Absolute sweetest girl cut my hair. I asked for an angled bob. She didn't get the right and didn't take off enough hair. I went back for a touch up, and she still didn't get the angle right. There is a noticeable drop off at the front pieces of my hair, and the left side is also noticeably shorter than the right. I've never had a hair cut that was so unsymmetrical. I'm going to have to wear it up for at least 3 months until enough can grow out that I can have someone fix it. Super disappointing and upsetting.

I have found my new salon! Since moving to VA from SoCal I have been on the hunt for a new salon. I scoured out different locations, searched on Yelp and asked for recommendations. Studio G came highly recommended and it did not disappoint!
It is a small salon tucked in with a few other shops on Mine Rd. If you aren't looking for it, you will drive right past it. The cost was reasonable for what I had done and my stylist was completely honest about my expectations and we were able to find something that would look good and that I'd like. I'd much rather my stylist be honest and realistic than just give me lip service. Definitely will be returning!

I absolutely love Studio G! Everyone is always very friendly whenever you go in. And Abby is absolutely incredible! She did an amazing job coloring my hair and cutting it. I always have issues with hair stylists cutting off more hair than I want but she did exactly what I was hoping for! I would absolutely recommend!

Worst haircut of my life , my layers and my bangs were butchered I had to go to another salon to have them try and salvage my hair . Waste of money will not return ever again . Don't take clients if you are in a rush. WORST SALON ever I wish I got a refund .

I butched my own bangs a month ago thinking that I could rock Carly Rae Jepson bangs. I can't. I looked gross. I came in to Studio G hoping they could salvage something out of my seventies mom-hair mop. In walks an angel named Sarah! Not only did she blend my bangs into the rest of my hair in a really soft subtle way that I love, she gave me my first balayage! After a little discussion I let her know I didn't like how brassy my hair had gotten and she cooled it down and gave me this really beautiful color that fades into a really pretty blond at the ends. I left with soft beautifully cut and colored hair and couldn't be happier.

I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and my hair looks great. I used to go to Winning Image but stopped because the front desk receptionist was very rude. She talks down to me every time we would interact on the phone or in person. If she's that miserable at her job, she needs to find a new one. I pay too much money to get my hair done to go to a salon that treats their customers that way. I can definitely say that Studio G is wonderful in every aspect. Would highly recommend this salon!

HANNAH is absolutely amazing! She did such a fantastic job on my hair.. cut & color. She gave me the exact dark fall hair I showed her and my cut was perfect. My hair is so shiny and feels the healthiest it has in years. She is so sweet and so easy to talk to!! I finally found a salon I can call MINE! Definitely recommend her and Studio G!

Have Lillie cut your hair. You will not be disappointed. I went in with the worst frizzy hair and a growing-out TERRIBLE cut and came out with sleek, shining, beautiful hair. Two weeks later it's still looking great. Highly recommend Lillie Smith!
