Steak ’n Shake

Don't come here late night and expect fast service. There's normally a line inside and at the drive-thru. It gets to be annoying. You would expect that since they experience this every night especially on the weekend that they would have found a way to solve this problem. For example maybe schedule more employees, anything. Obviously they have not.
The good thing is my food has never tasted like it was sitting there waiting, it's always hot. I'm a fan of the fries and they are not overly salty. I love the milkshakes even though I never make it during happy hour.

Here's a hint for my impatient friends: Don't come here when you think other people will be here ie. late night, after work etc.

How disgusting can one establishment get before it gets shut down??? Health center needs to be notified asap! How is the restaurant so dirty and the staffs uniforms are gross when this place is a ghost town? Seems like they don't mind if you come in un showered and dirty for work. Food was below expectations. Not what it used to be and certainly my last time here. Someone is going to get sick from how dirty this entire place is.

This is my sometimes go-to spot after getting my Saturday morning haircut. My how this place has changed, the waitstaff is gone, replaced with a kiosk. The breakfast menu is now gone, and even the giant hot dogs they used to sell are gone. The only things left are the hamburgers, now normally That would still be a plus, but they have lost their way of making these as well. The Frisco Melt and Western BBQ burgers were always my go-to. But this last time I don't know what happened I got my burgers fresh off the grill but somehow the quality of the steak burgers has gone way down. The only good thing I can say about this place is the location, Toco HIlls shopping center there are tons of other food options in this area.

Loved the self checkin kiosk. No need to haggle with associates at the register. Use if the kiosk was easy and self explanatory. There were 4 kiosk so need for waiting in lines. The location was very clean. Our beverages were ready first then our food was ready shortly afterwards. The shakes were served thick and delicious. The food was served hot. Great experience!!

They can improve on everything. This location is always not together. They never have product. The drive-thru is closer consistently and today they're closed because they don't have a manager. It's always something with this location and I'm surprised they aren't closer. Their service and food quality are trash.

Food/Hamburg wasn't in Delivery Bag. Wrong Shake. Fries looked like they got them out of the Trash. Then I call to speak with Management. Sigh. After 8 calls. I was not charged. Don't MAKE EXCUSES...MAKE IT RIGHT. IT'S LIKE STEALING MY $/$

This location has always had very poor and slow service forever. From rude staff, to never being able to make shakes despite that being the whole point of this company. The staff seems to work extra hard to get this location shut down by continuing to sink it.

This is the rudest location ever!!! The guy with the gold teeth was very angry at the fact I wanted to make sure my fries were large along with my drinks that I ordered. He got so upset by that, he felt the need to address me a faggot. And said they are not serving any punk weak ass sissies like me... So please beware. I have it all on video. It will be uploaded.

service is sloth like. I got in line in the drive thru at 9:47 pm and didn't get my food until 10:18 pm, 31 minutes later.

I ordered a Frisco Melt combo with onion rings and they got my order wrong! No onion rings and fries instead.

That will teach me to drive off prior to checking my order. I verified it, verbally, with the cashier, who confirmed he gave me what I ordered, but it was not correct.

Choose any other restaurant than this one!

This place is super slow on everything. I'll order a milkshake on the app for a specific time and they will still take a long time. The only time I come here now is if I'm drunk or I have a free milkshake on the app. I've been to the one in Duluth many late nights and that one always had better service. Maybe the alcohol and late nights distorted my sense of time. Nostalgia has actually prevented me from going back to the one in Duluth. I don't want to ruin my college nights.

$4 for a double steak burger and fries is still the best deal, but once you add tip, it's not that much better deal than fast food places. If you want a fancier burger, go to BurgerIM. If you value your time, go to Wendy's. You could tell the people that work here hate it here.
