Subway

Employees very friendly store does not honor coupons should post a sign instead of letting them make sandwich,then i tell them forget it.

Layne was the lady who waited on us. She was awesome. I saw this store had some negative reviews but me and my son had a great experience and some great food. Two ladies were working today. Both were great but Layne was the one that handled our order. Seriously she was the sweetest and did such a great job! Anyway I had the Steak Teriyaki and it was good. Son got the meatball and it looked great. Thank you Layne for doing such an outstanding job! Whoever the owner is this is one of the best restaurant employees in the city!

It's Subway. However, this particular location rarely, if ever, participates in subway promotions. Every time I log in to the subway app thinking it sounds okay for lunch, I'm hounded with promotions and false promises of savings. I click on the BOGO 50 pop up button and select my location and it never fails, let's me order, get all the way to the end only to see that I still have to enter the code. No big, orders ready, just this one last step then you have my money and I get an acceptable lunch. Oh but wait, for whatever reason, the app waits until this point to let you know that this location is not participating in the promotion. Well then I'm not participating in frequenting your establishment. It has happened enough now that I'm writing a review (which I never do) and will not even attempt ordering from this location anymore.

Thursday, June 25, apx. 12:30 pm, I went in the Danville Road Subway store to get a sandwich. As I stood in line I noticed the young man making the sandwiches was wearing his mask below his chin! As I thought about the current COVID crisis and the growing number of cases in our local hospitals, I decided I didn't want a sandwich made just two feet below his mouth. So I walked out.

I could have called the health department. I could have called the store manager. I could have done nothing. But I chose to put these comments on Yelp hoping people will read this and the situation will be corrected.

Until people take this COVID crisis seriously, it will continue to spread.

These people are so unprofessional and rude. I will never go back and to be honest the subs are terrible. I suggest firehouse subs.

Okay I know it's Saturday, but seriously... there are about 2 people inside eating and 3 cars in the drive through, mine included. No more than 2 people in the cars. All orders are simple nothing fancy or special. And it takes over 35 minutes for each car?!?!!??!!? I mean really. I work at a small mom and pop burger place and no one waits this long and that's with only 3 people working. That is only 1 extra person than what they have here. I guess if you have A LOT of extra time in your lunch break this is the place to be.

I really don't know why I keep going to Subway. Every time I do, I say I won't again because I feel like every sandwich tastes the same and its mostly bread. Yesterday, I got the Philly Cheese Steak and while it tasted OK, it was mostly BREAD. The service was fast and friendly and the food was OK but nothing special.
