Dive bar with a lot of schedule band to play. They have a bunch of shows scheduled. The night I was here the bar had only one bartender. A very nice older lady. Since she was only one and there was a good amount of people there it was a bit slow to get a drink. The bar is cash only the drinks are pretty cheap. The beer selection is pretty weak, unless you love drinking domestic light beers.

      Fun little dive bar!!

They've made a ton of improvements over the past few years. Chuck, Jenn and everyone are doing a great job here!! It's a lot cleaner than it used to be. They've built a stage in back so expect live music. They don't really host just 1 genre - they have bands that play punk, folk, metal, DJs, everything. They also have open mic nights, vinyl nights and comedy nights.

The drinks are cheap! Most beers and shots are $3. They don't accept credit cards so bring cash!

They USED to have shuffle-bowling and I am sad that they don't anymore. I think they replaced it with darts though.

      The Appearance:
Hop into your submarine to reach this dive bar. I will admit that compared to what this venue used to look like there has been significant improvement. This is mostly due to the addition of the stage in the back. Still not the cleanest venue in town. But it has character.

      The Bar:
Nothing fancy here. The bar is the first thing on your right once you walk in. The service is great. Very personable bartenders. Even when it is a packed house the service is quick and the quality is still there. I will note all my drink purchases were bottled. Not sure how mixed drinks or beverages on tap are.

      The Experience:
The venue is geared for heavier bands where volume is more important than sound quality. There is an odd half wall that cuts into the main floor in front of the stage which significantly cuts down the space. If it is a full house the main floor can get really crowded. Especially if the crowd gets rowdy and starts to thrash around. Then you're forced to sit on the other side of the half wall where you feel slightly distant from the band.

      For Bands:
Don't expect many bells and whistles here. The basics are there, but the lack of a sound crew makes the sound very lackluster. Feedback seems to be a common problem throughout the show. There is a back room to store instrument cases, but it fills up fast when there are 3 or 4 bands on the bill. The stage looks like it will fall over any second, but trust me it can take a beating. It was a little tight for our 7 piece band.

      The Verdict:
Eh. Nice place to let loose, but there are certainly better venues in the area. It has a punk rock undertone so if that is not your scene you have been warned. As far as bands go, think of this venue as a public practice space.

I would give this bar 0 stars if I could. The bathroom is extremely dirty, the bartender was pretty rude. Wasted my time and money there. Please go anywhere else if you want to get your money's worth.

Worst experience I've ever had. Sound is terrible. Drinks are terrible and watered down. Bartender/Owner is rude. Sketchy business.

Don't expect much in the way of fancy features but if you enjoy music and an interesting crowd, come in for a drink. During the day this is your average corner bar. At night it transforms into a great music venue complete with a new stage in the back. Great drink prices as well.

Just one of the many fun nights.

I went here for a show last summer. Staff here was really friendly. Nice room by the stage. The drinks here are cheap and good. The bartender that made my drinks was super friendly and one of the best that I've come in contact with. The parking here too isn't a nightmare like I was expecting either.
