest reserving online first as they are pretty busy on weekends and afternoons.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica H.Bolivar, WV04Mar 24, 2024
Service was outstanding and very personable. No disrespect to our server at all. But I ordered a medium rare ribeye, more on the rare side. Was very specific. Steak came out well done. Could barely cut it. I HATE sending food back and have only ever done it once before at another steak house. Had to send it back. Our server was amazing and apologetic. Waited 20-30 minutes for the steak to come back out and it was again well done. Not sure how hard it is to cook a mostly rare steak but this Texas Roadhouse absolutely did not care whatsoever. Worst steak I've had in a long time and will not be back. And worst part about it, had to pay for that piece of shoe leather.

Tonight was a hit compared to all other visits. Super cheerful hostess. Seated in a room all to ourselves even though they were packed. Fantastic, quick waitress. Refills, cold fresh salad, hot delicious chicken fingers, ribs, and steak...only blip was regular butter for the rolls which I actually prefer. Best experience at any Texas Roadhouse!

The service was mediocre, but at the end realized she was new. She did pretty well considering that.
It's not our favorite place, but it was pretty solid today.Oct 11, 2018Previous reviewJust an average all American Texas Roadhouse. Not bad, just nothing noteworthy. Basic friendly service and average food. We will eat there again and recommend it, just nothing expected outside of cookie cutter chain dining.

Update: Regrettably gave this location another shot after not going back for over two years. The service was horrible. We barely saw our waitress. Well not entirely accurate. She would come out and check on one table then walk off not checking on others and not noticing people trying to get her attention. The chili was cold and the baked potatoes were cold. Aside from a horrible service I was floored by the service the next table over got.
After waiting on their waitress (same as ours) they flagged a random one down and complained about their ribs being cold. She left and 15 mins later the manager showed up with a rack of ribs. I didn't hear the entire conversation but did hear them complain that last time the ribs were cold too. Manager asked if they took them off the tab that time then said well I did this time so that's an upgrade from last time right? Really how is that even an acceptable response from a manager. Basically explains a lot.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 14, 2021Previous reviewThis would probably be a solid three if it wasn't for the large chunk of glass my wife found in her salad and the lack of care that the management or staff seem to place on something so dangerous. I informed the waitress who said she would inform somebody. Not sure if she did or the manager just didn't care to come out and apologize. I feel the least I should expect would be at least an apology from the waitress, a manager coming out, or maybe not charging us for the salad that had glass in it and wasn't finished because of that. None if this happened though.
The rest of the food was meh. Service was average at best. Definitely the worst Texas Roadhouse I've been to. - Jennifer S.San Diego, CA1034825Jan 28, 2024
My husband and I came here for date night on a Saturday afternoon since one of our neighbors gave us a coupon for an appetizer. It was pretty busy but not too bad. I came up to the servers at the front to get a table. I could barely hear her when she told me she would text me when a table was available. I got a text saying the wait time was 10-20 min. So the hubs and I headed over to the bar for a beer and cocktail. The bartender was awesome and service was great. I finally got a text that a table was ready. Talked to the same girl again, I could barely hear her but she said something along the lines of "we're just waiting on one person and then we'll have you seated." I saw the couple in front of us get seated and after that the wait felt like forever. We saw a few more people get seated after us even though they just got there. I asked my husband to go check with the girl about our table and see if maybe I heard wrong? He goes to ask the ladies at the front about our table and they both looked at each other confused. They told him it would be another 10 min. At this point, I tell my husband that maybe we should go eat somewhere else. But luckily a server came up to us and showed us to our table. We get to a table and there is a hot plate holder sitting in the booth. My husband and I wait until server grabs it so that we can sit down. But the server just stares at us like we're idiots and wondering why we haven't sat down yet.... My husband laughs it off and grabs the hot plate holder and says, "yeah this was in the way." She just grabs it and doesn't apologize. My husband and I both agreed this would be our first and last time at this location. The only upside was the food was good and our waitress serving our food was a sweetheart as well as the bartender. Other than that, definitely not worth coming back for. Service was bad.

The service here is not good whatsoever. There are lots of rude servers here who do not work as a team and give each other snarky remarks. When you walk into the restaurants the peanuts on the floor makes the place look like a hog pin and is extremely disgusting. They need to stop allowing the customers to throw their trash and peanut shells on the floor because it is a hazard of many ways. Also the wait time on the phone can be pretty extensive.

I went to pick food up from the walk up window, when I ride Insee one of the employees who appeared to be off work, had his hat and jacket on. He was playing in his hair and face. He set i. the counter where the rolls were and started picking over and playing i. the rolls, giggling about it. I asked did anybody see that, there were 7 employees standing around looking at him. I asked to speak to a manager, well 2 of the 9 people were managers, WOW!!! I asked them if they had saw him playing in the rolls, they both said, yeah we will talk to him. They never asked him to leave the area, when I left about 15 mins later he was still there playing and joking....this is so unsanitary, after that one of the other employees was eating her mashed potatoes out of a cup and serving people food, managers observed this too and NEVER said a word. UNSANITARY PRACTICES AT THIS ROADHOUSE!!!!!
