While I was waiting for my insurance coverage, I decided to go to Support Circle in Oakland. Overall, I was really happy with their supportive service. I'm in my 11 weeks pregnant and I had a miscarriage in the past, so I had been very concerned about my baby's condition everyday..., until I visited the clinic. They gave me counseling, resources lists, and a ultrasound for free, and I felt so much relieved after all. I received emotional support from them, cute pictures of my healthy baby from ultrasound, and a nice gift bag! I definitely recommend this place. Note: I spent about 2 hours there so you might need to recharge street parking (2 hours max).

I had an ultrasound scheduled for today 2/7/19 at 4:30 pm, only to arrive to a sign on the door saying the office is closed. Why would the company not reach out to those with appointments scheduled? My boyfriend and I took time off of work to make it here. This is so unprofessional.

Please accept our apologies once more for the miscommunication regarding your appointment at our clinic. In reviewing our notes, we see that we called you on 2/5/19 at 10:08 am, between 11-12 and again at 4 pm, leaving voice messages. We left a voice message informing you that your appointment needed to be rescheduled from 4:30 pm to 10:00 am on 2/7/19. We requested that you call ASAP to confirm the change. On 2/6/19 at 1:00 pm, we called and left a voice message asking for a call back. We made two more phone calls on the morning of 2/7/19, where we left a voice message in an attempt to contact you again.
On 2/8/19, we were able to make phone contact with you and apologized for not being able to honor the original appointment time. We offered to set another appointment but you stated you were already on your way to another clinic. We apologized once again. You shared that you thought your voice mailbox was full and could not receive messages. However, our team was able to leave numerous voice messages but our voice messages and missed calls were not returned.
Support Circle exists to assist women in the Bay Area and we are truly sorry we were not able to serve you fully. If you ever need our assistance in the future, we would be happy for the opportunity to serve you again. - Alejandra S.Wentworth Holland, Oakland, CA01Sep 12, 2019
I loved Support Circle because you can tell that the staff really cares about you and wants you to do what is best for you. The RN Tasha was so helpful with answering questions and making sure that I knew what was going on throughout the entire process while making sure I was okay and comfortable. My counselor was also amazing because she made sure I knew I was not there alone and really made me feel so safe.

I will never be able to thank these people enough for all the help and support they provided to me and my husband in a challenging time of our life. The attention we got there was crucial in changing the outcome of my pregnancy. If I am now a happy mother is also thanks to the encouragement and real love I received in this place. I advice anyone struggling with an unplanned pregnancy to look for help from these amazing people.
