      Updated review

My first time here was a few months ago and it was such a good experience that I came back again late on a Saturday night.

Second time here and the veggie burger was really tasty. My friend is vegan so we ordered it and shared and I, being a huge meat eater, was so surprised how flavorful and delicious the burger was and the fries were crisp and hot. The downfall came when the tomato slid out of the burger a little and I noticed they had given us the very top of the tomato where leaves sometimes come out. I was shocked at how a chef could blatantly put this slice of tomato on a burger and think that's ok to serve! It was lazy and I wanted to say something then, but the place was crowded and we were in a hurry so we just left. My other friend ordered the buffalo chicken fries and she loved them, but after the tomato thing I was sad that this place I liked so much would serve that. The food is good they should pay attention to the little things too, a nice tomato slice in a great tasting burger is so easy to do!!

Ordered the BBQ panini , good but pricey!!!!
15 bucks and they serve you minimal ketchup for your side of fries. It's 27 cents per tiny thing of ketchup!!! Had to open it up and scrape the bottom and it still didn't cover the fries. I felt ripped off after spending 25 bucks on food and drink in a fast food type environment the place was empty with not even a soul inside!! Now I know why, I needed another napkin but I was afraid they would
charge for that too! I felt entirely ripped off and not appreciated as a customer.

      First time ordering from Springtime.

My chopped "romaine hearts" salad looks like wilted iceberg lettuce.

      Hmmm...

Supposed to be chopped "romaine hearts". Looks more like iceberg

Looking for a New York vibe? You got it! You also have a chance to sit outside and see the bustling cars. They were filming a movie when I was there! It's also located a less than 5 minute walk from The Last Bookstore - another great location to check out when in Downtown LA. The people were extremely kind and always asking how we were doing.

I got the breakfast burrito with potato wedges on the side. Even though it may look like a smaller portion, it was just the perfect amount to get me full.

This served as my early morning food stop before heading back home from a night out. I came upon this place by accident, as I was walking back to my car. I decided to stop in and check out their options.
I decided on a chicken wrap with a side salad. My food came out in less than five minutes. The wrap was pretty good. The chicken was cooked with some spices, and was delicious. The salad was a good complement to the meal. They provided two different types of sauces, which I used lightly for both the wrap and the salad. There was no real need for them, though, as the food already tasted good.
The staff here was friendly, and the place was clean. I would recommend this place.

I postmated this place about a year ago and was satisfied with my order. I decided try it again as my friend was in the mood for a hearty burger. The location is prime in downtown Los Angeles which is great for business as it's a heavy traffic area. However, that also means parking is a pain in the ass. Be prepare to spend $7-$10 if you're not lucky enough to find a meter.

The first thing I noticed about the restaurant was it's size. I imagined it bigger in my dreams. Second, the have a sliding door entrance. Call me silly but I was super impressed with that lol. I actually went in and out a few times like a child being silly. You all know the doors that blast the AC when it opens? It's like that!!

The menu here is crazy. They have so many options to choose from. You can get freaky and create your own meal or order one of the popular items. I love they have large pictures of the food all over. This is especially helpful for us men who are visualizers and for people who can't read. I kept it simple and went with the heart attack burger w everything, a side of seasoned wedges and a Stella Artois to wash it down. Nothing fancy, just straight to the point. My friend created her own classic burger and had a side of onion rings complimented w cucumber water (boooring). In all, it was a chill experience dining inside the restaurant. Please be advise that you cannot sit in the patio area with alcohol. Shout out to our cashier/waitress/cook/entertainment as she was very personable. Btw, if you're reading this I still want that shirt of your back.

Absolutely outrageous. Ordered delivery through Grubhub. Waited 45 minutes and finally called when the food did not arrive per the estimated delivery time they told me.

Got a text saying-- "we're so sorry, running 15 minutes late". Got another text literally seconds after saying "Your order has been cancelled." Called and sat on hold for 5 minutes and finally got told by Grub hub that the restaurant was busy, closed, and decided not to fill the order.

Two hungry children after a long drive into town to visit my parents and these people decided to be grossly unprofessional and discourteous. What a great welcome home.

So, after I wrote the above I got a phone call about 15 minutes later (screenshot of the time attached), and the person said, "Hi, I'm here with your food."

      Yup.

Me: "Uh, I got a text saying you cancelled my order."

Driver: "Uh, let me call my boss."

10 minutes later he calls back and tells me that this is definitely my order. I go downstairs. No. driver: outside.

I go upstairs. I call the number back. He says, "Oops, I went to the wrong address."

I swear on all that is holy or profane that this is absolutely what happened. By the time we got the food it was cold and awful.

I'm not changing my review because clearly there is some kind of massive breakdown in communication at all levels. What a nightmare.

Huge location con: with SINYC on the corner of a busy DTLA street and 2 gaping automatic sliding doors that lead to their open kitchen, all I could think about was the explosive dust from the zooming traffic wafting directly into my food and giving my iced coffee straw a heartfelt, sanitary hug. My inner germaphobe was further terrorized by the mass of those slow-circling gnats in front. I kid you not, I get SO grossed out when I see restaurants with high volume of these problematic little flies because ~fun fact~ circling flies basically mean they're having a fun little mating party since they've got such a short lifespan to get their giggles in, so try stomach THAT while you eat your morning bagel. They have a cute patio. If you're ok with the smell of smog, crusty transients, and dog pee (or human???? We'll never know #dtla????).

Ordered a takeout lox everything bagel with fruit on the side (melons only though, for you allergy people). It comes toasted and loaded with salty salmon, cream cheese, 1-2 tomato slices, and a generous helping of red onions. It was way more filling than a snack, guess I won't be needing lunch! The taste of the food was great, and I'm glad I ordered takeout.

I can't say I'd give it over 2 stars for the location alone because of those darn problematic sliding doors, but +1 star for the kind curly-haired cashier who offered me soy, almond, or regular milk free of charge with the complimentary coffee. As I was about to leave a businessman who was seated behind me knocked over his hot coffee all over the place, and she handled the situation very politely and urgently as I exited. Kindness from patient people like you restores my faith in humanity.

If anything, I would return for to-go but I'll pass on sit down.

Lox on an everything bagel ($9 after tax!) comes with a side of fruit or fries.

The food served here is decent. Definitely can't complain about the taste of my Phillycheese Steak Sandwich and the Chicken Gyro Fajita. The beef was good and not too salty, nor was it bland. The stir fried sliced jalapeno peppers and bell peppers in my cheese steak sandwich certainly made my tastebuds salivate. It was served with homemade potato chips. The Chicken Gyro Fajita was also good except the meat was a bit on the dry side. The chicken was marinated when cooked. It was served in a pita bread with lettuce and chopped tomatoes. I liked it. And this order was served with onion rings. Each order was served with a side of ketchup and a ranch dipping sauce.

Again, the food here is good. However, they skimp out on the meat which made my sandwich and the gyro look flat. The cost of our food wasn't cheap. The menu showed $11.00 for our order, but got charged $12.00 each.

The small dining area along with the outside eating area wasn't too clean. Thankfully I didn't see any critters, but the tables needed a better cleaning while the floors needs sweeping.

I was most not happy about no restrooms available for customers. Especially when you have to go. I believe the sign posted about the restroom closed for renovation was not true. I understand there's a homeless problem in the area, but come on! Be realistic about having restrooms for the customers to use. I had to run to the next building and ask the security guard to use it.

Overall, my experience here was sub par. I did not enjoy sitting in a cramp area in addition to everything else. Btw, expect homeless guys to keep coming up to you asking for change.

Twice I've been here after 12am and twice I've found it nice.

They have a very extensive late night menu: breakfast which includes omelettes, waffles, breakfast burritos, etc and then there's burgers, wraps, sandwiches, deluxe fries, and dessert.

They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The only negative is the restroom. Everything in there is pretty gross. It's downtown LA so I understand it may be hard to keep clean but still. The employees are pretty nice too.

The food is pretty good. I've had their burgers, egg breakfast, Philly cheesesteak, and gyro burrito. Food tastes fresh and the fries are pretty good too. My favorite so far has been the Philly cheesesteak which comes in a pita bread. It has the classic tastes of a Philly cheesesteak- meat, cheese, onions, mushrooms, peppers- YUM!!
