Our go to Asian cuisine restaurant in Streetsboro. The owners are extremely friendly and make my day every time I stop in. Excellent dishes.

Hidden in plain sight on the north side of Rt 14 just after the intersection of 303 when heading west is an amazingly delicious taste sensation that your nose, tongue, and stomach will thank you feet for getting up and going into this treasure of Asian delights hidden in a plain brown building. They have ample parking and great service, but only for take-out after the daily lunch which is said to be due to a lack of servers.
One thing for sure, the kitchen staff hasn't lost their culinary skills, WOW, YUMMY!!!
The hot and sour soup is the best available in this part of Ohio. The egg rolls are terrific, and their main dishes are varied and all are delightful!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben C.Cleveland, OH22411May 22, 2022
Best Chinese American food I've had in decades. Their egg rolls are homemade and delicious. Food prices and portion sizes are very respectable, and service is wonderful. I would highly recommend trying out this restaurant at least one time. It's not too far from Aurora Farms Premium Outlets, so a shopping trip plus lunch or dinner is a winning combo.

Delicious food and very friendly! If you ask nicely they will even make authentic Chinese food. Very rare.

Everything here is great. I highly recommend the pork buns, I usually even get some to go too.

Following the first and, almost definitely, last time we eat from here, I have a theory: Their chefs don't understand how frying in oil works.
Let me explain: Every dish we ordered--fried rice, orange beef, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls--was enthusiastically infused with the flavor of cooking oil.
If you've done any serious frying, you probably know that you need to make the oil hot enough that the the pressure (derived from rapid increase in heat) from inside whatever you're frying essentially pushes against the surrounding oil, preventing it from infusing the item in question.
And you also probably know that you need to watch the temp of the oil closely, because every item you add reduces the oil's overall temperature slightly, potentially taking it below that crucial temperature where the food being fried resists oily infiltration.
I'm pretty sure the cooks at Tai Wah don't understand this. Every single item we ordered was oozing with oil. In most cases, the actual ingredients seemed really high-quality! The crab Rangoon, for example, featured large and noticeable chunks of that embarrassingly tasty imitation crab, a rarity in my experience. But it was just impossible to get past that taste of fryer oil.
And here's the thing: The taste made it clear that oil had not been changed in a good long while.
We have been having mixed results lately from our more local joint, Beijing Garden on Darrow in Twinsburg. But this meal served as a fantastic reminder of how good we actually have it.
A strong and enthusiastic "avoid" from me.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mags D.Twinsburg, OH127122Oct 15, 2021

Very tasty, aromatic food and good prices. Very friendly people as well. Go-to is the Masaman; it warms the soul on cold days.

When I was in Streetsboro to meet a fellow salesman we planned on doing lunch. I thought I was in the mood for chinese. looked this place up it was nearby and had the highest rating on google or yelp..when we pulled up I saw the building was older and unkept..I thought don't judge a book by it's cover. We were very delighted to be greeted by very friendly lady and seated in their very comfortable and spacious dining room! We ordered their oolong tea pot and it was delicious. They had a wide selection of teas, too! I ordered vegetables with white rice with light szechuwan sauce. it also included an egg roll. and they were both delicious and very large which is uncommon very fresh and light. the veggies were crisp and bright , service was tremendous and she was very attentive! my sales buddy got sweet and sour pork and he was very happy with his meal, too! He also commented about the egg roll being amazing and one of the best he's ever had. Tea was delightful and hot in teapot to share. prices very reasonable, too! Glad to know this place as I will be looking for clients to take here and also come back when I need a place to work and get away! Don't judge a restaurant by it's cover..once again..diamond in the rough! Great job! They also have an asian grocery store inside and they were making very delicious baked goods, which the aroma was so pleasing! Didn't take any pics..but food and place were amazing!
