We have 8 bowling lanes, two pool tables, and an excellent Snack Bar where we make the best burgers in town. 17 kinds of beer and several dozen soft drinks are all ice cold and ready to drink.

I was recommended this place by the concierge at Forks Motel, as we checked in around 5pm on a late January weekend. It was about a 5 minute walk from the motel, and I admit that I was very skeptical at first, given the seemingly dull atmosphere of Forks. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. There were only about 10 lanes (I don't remember the exact number), but how many do you really need in a small town? The bowling style felt rather vintage in some ways, as the ball return was above-ground. I haven't seen one like that in about 15 years. I personally prefer those, as I can see exactly if and when my ball is coming back to me. Also, the pin resetter is a bit strange. The man working at the counter was extremely friendly! Whenever someone wasn't at the counter, he would go from lane to lane, talking to everyone that was there, but not to the point where it would be annoying. He was very helpful when the computer scorer was failing (it seemed to be a bit outdated for electronic scoring, and the buttons jammed). He was probably more excited than I was, when I bowled a 218 with a house ball. They had a disco ball and some cool blacklight paint on the walls, since it was at night. Also, I really enjoyed the music selection (a good variety of classic hits). We had just finished stuffing ourselves at a local Asian restaurant, so we didn't try any of the food or drinks, so I can't comment on those. The shoes were not falling apart, and they fit quite well. There was a decent ball selection for the place only having 10 lanes. My friend and I each bowled five games, and it came out to be about $40 total for the ten games and shoe rental. I really enjoyed the small town atmosphere in there, and will bowl there again the next time I'm in town :)

Visited this bowling alley when we realized how lack of entertainment Forks had to offer. Husband and I are avid bowlers and go quite regularly back home, so we did not have our personal equipment on our drive down the coast. Right off the bat, my pretty agile husband slipped straight back on his first attempt to bowl. His rented shoes and mine were incredibly worn down, and I imagine the floor of this place hadn't been touched up in years. If he was two feet to the left, he would have split his head on the solid concrete ball collector and it would have been a lawsuit. We left after completing one round, $15.
Although we cannot prove it, my husband exactly 3 days after visiting got pink eye and the only new recent thing we could narrow it down to was the bowling ball. If you do go, SANITIZE YOUR BALL. Also, the ball got caught in the machine at least twice in our single game.
I am giving 2 stars instead of one because of the atmosphere. I am sure this town is happy to have any form of entertainment and if they invested money into replacing old equipment/floor, it would be a pretty solid spot since it's not very big. I actually asked the owner (I presume, only guy there) if it was the town hot spot, he said "honestly, not very often does it get a crowd". I can kind of see why. I happened to mention the alley to a server at the restaurant across the street when she asked what we were up to next, I kid you not, this lady said "ohh....." and her face turned sour when hearing the name.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Kayla D.Las Vegas, NV354225May 28, 2022
We decided to check out bowling while visiting Forks and had a good time doing so. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, we were the only guests. We bowling only 1 game, but also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and another item from the snack bar. Food was great and so was the service. If you're a family looking for something to do together after a day of adventure on the peninsula, I recommend Sunset Lanes.

Husband and I are in Forks for our anniversary. Loved sunset lanes. The owner was super friendly and the locals were nice to visit with. The vintage place is in good shape and was a great experience for a couple hours. Beer was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was fun for couples and families. Definitely a must go to place in Forks!!!!

Vintage bowling alley dating back to the 60s. Very calm during Covid. Manager (or owner) was exceptionally nice and took extra care during Covid. The kind of nice that you rarely see anymore. Worth a pop in for some fun if you are nestling in the sleepy little town of Forks. You can make reservations fyi!

Attended a birthday party here this past weekend and it was a good time! It was a large enough space to hold the party and the whole thing went well. The guy behind the food counter was very friendly and talkative, the guy at the front check in was alright! (A little on the grump side). They had enough shoes and bowing balls to fit everyone, and the kids had a lot of fun. Couldn't give more stars because the condition of the place is pretty bad, but overall it is a fun thing to do in Forks!

This place could use a few updates and given the prices they charged, they should have the money for it. The balls got stuck in the back every other turn. Half of the lights didn't work. It's an outdated place for sure, which is fine, if the equipment still works. The man working there is friendly which is why the review is 3 and not 2 stars.

If you are in Forks, go bowling, especially if you have teens or kids. It's mainly locals and sort of hidden over by the high school. This is a small, very well maintained alley with some arcade games too. The guy running the place was very friendly. This is a must-do.

If you happen upon the fine town of Forks, WA do stop by this establishment. We got our bowl on! super nice folks here and they have tater tots (which we did not partake because we weren't hungry). 3.50/person/game and 2.00/shoe rental. not bad. we had a blast! small place, decent lanes, electronic. what more could you ask for? bf complained about the beer selection but i don't care for beer. they had fountain soda, that's good enough for me :)
