So this was my second time trying Tacos San Pedro, I tried them again because I couldn't remember the way the food tasted from the first visit, and now I get it. This time, we ordered to go.
So here's what we ordered -
Chicken Flautas- The flautas looked great but didn't have much flavor, and the middle ones were all soggy. It is a good-sized portion, I just wish the chicken had more flavor.
2 orders of Flautas de asada- Meat had good flavor, but they were all soggy. Super bummer. I always hear good things about this spot. Maybe I chose the wrong items to order.
Green salsa is great!
We also got the agaua de piña and they were great!
66$ for 3 orders of flautas and 3 drinksHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andrea M.Lakewood, CA1167May 13, 2024
Over the past few years, I have observed a decline in the quality of both the food and service, as well as a deterioration in the overall ambiance of the establishment.
During my most recent visit with my family, we encountered a significant issue when my daughter discovered a hair in her wet burrito. I brought this matter to the attention of the individual at the counter, whom I believe to be the manager based on her physical description (wearing glasses with curly hair).
After calmly presenting the plate with the hair to the manager and explaining the situation, I requested a refund for the affected item. However, the manager initially seemed hesitant and questioned me regarding the refund policy, implying skepticism about the validity of my claim.
Despite my insistence that the refund had to be given due to the unsanitary condition of the food, the manager proceeded to grant the refund with a nasty attitude and made a dismissive remark insinuating that such incidents are often fabricated by customers seeking reimbursement. This response was both unprofessional and disgusting , especially considering that my request was limited to the specific item containing the foreign object.
A I asked for higher management the manager claimed to be the owner of the establishment, as her behavior did not reflect the standards one would expect from a proprietor. I expressed my disappointment with her and that this experience at Tacos San Pedro fell far short of the expectations one would have when dining out with family. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by the manager/ "owner", and I regret to say that I will not be returning to this establishment in the future they fail to uphold basic standards of cleanliness and customer service.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 1 - Akshay C.Lakewood, CA56356Feb 26, 2024
I used to like this place, it used to be my go to spot, but last couple of years it had been going downhill, my last experience was disappointing enough for me to review about it.
Food and service was disappointing enough for me to make my self a promise, This is last time I am going to this place. Go to a place which values your business.
The thing which really made me loose it was, if you are taqueria don't be so skimpy on handing out salsa. I ordered 4 meals ( not 4 tacos, meals/plates ) and the lady handed me 4 salsas and wanted me to pay $.50 extra for a salsa, I ordered food worth 60 and you are hell bend in not handing me 2 extra salsas. Wanted me to get in line for paying for more salsa.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2024
It's been quite some time since I've been to this establishment but I must say, the flautas are still amazing as I remember having them many years ago. Service was good and it wasn't too crowded so it was nice to make a it a quick lunch. Got 12 flautas, 6 chicken and 6 asada both with everything. The super crispy shells with all the guacamole & cotija cheese holding a perfect amount of iceberg lettuce always gets me. Don't forget to get both salsa verde y rojo.

A great spot for authentic Mexican food. Tacos, tortas, flautas, enchiladas, and so much more. The meat is packed with flavor and generous portions for the price.
I always get the lettuce wraps. One asada and one pollo. These are 5/5 because the meat is so juicy and tender. They give you A LOT of meat. Very nice for the price. Filling and light option. It is also topped with either green or red salsa for that spice.
Parking is small, service can be a little inconsistent. Overall, a good quality food and portions.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Justin C.Laguna Hills, CA06710Apr 15, 2024
As I sit here writing this review. My stomach is hurting. And having to go to the bathroom. It's not food poisoning. It just food that is made bad. I asked for a burrito with beans and I barely got a handful of beans in my burrito. What are the owners doing about this . Or are they doing anything at all!!! Using styrofoam plates which is bad for the environment. This is horrible

Came in today and ordered 2 tacos de asada and to my surprise I didn't like it. Usually I go for a torta but I wasn't that hungry. My hubby had the tostada de asada he liked it. He also had the aroz con leche as dessert, and it was nasty as well.
FYI: Way Better taco spot is Tacomasa in cypress. I wouldn't come back.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1Oct 11, 2022Previous reviewGlad to finally be back.... And glad that this place is finally open for inside dinning. Food here never disappoints at least in my opinion.

Dont know if this is due to Covid but i hear the same from alot of people. Their salsa is definitely not the same. Anyway, staff is always super friendly. Parking can be a little crazy on the weekend so its best to come a bit before the lunch or dinner rush. I had two tacos of carne asada yesterday. For a taco fix, i enjoy eating from here.

The food is tasty here. You truly get a carne asada burrito and they don't try to fill it up with other Ingredients like rice or a large amount of beans. I just wished both locations weren't closed the same days.
