Q:
Is it worth coming in more than once to this place? Or does management always put everyone in a poor mood?
A:
The food is absolutely astounding, that's why I'd come back. But the management always suck, and the poor employees you can tell are only there to make a living & then go home

Yuuummmmmmm ---- pretty damn happy about this place let me tell you!
We ate dinner here after visiting Scottsbluff National Monument in Nebraska and while traveling back down to our hotel in Colorado. I yelped, I found, we ate.
We sat in the bar area though, they weren't crowded at all when we arrived at around 4-5pm.
My friend and I decided to share the loaded nachos with pulled pork, nacho cheese, and jalapenos. YUM. They were delish.
My other friend ordered the bruschetta and it came with the tomato mixture in a big ramekin with the bread naked so you could add as much as you liked. I thought that was a nice touch.
I ordered the cobb salad with cucumbers and extra tomato. The salad was delicious with big fresh chunks of chicken and tons of veggies. The bacon was a bit hard but that was OK bc I wasn't planning to eat most of it anyway so I just moved it aside and concentrated on inhaling the veggies and chicken.
They made me a mint sweet tea at the bar and it was DELISH!
Our server was a sweetheart and took good care of us. Everyone was happy with their meal here - prices were reasonable and the menu was huge and had tons of things for our entire group.
Highly recommend.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 11, 2017
Wish we'd gone to Texas Roadhouse. Prices were high, service was slow and staff was not professional. If servers could concentrate on their customers rather than hitting on eachother, maybe we would've had a better experience. I would also like to see the place a bit cleaner - when the menus are sticky, it makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is!
The food is decent and portions are huge. Thats the only reason for a second star.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Savanna D.Bloomington, MN1002811Aug 20, 2017
This is everything I could want in a smokehouse. Our waiter was attentive, thorough, and very knowledgeable. Our gluten-free, dairy-free travel companion was able to eat just about anything on the menu - however, they do not have gluten free buns for sandwiches and burgers. EVERY drink on the menu is half off during happy hour. They offer free cornbread as an appetizer; these are a little dry but the very flavorful and come with honey butter.
I ordered the Pokie sandwich. This is pulled pork and pepper jack mac&cheese between two slices of sourdough, dipped in cristo batter and deep fried to heavenly perfection. By the description I knew it would be good but it was waaaaaay better than I even expected! It comes with three dipping sauces: BBQ, smokehouse chipotle ranch, and raspberry jalapeño. I could not settle in which was the best dip because all of them are so full of flavor and and original!
My husband ordered the Big Daddy Bloody Mary and the Troubadour MAC (pepper jack Mac mixed with seafood). If you like spicy seafood and meaty cheese, this is the perfect meal for you! The Bloody Mary is overflowing with goodies - spicy kielbasa, stuffed olives, and a cheeseburger just to make a few! Check the photos for pictures. The add-ons and the Bloody Mary mix were delicious. And YES, it is half off I'm happy hour. However, he did say he would order it with less ice because it becomes watered down very quickly.
The prices really vary. Steaks and entrees are $15 and up. Sandwiches, burgers, and other BBQ are $15 and down.
This is a great spot for lunch, supper, or half-off apps and drinks.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 17, 2015
So I know you've been waiting to see what we found in Wyoming yesterday. You impatient crazies. that's okay, we love you for it.
This is called the "Daddy of them all" bloody mary and it's made with a blend of vodka AND gin, their own made from scratch bloody mary mix and garnished with (takes deep breath) a cheeseburger slider, a kebab with fiery kielbasa, peperoncini, blue cheese stuffed olives, a bacon wrapped pickle and an asparagus spear. Whew!
If you find yourself in Cheyenne, stop into Steamboat's and get yourself one. Not that you'll be hungry afterward, but the rest of the menu is just as amazing.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Shannon P.Glenrock, WY150340797Jun 27, 2016

Right off Dell Range. Can't miss it. Has a parking lot with easy parking. Inside, the place doesn't look bad, but doesn't look good either. Just Meh....they need to update the look.
Ordered some wings and beer. Beer was good but the flavors of the wings sauces all tasted the same, like they used the same base and just added a pinch of this or a dash of that. The wings also tasted dry.
Oh, and when I went to their web site, it tried to convince me to download some bloatware claiming it was for the "security of the site". Yeah, I'm sure the site needs lots of securing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 50615013900Jul 12, 2015
Trying this place out for breakfast to be pleasantly surprised. The staff from the hostess to the waitress to the busboy was friendly and courteous. the service was fast and the food was fresh, hot, and very delicious. I enjoyed every bite of my meal which consisted of their Country Benedict. The hash browns very cooked to a perfect crunchy golden brown, all the other components of my meal made my taste buds sing with delight as I took in every forkful. definably one of the better restaurants in the Cheyenne area.

The food was good, not great. There was way too much rosemary in the chicken noodle soup and the noodles were overcooked. The steak I ordered was a bit dry. Even though we waited a long time for our food I don't think they let the steak rest after cooking. The service was poor and that is being generous.

The restaurant gets better everytime I eat here. I tried the chicken fried steak with cowboy beans and garlic mashed potatoes.
The chicken fried steak was hand breaded and tender. Cowboy beans were a delicious twist on traditional baked beans. Garlic mashed potatoes had a hint of garlic which gave them just enough flavor.
Also had a caesar side salad which also came with the meal. Lettuce was crisp romaine tossed lightly in caesar dressing topped with parmesan cheese and croutons.
Our waiter was awesome. Refilled drinks without even having to ask. In my book that goes a long way. They give you complementary cornbread muffins and butter. Tasted fresh out of the oven.
We tried one of the appetizers breaded shrooms. They were perfect size and also hand battered. Interesting dipping sauce called vedauwoo sauce.
This visit was awesome!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 4, 2015Previous reviewTried them for breakfast. I had the hen house breakfast i would not recommend the ranch sweet potatoes very undercooked. The bacon is to die for eggs and toast are delicious. Service was good butsuper slow getting food out to customers. Not bad deal.
Jun 30, 2014Previous reviewI had the chicken Cesar salad it was really plentiful and the romaine lettuce was crisp and fresh. They also off er it with sirloin. There menu has great variety. I would recommend to anyone.
