Terry's Teddy Bear Preschool

I wanted to come on here and give terry a new review :) she has been nothing but amazing with my son! This was his first week with her & I couldn't be happier. She has a small group and my son really gets his 1/1 attention and I'm noticing that with his communication already. Some of these Marin schools are just too much and extra. Terry made everything feel special and easy!

My 2 kids started attending Terry's preschool 2 months ago and I honestly COULD NOT be happier!!! I found this school on Yelp while looking for a place for my 2 year old daughter... I met Terry and that was it for me... :-)
My son used to go to a regular big preschool recommended by our neighbor but he didn't like it that much at all - I thought it was mainly because he is pretty shy but it all changed when we signed him up to Terry's school - he LOOOOOVES IT there and every morning asks me if we are going to "Miss Terry's"... He is 4 years old and it's so great to see him that excited about school. Moving him from the big 16-kids in the classroom school to Terry's small home school was the best decision... My daughter is 2 years old and she is not an easy child - tantrums and all...but somehow Terry can deal perfectly with her and she also can't wait to go to school... she smiles and blows kisses whenever she sees Terry... the kids learn so much at this school! Every day they come excited and can't stop telling me what they were doing that day with their friends at school...
I knew right when I met Terry that she was a very special person and would be an amazing teacher - so calm, nurturing, sweet... The place is so clean and so perfect for kids - the outdoor structure, the inside playroom, the area where the kids do projects...I really could not have imagined a better place for my children to learn, make friends, play and just have fun! Thank you Terry!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love you!!!!!!!

Terry is an amazing teacher! She has so much patience with the kids, and they adore her. She has a very small teacher to student ratio, so the kids get tons of attention and one on one time! I was hesitant to put my son in a smaller preschool when we moved, as he attended a larger one last year. But he is doing fantastic, and really loves it! If you're reading this review around the time of my post, she has openings!

If you could take every perfect trait that you could imagine when you think of a preschool teacher and combine them all together you would get Terry Dayner. She is everything you could dream of when it comes to choosing someone to care for you child. She has such a warm, nurturing personality and really connects well with children. The first time my husband and I took our daughter for a tour of her home we knew that she was the one we wanted to trust with our daughter.
There is just something magical about Terry! She is so patient with all of the children who range in age from 3-5. Everyday our daughter comes home with a new art project, tells us what they learned about nature, shows us her progress on writing letters and numbers, sings the new songs she learned and tells us how much fun she had with Terry and her classmates.
Finding someone that you feel comfortable leaving your child with is so hard but we have never once regretted our decision to send ours to Terry's Teddy Bear Preschool. Our daughter thinks of Terry as more than a teacher and so do we.. She is like family!
We will be so sad when next fall comes and we have to send our little one off to kindergarten because we will miss Terry so much.. But we won't be worried about whether our daughter is prepared or not. We know that Terry has gone above and beyond to get the children ready for the next chapter in their lives.

Terry is simply amazing at what she does. Both of our children attended Terry's Teddy Bear Preschool for several years and loved every moment of their time with her. Although they are both older now (7th & 9th grade), they still like to occasionally visit with Terry and insist on keeping in touch.

Terry nurturing personality simply radiates patience and love. Not only was she a great teacher who gave our kids a really great start and a lasting passion for learning, she was also a great example for us to follow as parents.

Terry is a remarkable woman, who gets along with young children, and is fun to be with. As a former student of her's, one of the best times of my life was at her preschool. So I highly recommend that you bring your kids to her amazing preschool.
