Just came for a quick bite. I had the falafel pita. The server told me it was different in that it's made into a giant long patty. It was pretty tasty overall. The portion was huge, and I could have easily shared with friends. The pita was soft and fresh. The falafel was flavorful and not too greasy. It was chock full of fresh veggies and hummus. I got it spicy which was decent, but I think I might stick with the traditional next time, as the buffalo sauce was a bit overpowering. It also came with some super tasty fries that had a great mix of crispy and squishy pieces. The service was super prompt and friendly. Banaifa really helped to make sure my order was the way I wanted it. I definitely recommend this place for a late night bite with friends.

Initially I only ordered a smoothie (mango and it was good), but as I waited I found it a shame not to try a gyro so I ordered up an Authentic and sipped my drink til it arrived.
All gyros come with fries. And not just any fries, but some of the best fries around. Hard to explain that one, but trust me they're great. As far a the gyro, I have never seen so much meat. All in all it was a good lunch, maybe I could have used some more tzatziki but still very good, very filling, and not to forget relatively inexpensive.
In conclusion, if you go in for a smoothie don't be a dummy; order a gyro.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Paul G.Lancaster, PA752Jul 11, 2009
Very good, traditional Greek food at great prices. One of the better casual places in town. Cozy atmosphere without feeling cramped
I ate the buffalo chicken gyro, it was tasty and enough to fill you up without making you stuffed. Friend of mine at the traditional and really liked it as well.
It was rather busy but we were still served quickly. Staff is friendly and helpful.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Frank C.Lancaster, PA50122Apr 7, 2016
When this place opened, it was awesome. They still proudly display their Best of 2008 clipper magazine award. However, it has become terrible for so many reasons. The service and waitstaff are incompetent, they never have any of the ingredients on hand, they frequently don't have takeout containers (salad in a pizza box! dressing in a Dixie cup with tin foil on top!).
On my most recent (and final) visit, I ordered a Greek salad (a *Greek* salad) and watched the employee scan the empty cooler and containers to make sure he had the ingredients. When I got home, I discovered no stuffed grape leaves, no pickled eggs and iceberg lettuce instead of mixed greens. I returned to the restaurant and was given three grape leaves and told "there's some spinach in there." (There wasn't.)
This is the end for me and Spyro Gyro. Too bad because the lemon chicken soup has always been superb. But I'm done with this joke of a restaurant.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David G.Lancaster, PA0322Apr 7, 2015
Website says they deliver but they won't deliver during the day.
Don't get delivery. The Meze platter came in a cardboard pizza box and was missing the Feta Cheese, Anchovies, and Olives.
The Lobster Bisque came in a soda cup.
They substitute items without letting you know. My footlong cheesesteak came in whole wheat pita bread.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paulaska R.Paterson, NJ5411Aug 17, 2016
OMG! Best gyro I've ever had! A friend and I were looking for something good to eat on our mini staycation. The place is adorable and the owner is so sweet. We ordered a chicken gyro and a lamb gyro... Both came with fresh cute fries and were fresh, meaty, and savory! If you in the area you must stop by!

Came here for lunch on Sunday.
They basically said they didnt have beef or lamb, ok....
Then they werent able to make the pastito, no onion soup, only 2 choices of soda. They have no ingredients to run a store!!
Portion sizes are a bit small.
Lastly we went to pay and their credit card machine wasnt working. Just a little annoying.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Chris L.Baltimore, MD62519Jul 24, 2016

Oh man! We were just saying 'we need som baba ganoush!'and here we found it. Large portions of everything. Baba needed a second pita it was so generous.
Authentic gyro was just that. Grew up manging on them in Chicago and this one brought me back. Careful if you don't like spice as they will put hot peppers inside.
Dear spouse had spinach pie and salad and enjoyed.
Offspring had spyro salad. Large portion. Said meat a litter tough but she can be a tough critic as it almost all disappeared.
Definitely going to be a repeatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - MoCe C.Reading, PA1091662Sep 1, 2015
