Best Mexican spot on Clayton road!! Been coming here the last 4 years. Our families favorite!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 24, 2022Previous reviewI'm leaving a low rating strictly because they've ignored my no dairy request twice now and I am breastfeeding and my son is allergic so it makes him have a really bad diaper rash and bleed! Twice now my husband and I both have repeatedly asked for NO SOURCREAM AND NO CHEESE strictly because of my sons allergy and everytime they say yes, and my husband is Spanish speaking so language barrier isn't an issue. I literally love the food here but cannot eat simply because I don't trust when I say no dairy, there's dairy everytime and I am left with a sick and sad baby. Very disappointed.

So I was a regular here before, but I WILL NEVER return to this place. The customer service is horrible. I ordered via doordash and they gave me THE CORRECT BAG WITH MY NAME ON IT, and was trying to blame the dasher for it. When I know for a fact the dasher doesn't touch the food in the bags, but OK LOL. Doordash was refusing to give me a refund because of "no receipt" so I called to see if I could get them to replace the order since it was their FAULT they put the wrong order in the bag. He straight up said it's not my fault it's doordash's after literally just telling me he'll remake it cause they closed at 9 and I called at 8:48 when I got my food. Btw, I got shrimp which I can't eat anyways since Im deathly allergic. Smh. Used to tell all my friends and family to support this small business, but after they tried to blame the dasher for their faults like they are the ones who pack the order- we won't ever return. Pic of my name on bag for proof.

I ordered 4 pupusas, took 3 bites from cheese and 1 bite from the revuelta and it was no good. Didn't bother to take the leftovers. Now I have an upset stomach. SMH

I ordered a carne asada burrito and got a bean and rice burrito with a little bit of meat. The flavor of the meat was lacking. Had ordered for pick up so can't say more about ambiance but cashier was friendly. I won't be coming back, will continue to try more spots from the concord taco trail list.

I got the vegetarian burrito today. It was bland because it only contained 4 ingredients of the 10 ingredients that are listed in the menu. They didn't even put any salsa in it.
I paid $11 for a burrito with rice, beans, zucchini and carrots. I was extremely disappointed.
It was missing guacamole, sour cream, salsa, onions, cilantro, and broccoli.
It was missing 6 of the 10 ingredients listed in the menu!!! Paid full price, got less than half a burrito.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Michelle O.Clayton, CA367239Jul 19, 2023
The food was delicious and there was a steady stream of customers. W ordered tacos and burritos. I will definitely order there again.

I wanted to try a different Mexican food spot and this place is within walking distance from my house. The food was hot and ready for pickup when we got there. My daughter liked her super shrimp burrito. It seemed to have a good amount of shrimp for her. But it had barely any sour cream or guacamole. I got a super burrito carne asada. It was all beans, rice and a little bit of over cooked chewy carne asada. No sour cream, no cheese, no guacamole. When I got to almost the he bottom there was one bite of salsa. Literally one bite. I had to go back and check the menu to make sure I ordered the right thing. Luckily they gave one small container of red salsa and one small container of green salsa that I put in the burrito or it would have been super dry. Pretty much everything that makes a super burrito super was missing from both burritos. I was disappointed. Not sure if we'll try it again.

I have driven past this spot many times and have yet to stop in! That is until I was doing the Concord Taco Trail and this is one of the spots on the map! I am glad that I was able to finally discover this amazing little spot!
Since I was hitting many spots on the list the day I stopped by I went for a single taco. Risky I know! Everything was riding on this singular taco! I ordered a street style carne asada taco. It came on 2 corn tortillas and with carne asada, cilantro, onion, salsa and a lime on the side. Just how a street style taco should! I drizzled the lime over the taco and dove in! WOWZERS this taco was so tasty! The steak was cut up into nice small pieces. It was super flavorful and nice and tender! No chewy pieces at all! The salsa had some great flavor too! A little bit of a kick but nothing too spicy that it overpowered the steak.Helpful 18Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0
