Found this place on yelp was a little hesitant looking for some really good clean Menudo
Let me tell you it was delicious haven't had a good Menudo in a long time most places put too much spice or it's too dark and to cold
This place is perfect.
My wife also had pozole I can make the exact same comments it was delicious
If there Menudo was as good as it was I can't imagine the rest of their food
Can't wait to come back again !!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 16, 2018
Ok finally tried this place on an early Monday evening. I had a street taco fix. Good signage in front of small building with a few covered parking spaces. Simple decor inside. Two flat screen TVs on, boom box playing music, clean and well-lit interior with a few tables and chairs.
I ordered the 5 taco plate, a side order of grilled onions, and a half-liter bottle of Mexican Coke. My taco plate consisted of 2 Al Pastor and 3 Asados. All with fresh cilantro, lime, and served in a few minutes. All tacos were very tasty. Squeeze bottles of green, red, and creamy Habanero salsa were brought to my table. The green salsa was perfect and spice point was improved by adding a few drops of the Habanero.
Cheerful, friendly service.
Summary: A great taco place. Yummy food, clean with friendly service. Drawback is that my order of 5 tacos and a Coke totalled $12.44 which is pushing the boundary of pricey but acceptable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - DeQuilla H.Arlington, TX11543663781May 29, 2017
I saw an event for $1 Taco night on FB timeline. Tacos for $1? Yes please! Where's the sign up sheet?
I just finished six games of volleyball for summer league. So I was so hungry and ready to devour these tacos.
Pulled up well before 10, which was the time for $1 tacos to start. Waited around. It looks like it's a part of an old mechanic building that has been repurposed.
At 10 the line was definitely started and growing quickly. I was about 12th in line. Moving at a glacial speed, I finally made it. I ordered each except for barbacoa and asada (the 2 I was most excited about and first fail). I ordered 4 pastor, 2 chicken fajita, 4 picodillo, 2 chorizo and napoles con perco (skipper this one).
Chorizo was not overly greasy but still had the mushy consistency as to be expected but just okay. Pastor was seasoned well but dry but I enjoyed the picodillo. Nothing special though. The chicken was actually the best. Again seasoned well but a bit on the dry side.
When my name was called I was missing 4 tacos. They kindly corrected it but I guess I expected more. So many taco places are boosted but to me don't compare to Velvet Taco, La Ventana or Fuel City.
They are suppose to have another dollar taco night soon, which I might attend and I'm hoping for better flavor.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 20522502945Oct 4, 2016

The service was good. Use the restroom before you come because their restroom is not nice. It's in the back corner, the door didn't lock, it's a single restroom for all, and the sink is on the outside of the stall. The place is small so you might have to stand if it's busy. The tacos were good, but they could use a bit more flavor. These were $1 tacos, so they were small. It was their anniversary which was why they were $1. I'd rather try new taco joints before returning again.
The coke was room temperature and they had to bring me a cup with ice. Which kind of ruined my experience of drinking a Mexican coke. Especially considering I hadn't had one in years.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Yesenia E.Austin, TX118850Oct 29, 2018
This is a small restaurant about 10 tables .
Slow service and although the waitress took our orders and wrote them down they still brought us a different plate not what we ordered. The food was tasty but wish I hadn't waited 49 minutes for our initial order to come out and another 20 minutes for what I ordered to come out. A few tables around us requested their orders to go and some just cancelled their orders because of how long it was taking. Maybe it was an off day however, I'm not taking a chance next time we visit DallasHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wendy C.Frisco, TX37206Apr 21, 2018
Try it for the first time.... We LOVE it.
Amazing little place, very authentic flavors and food. We recommend this place for someone looking for a taste of home away from home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shannon S.Dallas, TX399373302Nov 5, 2016
I am so happy that I finally popped in for tacos. The pastor ones with corn tortillas and salsa verde are excellent.
I went back a second time for breakfast, and the egg, potato, chorizo and cheese tacos were delicious. And, their chilaquiles are the bomb.
I've had Esperanza's in Fort Worth as my basis of comparison and haven't found anything comparable in Oak Cliff that I liked (for this particular dish). This morning, though, Tacoqueta served me the best chilaquiles I've ever had. You can choose between rojas or verdes. I always love green sauces the most, so that's what I chose. The dish is served with two over medium eggs on top of chicken, cheese, and tortilla chips. I was so happy it wasn't a scrambled egg--the fried eggs are so much tastier.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Honestly, the tacos here are pretty average and with the name Tacoqueta, I should probably be giving them 4 stars.
But everything else I've tried here is awesome. The chips and salsa is badass. Gorditas and burritos are good. Enchiladas are pretty good.
Their burger is actually really good. But my jam is the fajita a la diabla. Oh and don't forget to get a churro con cajeta to finish things off.
This is my go to Uber Eats Mexican food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Parker L.Oklahoma City, OK115Aug 11, 2017
