I tried to make an appointment for my dog who is only two as a new patient. They are requesting vet records from previous vet. I have all the records since our dog was adopted and they won't accept. The policy is for the previous vet to send the records in case there are notes. I guess they do not want a new patient or my money.

We have had many of our animals over 18 years seen by Dr. Hoonhout and his daughter Dr. McCloud. Everything has always been top notch. Any reviews citing the sharing of exam rooms/etc. are misleading and inaccurate . They converted a dairy farm into a charming facility and it's mildly more "open" which is to say there's a shared entrance to the silo exam rooms. The staff is very caring. The costs are competitive and reasonable.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They give care options to fit your budget and send reminders for routine shots and check ups which is helpful for our busy family. You can tell they care about the animals and their customers.

We drive nearly an hour to take out beloved pets to Stony Creek Vet. They are kind and compassionate. They don't rip you off like other vets often do. Its clean and doesn't smell funky like most vets. We love the doctors and staff!

WHAT A JOKE. Incompetent and RUDE front desk staff to begin with and the fact that they shred papers pertaining to your pet without filing them is completely absurd. They hand you notes written on napkins yet charge you a pretty price for your visit - NO THANKS! Also, you share a room when you have your dog seen by a vet - not only is it unsanitary, but it disturbs the other animal/owner visit as well. They need to get a legit system to track paperwork and a new front desk staff. Stay away!

I called the morning of to get an appointment for my lab who hasn't seen a vet in three years. I showed up an hour early because I was in the area. They were able to get me in and out before my scheduled appointment time. They were very accommodating. Dr. Reinhold was very informative. We are moving to California and she was able to be open and honest with everything we needed to know to best be prepared to travel with my dog. I felt comfortable with the information provided and knew my dog was in really good hands. The price of the visit was very affordable. The only downfall was the dual rooms which made it hard to hear the vet due to the dog in the other room barking. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend this veterinary office.

The docs and the team at Stony Creek are amazing. They have taken care of both my cats and my large dog for years. Prices are reasonable, the scheduling is flexible (especially for urgent issues) and the entire staff is top-notch. My pets and I are treated like family friends as soon as we walk in.

When my senior cat developed kidney disease, Dr. Hoonhout and the ladies in the office went above and beyond to care for him, and teaching me how to do so. They have never pressured me to consider treatments or testing that could be considered excessive, and showed amazing compassion and caring when we reached the decision that it was time for end-of-life care to make my pet comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about Stony Creek Vet Hospital.

Always attentive to our 15 year old puppy. They really care about her and are looking out for her best interest. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Charged an exorbitant amount for a flimsy plastic leg brace when my dog had his leg broke. When it kept breaking in the exact same spot, they charged me again!! When I complained they basically said too bad I should keep him in his crate, for a month or more?!? I will not be back!
