*I'm editing my following review because the owner of this business responded to me in a very nice message explaining that they were unaware that their business hours were listed wrong on Yelp.and they corrected their hours *. Don't list your hours as open at 10 on Monday if you are NOT open!!! Pet Peave! Out of towners looking to buy. Lost sales for sure! Window shopped for 20 minutes but alas, you're not open

One Saturday while checking out the Vintage Market at SoMa.
A friend and I wandered, and wandered looking for an ATM (because I never carry cash). We found one at the mart across from Sweet Home Furnishings.
We crossed the street and ventured inside. We found many an early era item. The store was fascinating and took me back to classier times. Though I'm quite modern with my styling. I couldn't help but fall in love with some of the rustic and early American items in the shop.
From early globes to tarnished maps draped along the wall. The owners probably have an item for everyone. There is a nice flow to the shop, and as we made it to the end I didn't think I'd find anything to purchase. But this modernist was proven wrong when he spotted an American War Propaganda Poster from 1942.
It was perfect, and I purchased it with haste.
So here's to you Sweet Home Furnishings. You made my Saturday a great one, and helped me to embrace Vintage just a little bit more.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kent D.Hot Springs, AR26268Jan 24, 2016
Chris Clement has brought has tastemaker's eye to Main Street - picking the best for his shop. Follow on Instagram for a creative look at new arrivals. If you spot a treasure, but it now, because it will be gone on your next visit.

This place is so welcoming and well-curated. I love to come in and poke around - cool chairs, interesting storage pieces, fun objets. I got a beautiful table to use as a desk. Reasonably priced, too! Much better option than buying a new, shoddy coffee table at a big-box store...and then having to build it yourself.

I've driven past this place a million times and never thought to stop in, it's pretty awesome and the owner is super cool and nice. Very clean, reasonably priced and organized Antique Store. Most of the items are 1950s, good amount of furniture and small accent items. Make a day of it grab some Lunch at the Root, ice cream at Loblloly, do some shopping, then grab some cocktails at South on Main. There's Bike Lanes almost all the way down Main Street (start at 7th street down the remainder of Main St), so if you're downtown it's an easy bike ride.
