Finally a bagel store; nay a business; with fair prices.
Bravo for charging a normal amount for delicious items.
They provided me with a breakfast that I love and they didn't make me leave feeling guilty about spending a lot more than I should have.
For that i will want to return.
Thanks guys and good luck to this business in the heart of Farmingdale.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 4, 2024
Got a dozen to take home and glad I did. First time trying them and I'd get again.
They were large and soft like my wife likes - I prefer firmer, but they were very good.
Toasted well and made good cheese and lox on a bagel.
A young man helped me and was pleasant and polite.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elizabeth H.Anaheim, CA03761Mar 3, 2024
What a fantastic find on our visit to the Island this weekend. Fast service, friendly staff, perfect bagels and hot coffee. Enough seating for all their customers and a great array of spreads and menu items. So glad we stopped in!

I don't want to call this the last resort - that honor goes to G&L although I'd probably starve before eating there again, but certainly not where I look to go when I want a bagel. We'll just call it plan B since it's what typically happens when the bagel cravings arrive but the line at Bagel Hut is out the door.
Don't get me wrong, the food isn't awful, but it certainly isn't memorable either. And I'd probably go 3 stars if not for the gruff service and nazi like adherence to the $10 minimum for using a card. Literally was 15 cents shy and told I had to either order something else or pay cash. Walking out on already made bagels didn't seem to phase them.
Long story - go around the corner to bagel hut if you can, come here if you mustHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenya J.Sayreville, NJ24Apr 8, 2024
Ordered blueberry pancakes they were over sized and not in a good way. One was actually burnt and the others were undercooked. The pancake batter was not cooked all the way through. The bacon was fatty and extra greasy. Very disappointing experience for the money I spent.

Great food, service was slow for me but I was noticing it was who I ordered with because the other staff members were quick. I saw people going and coming with bakers dozens, sandwiches and all while I waited for 2 sandwiches. Again my guy slow but others fast. Also good place to hang out and eat if you wanted.

Bagel and sandwhich we had were fine - service good no complaints.
However we wont go back- it was filthy! floors dont look like they are ever even swept . The corners and edges of floors black! Tables look like never wiped down.
Thats bad enough but the bathrooms were gross!!
Makes you wonder what kitchen looks like.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carli H.Farmingdale, NY011Dec 10, 2023
If you want to play egg sandwich roulette, try this place! I ordered 3 egg sandwiches on rolls, and every single one was wrong, even though I watched them write down and confirmed the order. They forgot to even make one. We got home and realized one was missing, one was covered in mayo, and one was drenched in ketchup even though I specified absolutely no ketchup. We went back, and the girl at the counter completely denied that the order was wrong. Another worker attempted to help us and remade one, but made us give the original bagels back. Ew? And then I assume he just gave her the same bagel because once again we returned home, and it was covered in ketchup. I called, and they argued that the order was correct , and made me text them a picture for proof because I simply asked to be refunded because I was not going back a third time. I was put on hold 3 times and had to explain myself over and over. Lets see if my order is refunded in the 3-4 business days they said it would take, or else I'll simply just report the charge to my bank. Never again, unless I want to be surprised with my order.

When I go to LeChe,which is conveniently across the street from Stuff A Bagel, I always stop there for a snack. I love their chocolate croissant and their bagels. They are still practicing social distancing, they have plexiglass where you place & pickup orders and also their tables at each end have plexiglass and they are also adequately distanced from one another. It is on Main Street Farmingdale NY where there are so many great places to shop, eat or just window shop.
I hear that they have great paninis! Next time, I will try a panini.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
