Ted S. Krzywicki, DDS

I had to have 3 cavities drilled and filled with dr. K. I have a very pronounced phobia of needles and so the process was bound to be very traumatic as it required several anesthetic shots in my gums. Dr. K knew this and so he took extra care to make sure I was as comfortable as possible; we talked about the procedure and he was communicative and checked in with me a lot. He told me several stories of his time in Vermont to try and relax+distract me. I have never had such an attentive doctor. As far as super unpleasant dental procedures go, this one was as bearable as possible. I am super grateful for his willingness to put in the extra work to make dental procedures much less scary. In follow-up fillings and similar procedures, he has handed me a mirror so I could have the option to see what was going on, if I wanted, and also always tried to do it without anesthetic shots when possible.

In terms of dental hygienist, Mai is great. I like that she is a pleasant conversationalist but also very straight to the point. She lets me pick what toothbrush color I want :)

I don't know how to evaluate doctors. - Dr. Ted may not be the best/only good dentist that I know, but it's after him I finally started getting treatments. While many other dentists told me that my teeth had lots of problems, he is the only one who told me the good parts of my teeth and put them in step-by-step treatments.

My family-- young adult children and older adults-- really appreciate this doctor and his whole office. We have been coming here for about 10 years.

The doctor does a great job with fillings and other fixes. We have one person who is super afraid of needles and Dr Ted was patient and gentle. She was totally fine through the whole thing. The doctor also fixed an uneven filling that another doctor had done poorly, and fitted me for an Invisalign retainer.

Mai is an amazing dental hygienist. My teeth are clean and she is gentle. She's always on time, too

Terri is the office manager and she rocks. She is pleasant, smart, helpful. She responds quickly to emails and phone calls and helps us navigate insurance ( or lack of insurance).

Great Dental care. I trust the staff and Ted with my family's dental needs.
Ruth is amazing, and we all feel so good after a cleaning.

My old dentist retired a few years ago and I wasn't able to find a place I felt comfortable, but Ruth made me feel very comfortable for my appointment. I have had a lot of questionable experiences over the years at other places but this dental facility is clean, staff is friendly, professional and straight forward about pricing and requirements. Looking forward to taking care of my teeth again without having to worry or stress about anything. I've often felt at times some dental places will do nothing but try to upsell you on things, but I don't get that vibe at all here which I am very pleased with.

Come to think of it, there are no words to describe the absolute marvelousness, configured in each & every experience that I've had at this facility, thus far. The staff is beyond exceptional, in all of their specialties and care.

I've been coming here for over 20 years this doctor is hands-down the best in town. I strongly recommend him to all families and friends.

I've been a patient here since I was 3 years old. As an adult and with a family of my own I've had difficulty keeping up with dental appointments and it has been quite a while since I was seen my Dr. Ted. About a month ago I had a bridge fall out on a Saturday. I went to another office and had a horrifying experience. Dr. Ted saw me right away and helped turn everything around. Terri was a great help with the insurance and billing. I will never go anywhere else again. I just left today with my permanent bridge and it looks fabulous- I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Dr. Kryzwicki is the original dentist with regard to service. Have a toothache in the middle of the night - he'll be down at his office. He really, really cares about his patients and his community. His work is awesome on top of it all.
For a truly caring, skillful dentist I highly recommend Dr. Kryzwicki! His staff is also just as complimenting to his service as they can be.

I used to go to a dentist in San Francisco, but after a few family members switched to Dr. Ted and have raved about how great he is, I decided to jump on board.

I walk in to the office..
A girl named Rachel greets me from the front desk with an "Oh my god you look JUST LIKE YOUR MOM!" Seconds later another lady named Terri walked into the room saying the same thing, and we were all nearly hugging.
After getting set up with first time patient paperwork and chatting a little, I was led into one of the dentist rooms where I was to get my teeth cleaned.
A hygienist named Mike cleaned my teeth. He was really nice, gentle and pretty funny.
After x rays came DR. Ted!
There is something about his voice that makes me calm right down. He did a very thorough exam of my teeth and then announced that i have 7 CAVITIES!!!!!!!!!!

This is the FUN part of my review.. I had just BEEN to my SF dentist a little less than a year ago. So obviously, in shock, I asked Dr. Ted if these had formed in the last year...
...yes i love my sweets... but i don't run a chocolate factory.....

and he said, "These have been here for a while.."

I appreciate that he didn't trash talk my previous dentist, but everyone in the room understood that this was an obvious case of previous malpractice :(

Anyway, the office was able to get me in for all 7 cavities in one week. Even though I spent most of my visit home as a chipmunk, I was very pleased with the work.
Not that I am a cavity expert... but I AM a wuss... and they did a great job keeping me calm, not hurting me at all, and doing a thorough job on my teeth.

Bottom line, I trust Dr. Ted. And thats all you really need to know.
