      When my aunt, who is a senior citizen/widow, met and fell in love again, we were all overjoyed. Two years later, they got engaged. When they said they were hiring a wedding planner, I was skeptical. It seemed like the idea of a wedding planner was a waste of money, especially when expenses can pile up for a wedding. Well, I've never been more wrong. They made things so much easier for my aunt, and it was the best money she spent. And, it was the best wedding I've ever been to.
      If I weren't already married, I would want to get married -- just to use their services!!!
      Since my aunt doesn't Yelp, I figured I'd write this review. I'm sure she would have said a lot more about how and why they were so great. I'll just end by saying -- you won't spend better money on your wedding.

      Kristin was the wedding planner for our wedding and she was amazing throughout the entire process. She stuck by us for the better part of a year, and always made us feel like a priority. On the day of the wedding, Kristin was extremely professional and handled everything in a very efficient manner.

      Our wedding day went by so smoothly, and there were no hiccups the entire day. The day before our wedding we had a rehearsal event that she also coordinated and made sure was magical.

      We have so much to be thankful for because Kristin assured that the entire weekend was spectacular. It was an amazing weekend, one that we will always remember. Thank you Kristin!

      Kristin was amaaaazing! She was everything we thought a great wedding planner should be. She was incredibly calm and easy-going, yet had the obvious confidence of someone who had done this a thousand times. She kept an open mind and made sure we knew what each thing we wanted would entail--no matter how crazy or insane. She was the liaison between us and our many vendors and truly made the entire process of planning a wedding a breeze.

      Kristin made us feel confident coming up to our big day. When we first met her, she told us her ultimate goal was to have us simply be guests at our own wedding. On the wedding day, that was exactly how we felt. All these little worries that we had (i.e. bad weather, guests showing up late or getting lost, dinner choices getting mixed up, seating arrangements, freak alligator attacks, etc) evaporated into thin air and it turned out to be the happiest day of our lives. The event was surreal and we honestly couldn't have imagined it going any better. Kristin and her team were behind the scenes the whole day making sure everything went perfectly. She was out of the way as to not intrude much but was always there when we'd need her for anything. That, to us, is a sign of someone who knows what they're doing.

      It was a truly unforgettable day and Kristin was the reason it went so smoothly. I'll be recommending her to any of my friends getting married as well. Thank you!!

      Were do I even start, Kristin is the best. I had know Kristin for several years and had attended some of her events in the past, by which I was blown away. Once I popped the question to my now wife, the first person I told after calling family was Kristin. It was as simple as "I'm getting married! I need your help!" She set up a meeting with myself, my wife, and mother in law. I told Kristin that my mother in law had some reserves about hiring a wedding planner since she had not had a good experience with the pervious wedding planner she delt with for her other daughters marriage. Once we all met, it took maybe 3 minutes to totally change her mind. Kristin is so organized, idea driven, and creative it was an easy decision to hire her. We would come in with these outlandish ideas which she would say "I love it! Did you think about this..." and le us down gently on why our ideas may not be exactly what we were picturing. With her experience we obviously listened to her, we are glad we did. We let her know which type of vendors we were looking for and she hand chosen several for each vendor category for us to pick from and took care of all the price negotiations. She kept us up to date on which bills were due when, and always made phone calls an enjoyable time. We had several ideas that our venue was not too thrilled about but Kristin worked her magic and made them all happen. During the wedding day, she was calm, cool, and collected. She kept reminding myself to relax and enjoy the day since I am a bit of a control freak sometimes. We are still getting compliments on how amazing the entire wedding was and I have given her information out to several other friends. We can't wait to have another party so we can work together with Kristin again.

      Kristin was GREAT to work with!

      Her attention to detail and organization made the wedding day and rehearsal dinner, flawless. She was always easy to reach and her follow-up was in a timely manner, where nothing was left to the last minute.

      As a wedding stationery vendor, I've worked with Kristin and her clients on many different occasions. Right off the bat, I was drawn to her calm yet professional demeanor. I could tell she has a pure passion and talent for fashion & design. I've watched her work under extremely stressful situations and am constantly in awe of her focus and ability to keep tight timelines on schedule. Her attention to the smallest of details is absolutely amazing. Her organization skills help her stay on track with deadlines and makes her a dream to work with. But most of all, I admire her commitment to her clients. You can tell she truly cares about each couple she gets to work with and wants them to have the best experience they could ever imagine!

      Kristin Watkins was our amazing wedding planner for our wedding this past mid-July. We had met with several wedding planners about 7 months before. We had already picked our venue in San Diego and lived two hours away in LA. Having a wedding coordinator based in San Diego was important to us in helping keep us on a time schedule and to also coordinate everything there for us. We needed a lot more than a day of or month of coordinator. We had already picked out a venue and some of our other vendors (videographer, photographer, DJ) but knew it'd be smart (and better safe than sorry) to hire a planner to start a few months before as opposed to a day of ceremony.

      At our first meeting, Kristin more than raised the bar. She listened and seem to understand our personalities and what we were looking for. She was very personable and calm-- this was also important to us in case we were stressed and overwhelmed (which all brides are!). What we really loved about our meeting with Kristin is that she didn't save all her great ideas and tips for when we hired her. She later sent a follow up email w/referrals of vendors and other ideas off our meeting. We wanted to hire her on the spot but we felt obligated to keep our meeting we had set with the other planners. Taking other meetings was helpful because it showed us how much more Kristin understood us as a couple and our vision for the wedding of our dreams.

      We hired her a little more than 6 months before our wedding and although she wasn't contracted to start with us until a few months before, she would check in on our progress with wedding projects and plans. Loved that she did this and it was great to have an expert to bounce ideas off of and ask about wedding protocol, etc. Kristin was also extremely helpful in helping us get a wedding rehearsal at our venue the day before our wedding. The venue had other events scheduled on the day we wanted/needed the rehearsal and Kristin's resilience in getting this set was the key. She also knew the owners/managers of our venue, the Bali Hai, which made a world of a difference. This was a lifesaver in having a rehearsal at the venue as we had a had a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen.

      The few months before our wedding, Kristin was quick to respond to emails and calls and also very accessible for meetings with us when we were in San Diego. She reached out to all our vendors and coordinated everything w/them. No matter how much time you think you have to prepare and plan for a wedding, there is ALWAYS a lot more things to do right before the wedding. We decided to have a photo booth at the last second and Kristin referred us to her friends at the great vendor of Just a Memory Photo Booth. We were also going back on forth on themes and Kristin was very helpful in tying all our ideas together into one cohesive theme.

      The day before our wedding at our wedding rehearsal, Kristin was extremely organized and knew exactly how to direct everyone to their positions. She was thorough in explaining to the bridal party and our parents of who was going where and at what time. And she did this all with a smile on her face.

      Cut to the day of the wedding and Kristin was so on her game at making sure everything at the venue was being set up. She coordinated all our vendors such as our photographer, videographer, florist, DJ, hawaiian ceremony/cocktail singer, audio equipment drop off, dessert company, photobooth vendor and officiant. She also had our namecards, signs, cake toppers, and sunglasses and so much more to set up but not once did she call us in a panic or in need of help. By the time we got to our venue, everything was perfect and Kristin was there, as always, with a smile on her face and the calm energy that we needed. Our wedding was our dream wedding and everything went perfectly without a hitch. Kristin was quick on getting us and our bridal party in order for our grand entrance, she was great in communicating with the venue's staff and bartenders, and all our vendors throughout. She was so friendly to all our family and guests, especially to our parents. She also kept track of our gifts, money envelopes and the wrap out.

      I know I'm writing a lot of details but it's only because our wedding had a lot of moving parts and details which needed to be done in a timely manner before the wedding and the day of the wedding. Hiring Kristin as our wedding planner was the best decision we made -- we couldn't have been able to do as much as we did w/out her. I think it was important to hire her to start not only for the day of but a few months before the wedding. Because of her, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. If you are looking for the ultimate planner for your wedding or any event, she should be at the top of your list. Hire her, you won't regret! Thank you so much Kristin!

      We got married in September of 2017 and Kristin was such a gem! Having her expertise to ask my constant questions to was such a relief and I can't recommend her enough. We are both San Diego based but our wedding was in Orange County and she executed all the coordinating as if she had been to my venue and worked with my vendors several times. So kind and so professional!

      As a full-time DJ, I have worked with many wedding and special event coordinators in the San Diego area. Kristin, from Stephanie Rose Events, is one of the best! I have worked with her on many occasions at special events ranging from fund raisers to high-end weddings. She is very detail oriented, has great vision and makes every wedding a reflection of the bride and her style. Excellent choice for a wedding coordinator.
