Normally Starbucks has great customer service, but this time I was wasn't even acknowledged. The person at the front cash register was cashing out her tips and couldn't even look up to say hello or acknowledge me.how the lady who was working drive-through came over and said hello. She did her co-worker the tank eye to start our order.
A plus for this location was when my drink was made incorrectly they did make it. Another plus the bathroom were clean .

Just moved to the area, and this starbucks was close so I've been getting coffee here and using their wifi until I have internet at home.

Starbucks is like McDonalds. It's going to taste the same no matter where it's at. If you like their coffee (which I don't) you'll probably like it here...

So with that said this review is mainly for their internet. The internet gets 1 star. This is probably the slowest internet connection I've ever seen, At peak hours with a lot of people on their wifi, it literally gets too slow to even connect to the simplest pages and do the simplest of tasks, let alone stream music. But even when it's not peak hours, the internet is RIDICULOUSLY slow.

If for some reason you haven't found Valhalla, Metronome, Treos or any of the other decent coffee places yet, then come here for your Starbucks fix. But whatever you do, don't come here for the wi-fi.

I have been to this Starbucks' location multiple of times. It's quite small and does not have a drive-thru. Sometimes (later in the evening) the "background" music is too loud making it a not-so-good place to read or study while sipping on hot coffee.

Today, I decided to give this place a review because of an exceptional service I received today! I put in a mobile order to this Starbucks location earlier and ran 40 minutes late due to unexpected traffic. I called the store and Ashley (one of the baristas) kindly offered to remake all of the drinks for me since it was watered down and cold. It is excellent service like this that keeps me coming back for more! Way to go, Ashley!

Sat. May 26th, 11:30 am: Very disappointing to observe 2 baristas treat customers with disrespect, especially after making order errors! Today, 6000 Starbucks stores are closing for racial bias training. I hope the local Tacoma (James Center) baristas get additional training in age-bias, as the two mistreated customers were over 65! The most shocking thing is that these customers were completely independent of one another, coming in separately. I was behind the, & overheard both of their orders. I also noted that the barista made the error (distracted by constant chatter with co-workers), NOT the customers.
When the customers left, the baristas continued to speak poorly and complain about them, to the point where I finally walked out of the store without my order. They engaged in so much time bemoaning how they hated to "fix people's orders who can't make up their minds", I figured my drink (sitting in front of barista, just waiting for foam) was cold! Plus, it was disheartening to observe such disrespect to our communities oldest members, who did NOT place nor change erroneous orders!

I work across the street from this store, & will share my review with my 1200 co-workers at the college, as they would not want to support such inappropriate & hurtful behavior, when there's a Cutter's Point 1 mile away.

Starbucks has a pricing problem. The grande version of my usual drink is MORE expensive than the venti version? (Why? Because a grande quad adds two shots and a venti quad adds one shot. Answer: math) Also, 3 of the last five times I have ordered here, over a six week period, the drink was made wrong. This is not my usual store. I think it's on my 'avoid' list for six months.

This Starbucks location isn't terrible, but it also isn't great. There has been times I have been in and out with no problems, but then there has also been times I had to wait forever to get my order or I had the wrong drink made for me. It's really a hit or miss location.

The quality is just becoming non existent. I ordered a soy latte, simplistic I make them all day every day. The shots were bland and lacking strength, flavor, just flattening my drink. It was a bitter cup of soy milk.

And this was no dead shot, I saw them pull the shots. I wish Starbucks turned their coffee back into an art form where ever process and step had a labor of love put into it...not one step clicks and buttons with a b.s. end result of a drink.

      First to Review

I thought all Starbucks were the same. I was wrong.

This one had no scones - not that they were out of stock, they claimed to not carry them at all. I really, really enjoy a blueberry scone with a cappuccino (although not as much after they took out the trans fats), but I digress.

Other than the lack of scones, this was like any other Starbucks. There were two groups of older men meeting for Saturday morning coffee, a guy with a laptop and two kids still getting to know each other (she asked, "Do you like coffee?" his reply, 'No." I sense a relationship in jeopardy). The staff was friendly, quick and efficient. Just a Starbucks minus scones.

Day two update. They had scones Sunday morning and the blueberry one too! It was weird, but I didn't ask. I was happy with my scone.

Decent service as expected at Starbucks. They seemed to now there regular customers which is always nice and shows that the workers have been around for a few and are attentive to customers wants and needs.

Store had plenty seating and all the normal goodies that are available.
