* Great Barista *
* Friendly Staff *
* Semi Clean *
Maybe one of the best peppermints I've ever had, the mix was perfect! The staff seemed kind and our order was quick.
The tables really needed some love. There was water and some rappers left and we cleaned our table. It wasn't busy but there was only 2 people working.
Biggest problem was there was no wifi. They said they've called it in multiple times and still no luck. Had to pack everything up and go elsewhere. No fun..Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jisha M.Cincinnati, OH85169876Oct 15, 2018
A whirlwind of orders and not enough staff to keep up. I have been to this location several times and it is consistently busy. The floor is littered with scraps, the tables are sticky, and the trash is overflowing; not the Starbucks standards I am used to. However, despite the flurry of activity, the baristas are friendly, efficient, and have taken the time to help me get exactly what I'm in the mood for.
Not a location to stop and linger, more get in and get out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 25, 2015
This place is convenient because of the huge parking lot and sure - there's always a line but that's the case at every Starbucks that I frequently go to.
So why the three stars?
I think there are a few simple things to kick it up a notch here, perhaps 1) smile and say welcome, after all, I'm happy to be here as a customer 2) play some background jazz music, something to let you know that you are in a comfortable place 3) does the place have free wifi? I couldn't gain access and the barristas were to busy to ask and finally 4) I was, on a number of occasions, allowed to split my Venti extra chocolate chips Frap into two smaller cups. Well one day a new person just said "no" and that could have been handled better because my feelings were hurt.
But I'll keep coming back, I'm just being nit picky and I know that's what you're thinking.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - John G.Morton Grove, IL011Jul 15, 2022
looks like they might have tried to unionize or something, but they shut down and are hiring a completely new staff.

While it has the typical perky baristas and noisy environment: coffee machines & customer conversations. The inner interior is relatively small compared to others that I have visited, and it does not give off that vibe of stay and do your work inside. In my opinion, I have to say that it is designed more as a spot to meetup for coffee or an interview versus that place for a student to conduct homework or study.
During my visit, I actually wanted to grab my mocha latte and login to my blog, but I was hindered from that due to the lack of outlets, seats near wall outlets and workstations. That alone gave me the assumption that this is not a place where students go because how can you plug your laptop in inside of a place that has few outlets.
I imagine that many of the students visit the Dunkin' Donuts up the street versus this location because the Dunkin' Donuts is cozier, yet has a tad more in comparison. This Starbucks also lacks the comfortable cushioned furniture, which most Starbucks locations have. To paint the picture clearer, it is basically your typical Dunkin' Donuts, yet composed of a Starbucks menu and interior color. Yep! That sounds about right.
The funny thing about Starbucks locations in Chicago are that they lack parking, but have all the comfortable inner furniture that lures you into staying to do your work. However you have this location in Morton Grove with ample amount of parking, yet nothing that welcomes you to stay and do your work.
Nothing against this location because the customer service I received was great! My low three star rating is based off its design, which is definitely fixable! My question is where do you go, if you were in this situation as a student or blogger wanting to enjoy coffee or a mocha latte while getting in work on your laptop?

Skip over this Starbucks if possible. Unorganized and worst drink I've had yet. I wish I would have tried it before going to my car as I would have returned it.
Looks like the staff needs some training pronto.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jan 5, 2015Updated review
This Starbuck's is efficient enough.
My biggest gripe is that the drinks are highly variable depending on the barista. For example, my go-to iced Americano comes with a range of 5ish half cubes of ice to the cup half full of ice, depending on who's making it. I don't like it when my first sip is lukewarm liquid, and I prefer the cup to be half full of ice cubes.
On my last visit, I specifically told the barista to fill the cup half full of ice. I thought for sure he didn't hear me or misunderstood even though I repeated it bc when my drink was made up, it had 4 micro ice cubes in it. And lo and behold, "1/2 cup ice" was written on the cup too (by him!). What! I think someone was in dire need of a few shots of espresso before coming into work...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 15, 2010Previous reviewThis one's a little crammed, but the staff has got the 'you're in-you're out-go' process down flat. Convenient location.
My current crush is the iced cinnamon dolce latte.
I wish they had frequent buyer cards. - Mateo W.Morton Grove, IL9969537Feb 22, 2016
The place has a huge parking lot to compensate for the fitness center and some random outlets. This Starbucks is very small and only seats about 15 people. With such a small space it is bound to be packed with people waiting in line and getting frustrated over how long it takes to receive their drink.
Overall if you want to get a coffee and do some work on the computer Id recommend going to a different one to get more space and a quiet atmosphere.
PS: Venti Carmel Macchiato is the good good!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - jory w.Northbrook, IL9147244Jan 12, 2018
I live 2 minutes from another Starbucks, but drive 10 minutes to go to this location. The people who work here are so kind and helpful, especially with my indecisiveness. They also don't get annoyed with my kids, or if I come in here to do work. No drive through, but it's the people who work here who are amazing, so it doesn't matter. Quick, efficient and friendly.

So I ordered a cold foam cold brew. Took it and left to find out that they added vanilla syrup and cream without me asking for it. It was also overdrownee in foam and was dripping allover. Terrible.
