Jason from Steve's Plunbing was on time and went above and beyond. The yearly water heater service was much needed and the price reasonable. My smoke alarm was beeping and he took care of it for me by replacing the battery. He did not have to do that. I recommend their services

Ryan, the technician who came to our home for the estimate, was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We were confident that he knew exactly what he was doing and that he would make sure that the job was done correctly and done well. Similarly, Kim, who apparently was responsible for sales in the office, did his best to make the project affordable for us. However, the initial estimates (5 different options) were far from affordable. In fact, the "Premium One & Done"--the most expensive of the 5--was more than twice the median of the estimates we received from other contractors. Kim did offer to reduce one estimate by about $4,000, but it was (regrettably) still several thousand dollars more than we wanted to spend. If your budget is not an issue, then by all means go with these guys; but know that there are equally viable and more affordable alternatives out there.

I needed my Solar Water Heater Relocated about 15 feet away so the contractors could bust up and remove my old delapidated lanai slab.
Technician Zachary BrownField said our water Heater needed repalcing due to rust and age. I said ok. He relocated the heater and connected plumbing and the electric. Had me sign his "Pad" NOT showing me the total, but saying it would be $15 - I asked "hundred?" verified that; I signed and he charged it on my card. When I saw the emailed "contract" the Bill was for $15,775,24 !!

**Avoid Steve's Plumbing!**
This company charges outrageous prices. They look for things to fix and try to convince you that your whole house needs re-plumbing. We recently broke an old faucet fixture handle. Nothing was leaking, just needed a new faucet. They wanted to charge just over $5,000.00. Yes, you read that correctly, $5,000.00! We said, WTF, and they backed off and said they had two other proposals the cheapest being $1,200.00 and that included a 1 year warranty. I don't know a reliable tradesman that doesn't warranty their workmanship for a year but to charge extra for that is ridiculous. We landed up getting the faucet replaced and the pipes and p-trap under the sink replaced for under $500.00 including all parts. Buyer beware. They offered a "free estimate" that ended up being$795.00 if we wanted the plumber to do anything.
It's free to have a plumber show up at your house. Anything After that it's $750.00.....

Steve's Plumbing MADE and LEFT home Uninhabitable!

New Management is as Dishonest as Old Management!
They created a disaster of my property and are NOT WILLING TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
Contrary to their TV advertisement where the owner says:

Dishonest and False advertising!
After disconnecting water and digging trenches to install Replacement water lines they claimed they were ordered by Maui Count to STOP as Steve's Plumbing failed TO OBTAIN PERMITS required by CONTRACT AND COUNTY CODE.
Still NO WATER for over a YEAR!
DESTROYED LANDSCAPING
UNABLE TO RENT
UNABLE TO SELL
Significant Financial Damages and FINE accruing.
No other plumbing company is willing to do job due to pending litigation.
Steve's Plumbing rejected a FAIR settlement offer from me weeks ago, Steve's Plumbing only offering to return deposit with no restitution or repair for the damages they made!
See them in court NEXT YEAR, November 2024.

in contract: "We will pull all permits required for work to be performed.", "Once estimates are approved , permit application will be submitted"
Steve's Plumbing was hired to replace waterlines and obtain ALL permits as they agreed in the written contract. They were paid a $23,000.00 deposit.
They began work disconnecting the existing water line digging trenches throughout the yard and then they received a STOP WORK order from Maui county for not obtaining necessary permits! They left the job with trenching through out my property and NO water and no willingness or plan to correct their mess and damages.
Do NOT TRUST Steve's Plumbing. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT Scoundrels'.
OBVIOUSELY, I do NOT recommend Steve's Plumbing and you should avoid Steve's Plumbing at all cost!
DISREGUARD the "Business Owners" response bellow as a canned response, She does not accept or return phone call or emails.

These people are ridiculous. This marks the 3rd or 4th time they told me that they would be out--made me wait around all day-- and then at the end of they day say they are not going to be able to make it.
They have serious dispatch/organization problems.
That said, the technicians, if you ever see one...are pretty nice.

This is by far the worst run business I have ever dealt with. They set an appointment with you, call you during your appointment window saying they are running behind. Schedule you a couple of days later, and guess what, they'll be running late again!
Their AC work was reckless and I am still trying to have that fixed. Their staff seems to turn over so frequently because they are overwhelmed by growing too fast.
