one the best in St. Petersburg . The food is great and fast . Definitely a nice addition to st petersburg . We need more rest like this one .

Stopped into the Grumpy Gringo for lunch while out shopping. It was a solid choice for lunch. I loved the divey decor and the large variety menu.

We ordered at the counter and waited for our food to arrive at our table. The server didn't see us sit down so we missed the chips and salsa. Our food took a little longer than we thought it would but it did arrive hot, fresh and delicious.

They restaurant features a nice outdoor patio if you prefer to sit outside. It looked like there was a full bar as well but we did not order drinks. Will definitely try again.

I thought this was one of the funniest names for a restaurant so I thought I'd check it out! Restaurant design is pretty creative I'm not gonna lie. The staff were chill too. The food was alright, maybe for someone who's never been to the west coast, Texas or Mexico they may like it more than me but I thought the tacos were okay. I ordered two barbacoa tacos and two lengua. They come loaded with a lot of other stuff like sour cream and I think corn but I just got the cilantro and onions.

First thing I look at when I get tacos is the tortilla. Is it made in house or does it at least taste like it's made in house and sadly it didn't have the appearance or taste of a freshly made taco tortilla. Now the portion size for the prize was a tad expensive in my opinion. The sauces they had on hand were absolutely delicious tho. Full of flavor and they had a good amount of variety.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am discerning consumer and find this place to be outstanding in terms of flavor and value.

My friends who do not live far from here introduced me to the Grumpy Gringo.

Whenever I am in the area I must pick up takeout from there now. Dining is indoors and they have a cute little backyard patio seating area overlooking/adjacent to their ample parking lot.

Check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered takeout, food was great! I paid for extra sour cream on the side and that was left out of the bag so that wasn't great to pay for and not get that but otherwise the food was still amazing!

This is my second time getting their Burria tacos and my first time coming to the establishment. These birria tacos are simply amazing! I love tacos and when done perfect I am so happy. I wish they were closer but oh well. I definitely will be coming back to try other food on the menu. The gentleman at the register is so nice. Can't wait come back and have some tacos and a drink.

Stopped here for a late lunch today, I had the Saturday special pork, it came with rice and beans and 3 tortillas. After living in the San Diego area for almost 20 years I have to tell you I am a bit of a Mexican food snob. Well I will say I was a happy happy gringo when I left. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great, she dos not get flustered with my adult special needs son and his questions, she took the time to answer him and never once seemed annoyed. They have indoor and out door dining as well as carry out. I had read a review that said they had a good margarita and I second that. I can't speak for my family's taste buds but they gave 2 thumbs up when I asked them. If I'm ever back in the area this will be on my list of places to stop.

Grumpy Gringo is typically an Door Dash order of mine or a to-go order, so I can't really talk about the ambiance because I don't really spend much time inside, but I love the food.

My favorite item of theirs are the nachos. Their nachos are a meal themselves. They are huge. Their chips are delicious. Whether they are plain, with salsa or in nacho form, they are stellar.

I love their supreme tacos too with beef or chicken. I mean they are really putting Taco Bell to same with these ingredients since they are actually real.

Even when I get the food delivered to me it doesn't taste stale or old. It tastes freshly made with lots of spices and a good kick to it.

Fantastic Mexican food for cheap! They have the. classics as well as some delicious experimental options that are worth trying. I had the Birria Tacos and they were fantastic.

Wanting to try this place for a while definitely worth it if you like Chinese food my lady and I are going back for sure food was good the service was excellent our bartender she was great it's a cool place to get some good Mexican food indoor and outdoor seating go there and let them tantalize it taste buds
