The Terrace Apartments

We've been living here for about 2 years now and it's been fantastic! We love our neighbors and we also love the team here at the Terrace. Jose, Christian, and Sunny are always working on the property with smiles on their faces. Everyone here is super friendly.

One thing that is a little annoying is how strict the Terrace is with patio items. You're not able to keep plants or anything that is non-patio furniture.
You also can't keep welcome mats in front of your home which I feel like would be a nice touch to the hallways.
Just little rules like that are annoying but you learn to live with them!

I couldn't be happier with the maintenance service provided by Jose. He's consistently available whenever we have an issue, and his response time is impressively quick. What sets him apart is his dedication to going above and beyond to ensure our living space and any issues I've had are taken care of.

His knowledge of all things is truly remarkable, and he handles every task with expertise and confidence. Not only is he skilled, but he's also friendly and personable, making interactions with him a pleasant experience.

I have full confidence in his abilities, and I'm grateful to have such a reliable and capable maintenance professional looking after our apartment. His commitment to excellence is evident in every job he tackles, and I'm thankful to have him as part of our apartment community.

So I have been living here since December. No complains with the Office Staff and Maintenance. Both are easy to talk to. Biggest problem I always encounter is parking area. Going home after 5:30pm good luck finding a spot if you don't pay for the reserved parking basement . The security at night isn't very helpful either in finding a spot within the entire community but only waiting for cars to park where it's not supposed to park so he/she can put a warning sticker. When I first called the office about it I was told that there's nothing they can do and I have to keep driving around until i find a spot. I work 10hrs a day and I want to be at home relaxing or making dinner and finally call it a day but currently there's no available "Reserved Parking Spot" in our building. The other night (video) we got a warning sticker for parking 10mins where we are not supposed to park. I called the night security and explained that I have to unload a lot stuff which was too obvious coz he's been waiting for us to leave so he can put the warning sticker. I came back to 3-4 cars with blinkers on waiting to park. The after hours "Ambassador" to my surprise was the same person in the golf cart watching us residents struggle for a spot. The same security that told me to park just whatever spot I found in the basement and to just say "well I can't find a spot and I thought no one parks here" if I get a warning.. well guess what, it's the same person that reported me to the management that I parked where I am not supposed to. You advised me to call the office and look for the manager to complain and let them know of the parking situation since a lot has been complaining to you also. Isn't that the night security's job to let the management know of this parking situation? That there was a stalled vehicle for months in the parking lot, that there's outsiders park in the community, that there's not enough parking regardless reserved or not, it should be enough for all the RESIDENTS Registered Car instead of just sitting in the cart taking pictures of residents and cars that violates the so called policy. Today I called right after I got this warning letter. But sadly the manager even the assistant is not available. I spoke with Breanna and let her know what happened that night and the other numerous nights that we were almost sleepless waiting for parking vacancy. We documented every night that we had to keep driving around and not a single slot found. Maybe Management should start checking on how many cars per unit? Or visitors parked not In visitor's parking after office hours? At least do something instead of telling us the cliche line "unfortunately you just have to keep looking" ‍

I never post reviews because I like to give places the benefit of the doubt. However if I can help people from ever making the mistake of renting here I will take the time to write about my experience. THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHES DO NOT MOVE IN HERE.

These pictures are from only two days of use of the roach traps. They crawl out of the sewer and into your home, burrow into your electronics and furniture, and clothing. Nightmare on City street. You can see them traveling a lot of your home through the sewage and drainage, we had to sell her car and fall into financial hardship, there was a roach in our family's dogs eye, and our garlic powder, microwave, fridge, how is it humanly possible that this is OK? We cannot sleep well as we wake up to literal cockroaches, falling from the holes in the ceiling into our bed, we've had to throw at least $500 worth of food away, and no matter how many complaints we have filed with the office it only results in more and more Treatments and spraying, done by the complex that does not fix the issue.

if you ask for documentation, proving that they sprayed your apartment, they will decline due to privacy laws and ask you to reach out to their third-party exterminator, once you reach out to their third-party exterminator. They also tell you they cannot share that information with you, as if you are not allowed to write to information about the Home you rent.

Save yourself the trouble please don't be out 10 thousand dollars like we have lost to get away from the infested home. This place is infested. Stay far far away.

Great place to live and staff is very helpful. Kalana is great work with.
The complex is kept really clean and maintenance is done in a timely manner. Place is nice and quiet also.

Please do not move here. Please run far far away. There are giant roaches and roaches of all sizes everywhere. The make you pay a huge deposit, which would be worth it if the entire complex and buildings weren't infested with Roaches. I live in building 6 and I added pictures below to speak to the amount of roaches that actually are in the buildings. I notified them over and over and they come in with barely any notice and make you leave for 4 hours to spray but the problem does not go away it persists because they all live in the building.

They add things in the lease that are of other concern aka no smoking on the premises, no personal plants, they never pick up the trash and it spills out into the hallway, just weird things. But worst of all is the roaches. They show up in every room and corner of the house and they all come from the sewage and draining. We paid a huge deposit (over 6k) to get in -first and last months rent basically. However no matter how many roaches you show proof of, you are still required to pay an additional $5k to break the lease, and they will not take any of the lease ending fee from your deposit. So if you're counting with me, it's 10k total to move in, have your home be infested with roaches, and then want to stop living there. As long as they spray they deem themselves free of guilt and liability to their tenants. All the photos taken below both occurred and accumulated over the last two months and during which the complex was "treating" the problem.

As a result I've lost $500 + of food, fallen into financial hardship, had to sell my car to get away from the bug infestation in the home, and I somehow still owe them money please please please let my loss be your warning and RUN.

I lived here with my husband and daughter for 2 years and although everything was really great for the first year, shortly after we started to notice little roaches starting to appear. My husband worked in pest control so he started to get more concerned that the roaches were infested in the walls of the complex.

The leasing office and the guys who do all the maintenance are really great and nice. They were always on top of things which I can appreciate.

My problem was the leasing office lying and saying that they hadn't heard of any other apartments having roaches. I would constantly ask my neighbors if they too had them and ALL of them said yes. Unfortunately, no spray is going to keep them away. And it's only going to get worse.

I would not live here unless you're into having roaches as roommates. Also, there was a sketchy guy who lived there that would steal my husbands stuff off his motorcyle. He lived in building 1, 3rd floor, corner apartment. We reported it but since this place won't allow us to record shit we didn't have any legal proof.

Stay far away!!!

I've lived here for a while now and overall it's been a nice place to live. The property stays well kept up, the maintenance crew takes care of any issues I may have and might I add they are ALL very friendly. The apartment complex does not go up on your rent by a lot like most places I've stayed. The amenities are great! I take full advantage of the gym and having a nice pool, tennis court and pool table room is pretty cool too. The amount of time I've been here says a lot! (5+ years)
