Q:
Best place to buy Asian groceries?
A:
Beyond soy and other sauces no. There's two Asian Markets that I frequent. One on Madison Blvd. and one on highway 72.

We traveled to Sprouts to pick up a couple of rolls. While in the store we purchased fresh tomatoes, shallots, apples and wine. I like to visit the counter where sushi rolls are. We bought imitation crab roll and a California roll made with imitation crab. I thought about buying fresh salmon and tuna nigiri until I saw the seafood display case. I saw fresh sushi grade tuna and lost my appetite. The thought of fish being in the display case made me change my mind. If you have eaten nigiri in a restaurant and became sick, you would understand my loss of appetite. I only eat the cleanest freshest fish raw these days. Sprouts has consistently had fresh fish.

One of my new Yelp friends posted that the sushi at Sprouts was very good. I have been craving sushi ever since I read that. I went to Sprouts today to see for myself. The employee at the sushi counter told me all the sushi is prepared by him daily and nothing for sale is a day old. I paid for the tuna and salmon rolls and went home.
The fish was fresh with NO odor. I got a dish and mixed wasabi and soy sauce together and dipped a salmon roll in my prepared sauce and took a bite. Yummy fresh fish!
Thank you my new Yelp friend for the recommendation.
Folks if you like sushi, please check out Sprouts. Oishi. - Jul 10, 2022
I've been a Sprouts fan for a few years and couple other cities. This one holds up to their standards.
I like it because they carry a lot of healthy options but it's not crazy expensive. They also have manager specials often where you can find some deep discounts. Produce selection is pretty good and at good prices too, lots of nuts/grains/seeds and such by weight, good wine and beer, and fresh meats and fish.
My favorite thing here is the sushi though. Unlike most supermarket sushi, the rice is always fresh and the fish is nicely cut and tastes great. I have found plenty of mediocre sushi in this town, so this was a wonderful surprise.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2022
It is three stars for me. These folks talking about decent prices must be from the West coast or Nee England. This place is SKY HIGH, but organically speaking.
They do have quality things and a great selection for the niche--gluten or unique diet. They have great produce and fruit. You pay for that. This is not your one stop grocery shop, though. If you try to make it that you will get taken advantage of. For example--eggs, dairy, juices, etc...significantly overpriced compared to the same brand and type of good at other places nearby.
Just know what your are getting, get it, and get out.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 29, 2023
Yesterday afternoon, I went to this grocery stores since I was told this was a good place to get organic food from a coworker at work. To be honest, I wish I had discovered this grocery store sooner. Even though majority of their items are a bit pricey, this store had items I was able to get; since I'm lactose intolerant and certain foods hurt my stomach. I also liked how all of the workers asked me how I was doing and if I needed help; since it was my first time in the store. When I went to check out my items....Mya was my cashier and she made sure I felt welcome and made sure I got everything. Will be back for sure in the near future. :)

Staff are slow and unresponsive, they show no willingness to open lanes with customers waiting, and they are rude to customers. The current leadership at this store apparently lacks the competence to run a retail establishment.
It is never a good look when staff are chatting with customers waiting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ash L.San Diego, CA9182160May 23, 2023Updated review
So, overall this store has much improved over the last year. But, some of the cashiers are just awful, mean and downright rude. Particularly Brooke. Wow, what a mean person she is. She intentionally flips her name tag so you don't know who she is. I had to ask her for her name. She makes little eye contact and refuses to give even mediocre service. I'm just shocked she has a job. I feel really bad for any employee or customer who has to deal with her. I avoid her at all costs. What is the point of having a nice shopping trip if you have to check out with some one who is condescending and snarky? But, because of the labor shortage I guess nonsense like this is tolerated. Very sad. I recommend calling the corporate office if you have an issue and making a complaint. Their number is 480-814-8016. That's the only was that the service improves.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 20, 2020Previous reviewThis place sucks now. The new management is full of corporate type jerks. I absolutely hate shopping here. The lines are always terribly long. Lots of expired products on the shelves so make sure you are checking ALL dates before purchase. If you have to return an expired item, have fun waiting in the RIDICULOUSLY long lines to do so. Every single time I come in here, I regret it. This store has completely imploded. I feel sorry for the cashiers because they are actually very nice and hardworking. Unfortunately, the good outweighs the bad! Go to Publix, you will have a much better experience there.
Dec 8, 2019Previous reviewThe first time I went in here, I did not have a positive shopping experience. Blake was my cashier and I found him to be very stand-off ish. He did not speak to me at all. Barely acknowledged me. Either he was having a bad day or....hates his job. IDK. He did not greet me nor did he say goodbye. Very weird and awkward. That was on November 24th.
I figured I would give this store another chance today (as Sprouts is my favorite store). It was terrific. Stephanie greeted us and was so sweet. She asked if I needed help finding anything. I had a great time interacting with her. She is from my home state so it made me feel really comfortable. For a new employee she certainly is doing an outstanding job representing Sprouts. Kaitlin was my cashier. She was very attentive, patient, friendly and hardworking. This was a fun and phenomenal shopping trip. I enjoyed talking to the assistant manager Jerry. He is a wonderful guy who always makes you feel valued and appreciated. I knew I could count on Sprouts to redeem themselves. Be willing to give them a try. Excellent store with a lot of good healthy food. - Short N.AL, AL01Jun 16, 2023
Double check the sales prices, because if you get Lauren as your cashier she will ignore you when you tell her the price is wrong....three times. I didn't have time to make a big stink, but a review is forever, right?
Otherwise, I do like this Sprouts location. Sometimes sales items are out of stock, but they do give rain checks and the staff are normally very helpful. The place is clean and organized.
Lauren just needs to step up her game.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 10, 2022
An excellent market with some very fresh garden items and excellent meat and seafood. The regular supermarket items are also available as well I was impressed with the quality and the quantity at Sprouts. I highly recommend this Market. I will definitely be back.

I've been shopping here at Sprouts Farmers Market since I've got here in July. It's clean and spacious with a lot of variety; beer and wine, various meats, a Deli, vitamin supplements, essential oil's, bulk food items and more. A majority of the items here are geared toward the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. I shop mostly for produce, and the occasional ( healthy) snacks. I definitely like that Sprouts Farmers Market has micro greens. I'm a bargain shopper so I usually do my browsing online and pick from the items on sale. For late shoppers they close at 10pm, which is nice to know. You can shop and pay online and use curbside pickup for those who prefer this. Pretty Nice.
Tip: Not everything sold at Sprouts Farmers Market can be said to be non GMO. Likewise those who prefer to avoid Canola and other seed oils, Read the labels!
A tip from experience: Definitely don't go shopping hungry. Or without a list.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Julie T.Orlando, FL0222Mar 25, 2023
This has become my new favorite store. It's high quality food. Good organic produce options and grass fed beef available. It's easy to get in and out and the service is super friendly.
