Stonewall's BBQ

The tast was pretty good but super tough brisket. They sliced it with the grain so I got a pound of slice brisket that like leather. You would think a bbq place would know how to properly slice a brisket.

BBQ pork is ok, they ruin it by adding sauce, so the real flavor is not there, sides are pretty good.

Best Bar B Que in Picayune! The family meal is enough food for 4 hungry people. The lemonade is the best on the planet.

Great place for takeout. Barbecue sausage and beef brisket and both delicious. Bread pudding also tasty.

Always great bbq and fast and friendly service. This is a steadfast joint to grab a quick and reasonably priced plate of Mississippi bbq. The operating hours are pretty normal for Picayune (closed Monday/Tuesday and weekends), so you have to remember what day it is if you want Stonewalls!

Drove over 60 miles to try the BBQ here! I loved the ribs! The brisket was ok. Potato salad and baked beans were generic. Sweet tea was not. Covered patio was the only dining area provided. Too windy to enjoy anything! Won't be going back!

Love it. I have used it several times for parties. Everything we've tried has been good.

This was my first time trying stonewalls. I came about a week ago and it wasn't bad but me and my friend tried the baked beans and they didn't taste that good. I don't know what it might've been maybe the bbq itself or the brand but other than that it was pretty decent. I will say the cheesy potatoes are the bomb and that was my favorite thing. I got a pulled pork plate and they give you a lot for the pork and that's good when you pour the bbq sauce on it and it's also good when you eat it with their rolls.

Amazing ribs , just grabbed a whole slap and headed to the park . No sauce needed sweet juicy with a slight hint of smoke . Have had baby backs at Charlie's in Memphis , and every barbecue from here to the Carolina s and these are amazing .

Update:
I decided to give this place a second try after Tony the owner reached out to me in response to my previous review. Before I comment on my second visit I would really like to touch up on something that I did not address with my first review, that would be the incredible service! I wish I had gotten the young lady's name that had helped me because she was so sweet and attentive to everyone in the line ahead of me including myself. She was very apologetic when she became aware of my previous visit. The apology wasn't necessary but absolutely appreciated!
Now on to my second visit review!
The food was much better this time around. The brisket was moist and full of flavor, the meat on the ribs fell right off the bone as it should, although I wasn't particularly impressed with the taste. I think that may be more of my preference of Texas bbq so I don't fault them for that as the bbq sauce more than made up for that. The sides were good and the portions are just right. All in all I am happy that I gave this place a second chance and will definitely be back. Thank you Tony for reaching out, I always appreciate when someone acknowledges a review!
