Taqueria San Juan

We had a couple of different things because we wanted to try this place.

1) Caldo 7 Mares: it was way too spicy that it was hard to enjoy.
2) Torta de Lomo: it was cold! The meat was cold, like it was either sitting there for a while or they didn't bother to warm it up.
3) Sope: it was soggy, hard to eat and cold.

The customer service was good, located in a good area with parking and plenty of seating space.

Surprisingly good. Service was good. Food was good. One small suggestion: The chili relleno was good but not hot enough. Should have been cooked a few minutes longer but otherwise, after several visits to this restaurant, I'm quite pleased overall. Fresh handmade tortillas.

I'm surprised this place is rated so high because it's mediocre at best. I will say, the ceviche here is great. That's the only reason for the 2 stars. I will continue coming here for my ceviche needs but that's it. My boyfriend and I both got super burritos and they were disgusting. I'm not sure if it was the rice or tortilla that tasted off or maybe the red salsa. The red salsa is absolutely gross in terms of flavor. Spice level was decent. Service is okay. They included chips and ceviche sauce last time but not this time so it's pretty inconsistent service. Either way, we'll continue going to Taqueria El Trompudo in El Sobrante instead of this place. There's a lot better Mexican food in the area which makes sense why this place is never really busy.

This place is so yummy! I've tried various items from their menu and they haven't disappointed me yet. The wait staff is always super friendly and attentive as well. Prices are reasonably priced for the amazing food quality. Highly recommend. My favorites are their gorditas or enchiladas.

Well normally the place is on point. But for some reason they were not doing great on service or food experience. Early afternoon lunch, one waitress only which was overwhelmed and made our experience not so great. Beverages arrived over 30 minutes after ordering which was 2 coffees and 1 water and a beer. Seems simple enough. Another employee had to come over assist after he dropped off one dish. And unfortunately when my dish arrived it was cold, cheese completely cold not melted at all. It's out of character for this location. I hope that next visit goes well and doesn't disappoint

My burrito had dried up chicken in it, not fresh don't think i will be returning I didn't enjoy my lunch at all

Hubby and I went out for dinner on a Friday . We were glad we found this spot because service was excellent and food was awesome! We got the enchilada plate and a super burrito both carne asada. Highly recommend their habanero sauce if you like spicy, good flavor and spice ratio. Will definitely be coming back

Worst taqueria in San Pablo! Not only did I get sick from their food but so did my co-worker! (We visited separately FYI). It's not worth the money everyone! Their burritos taste like a$$ very dry with stingy amount of toppings plus they were greasy and falling apart. Their plates aren't any better just as heavily oily and nasty!

I've had way better at other places. I would recommend checking out Tacos El Tucan on San Pablo Ave and El Sabor de Guadalajara in Richmond by the former Hilltop Mall which are my favorites at the moment.

I previously left a review for this business establishment and gave them a 4 star rating, however, I am back to update my review.
I would give Taqueria San Juan 5 stars.
Their food is exceptional. This is the second time I have ordered from them and both dishes were DELICIOUS! Packed with flavour and food was freshly made.

I ordered through Doordash and food arrived in about 35 minutes.
My order: one order of carne asada fries and one order of the enchiladas plate. Both were very delicious and we devoured it.

The enchiladas plate.... ABSOLUTELY delicious. They make the BEST enchiladas that I have ever had. I even liked their beans and I am not a fan of refried beans, but theirs taste amazing.

Please give this restaurant a try and if you do, definitely include the enchiladas plate with chicken adobado. You won't regret it. Well, maybe the only regret that you'll have is that you'll be buying it way too often LOL

Food is delicious, I really enjoy the super tacos. Prompt friendly service. As for ambiance it's a mom and pop restaurant nothing particularly stood out but it's clean and well kept. I sat and ate and will return soon.
