We went for birthday dinners and steak was a little chewy. The last time we went it was great.

We frequent this establishment about once a month. New Years Eve was a disappointment. Special menu (we were prepared for limited menu) was increased prices. The meat was all excellent (filet, porterhouse and prime rib). However, we waited at our table for 1/2 hr for a server. The French onion soup was lukewarm, the baked potato was under done. Hate to waste $264 for a sub par experience. The real travesty was the drink prices. 2 grasshoppers, a Baileys on the rocks and a whiskey coke was $79.. Seems the lovely bartenders had a license to charge whatever they wanted. We watched as an elderly adorable couple were charged $44.50 for their two drinks. Certainly changed their happy demeanor to a shocked expression. Don't know what they ordered, but it wasn't ice cream drinks.
So sad to take advantage of customers because it's New Year's Eve .

We are slowly making our way through the Wisconsin Supper Club map! The Stakeout did not disappoint. You will need to make a reservation. The last seating is at 9:00 p.m. The place was packed even at 8:15 p.m. We were the only people wearing masks and felt a little bit like we were a zoo exhibit, but hey, it's Wisconsin, where covid is some liberal conspiracy to take away your "rights".

It was evident that the majority of people in the restaurant were regulars and knew each other's names. We arrived early for our reservation and sat at one of the small tables in the bar area.

We did have trouble getting a drink at the bar. I suspect because it was so busy, however the hostess that checked us in finally came over and took a drink order for us. While we sat and waited for our table, we listened to Mr Al White at the keyboard!

We were seated in the dining area within the bar. There is a separate dining area with Open Flame grilling of your steaks. Our waitress was very pleasant and very efficient. I had a great filet and my husband had pan-fried walleye. We also had a good Wisconsin Brandy old-fashioned. The meal with three drinks was a little over $80.

We will be back again sometime. You will really need to look for this restaurant as the surrounding area has transitioned more to Light Industry, apartments, Etc. It is not far off of 896

We ordered take out for my dad's birthday. I didn't have a lot of expectations since I haven't been to this place before. But wow! What a nice surprise! The French onion soup was on point, packaged nicely, and super delicious! We also had prime rib, perfect texture, temperature, and perfect flavor! They really do take care of how they package your meals for take out and I appreciate that! We will definitely order from this place again or maybe try dine in next time!

Great steakhouse! Made a reservation for 8pm. We arrived 15 min early so we sat at the bar and had a drink. Although the restaurant was busy, we were called and seated promptly at 8. We were seated within the bar area, so it was a little hard to hear the waiter and have a conversation. Next time will specify to sit in dining area. Food was delicious and prepared to perfection!

I have enjoyed my dining a few different occasions and I returned last night. I ordered the Ribeye and was disappointed with what they served. It was thinner than what I expected and was actually thinner than a grocery store steak. I asked for medium but came out well done...why bother asking how people want it done when it's a 1/4" thick. The "lobster" Mac cheese was cold when arrived and was kinda pathetic in flavor. Tonight's meal was not one I would repeat getting or suggest for others. I also ordered the grilled shrimp as an add-on and it was in the shell (messy as heck to deal with and did not expect to be doing that at the table). Service and attention to detail at the table was great which made up for the meal. I gave 4 stars because of the excellent service but that ribeye was pathetic. I hope they change their purveyor of meat.

I have eaten here a couple of times and enjoyed the meal and other times it was just average. The last time was the worst. I will not go back. The server asked why I didn't want a box and I explained the fish was terribly rubbery (like it was microwaved). She said she would tell the chef and then there was not another word about it. I got my bill and questioned her if she intended to adjust my check in some way and she replied, "oh no, I can't do that". I asked why she bothered to tell the chef and was told they would have re-made my meal, but she failed to offer me anything like that until my party was done and the check had come. Loyalty is earned through service. Very disappointing. Enough said.

My wife and I had tremendous steak dinners. The service was excellent. The restaurant was trimmed nicely for the holidays.
