Teton Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Recently, I was on a trip through Wyoming with my sons. My 19-year old had wisdom teeth extracted about a week before we departed Georgia. Sure enough, during a stop in Grand Teton Nat'l Park, he started to experience pain and we had concern about potential infection. We called Teton Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery on a Monday morning. They got us in early Tuesday and the experience was extraordinary. Sign in process was efficient and Dr Stern was awesome. Very capable, very cool and he made us feel clarity and confidence regarding next steps. Fortunately, it was an fairly simple issue and we were out of the office in 30 minutes.
I have 4 kids and they've all had numerous physician and dentist visits over the years. We experienced the best during our stop in Jackson. Big thanks to Dr Stern and staff!

We love Dr. Stern! Both of my sisters & I have had our wisdom teeth removed by him. He is very personable, efficient & professional. Gives very clear instructions and makes sure you understand the recovery process. We have had a great experience every time & recovery is very fast!! We travel over an hour just to see Dr. Stern and his staff.

I got my upper wisdom tooth pulled. Dr. Swanson and his staff did a flawless job. I didn't even feel the tooth come out!! The office dog, is incredibly nice and makes the experience feel more intimate.

During such a weird time of quarantine, they got me in to get a tooth pulled. They were very friendly, very quick, and very helpful. He told me that I may feel like I have been punched in the face, but right now I am feeling great! If you need a tooth pulled, this is the place to go.

I came here a week ago for a tongue-tie revision. After a 3 hour drive from Riverton, I finally found this place tucked away in a office park. It is still the tourist season in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The procedure was relatively painless. I received a local anesthetic around the tongue. The procedure took only 15 minutes. I wished I stopped for something to eat before I went. Afterwards, my tongue was numb and could only have a shake, pudding or jello for a couple of days. Overall an excellent experience.

Not only was the prescription originally written for me dated incorrectly ( causing me to waste an hour or so driving around town and to wait for a prescription twice ) , but Dr. Stern and the receptionist were incredibly unapologetic and rude throughout our interaction. He even managed to throw a couple of personal insults in there. Also, there was a dog hanging around the lobby just 10 feet away ( via two open doorways ) from the surgical area. The place was a mess and the employees didn't seem know what was going on, and were rude (except for the nurse, Katie). It is 100% worth it to drive to Idaho Falls to see a professional instead of going here. Extremely dissatisfied. I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star.
